Day 15: A Night Passes Peacefully

和平
The night watches reported no activity from any enemy camps. Mothers held their babes. Men drank wine and were satisfied. There is little to report in this chapter, so much will be said in the next.
No one has been killed.

It is now Day 15. You have 48 hours and two votes to find a threat to the Han!

Good work fam! I was screaming from the trunk of Mac's car to lynch him.

So now it's probably a good assumption that Nanman have been wiped out. I'm convinced leetic is our last YT. Then we'll have Mr. Indie leader to worry about.

So who is joining leetic? I kinda want to vote indiglo.

So, leetic and who else today? :D If he indeed turns out to be the last Yellow Turban (as is the impression) we need to be aware that the Indy may be active, and begin to use the Yellow's kill again.

Also, yay, Scotty can talk again! Aren't you glad you won't be silenced again?

I thought we had 1 more Nan remaining? Or do you think 1 was NKed?

I don't see how voting me makes any sense at all.

Also there was lots of linki with my last post that I see now, but that didn't come up as linki when I posted it.

But hell it could literally be anyone. That player wouldn't have an agenda other than surviving...or else they're hiding in plain sight.

Wait, does the game end if both teams are eliminated?

Linki: unless some hijinx happens from treasures, you betcha. I can only talk to myself so long.

Linki2: eh maybe not. I dont even know the game continues if both Mafia teams are eliminated.

I still see Bass as a viable candidate if we can't come up with anything better. In my notes I have him down as either Yuan Shao (the Indy that recruits) or Dong Zhuo (the Indy that inherits the Yellow's NK).

My only other pool from which to draw is there in my list. I guess anyone from light green down could be tricksy and just playing it as a civ. That's why if we really can't suss anyone out, I'd prefer to go with Bass as leetic's dueling partner.

I kind of thought the push back from Boom and Ninja/Blooper on the Mac vote yesterday was odd. I'm not sure if it means anything besides not paying attention or what though.

I could see pairing Leetic with Bass, or I could just as easiy go with Boomslang or Nijuu. The whole thing of showing up in time to vote (or posting mainly when someone mentions you) makes me a little suspicious. At the least, it suggests that a person wants to be sure to turn in their night action. Although, I don't see evidence of many night actions, so... I could be barking up the wrong tree.

If the Nanman haven't been taken out, it seems likely that the last member is inactive as well. Either way, leetic is a good candidate for YT, and I still feel Ninja is as well.

More likely that they just didn't submit a kill tbh. I'm only guessing that the lack of a NK on Night 1 was intentional, MP and SD were both absent Day 3, and SD was absent on Day 5. It kind of reinforces how strongly I feel about leetic being the last YT, in a way.

Can someone please explain the blooper vote?

I don't think she is bad in the slightest and yet she continues to get votes every phase. What role do you think she is?

Here's the math. We know realistically that there can only be one remaining Nanman and one remaining YT. Blooper is at least active enough to drop in seemingly random votes every phase. There was no kill last night, and Epi seemed very mum on revealing if a team has been eliminated.

I've already previously stated that I thought TH was Mafia, and even if he wasn't, there is a chance that one of the several nightkills from the YT could have been Nanman.

Unless you think there is still one left who hasn't been paying attention since Mac died and a kill wasn't submitted..which if that's the case, then the only two people who missed the vote yesterday are Bass and Aragorn.

I think Bass is our best choice to battle, because even if he loses, he still has a suspicious cloud looming over him IMO, whereas I think a ninja vote is non productive.

"Hurt" the civs eh?

Let's also look at it this way- you have won two duels already and even if you're good, your odds of beating leetic is slightly better than the rest of us.

But now it's just a deduction game. We know that once the YTs are gone, mr serial killer will be out to ransack the village

Yes! All these words!!

Why the Ninja/Blooper votes? Please to elaborate. Bass is our best duel partner, unless someone has info on ninja/blooper. Please explain, as we are getting close to end game, imo.

Only one name truly fits the inaction of the yellow turbans. That is the one called leetic. The clever fish does not fit. Nobody fits. The Nanman and the yellow turbans may both be gone to the spirit world, and leetic remains as the silent lone murderer.

I have followed the call of nature as ever before for the second vote. The clever fish exhudes an aura of trust and of peace. This spirit does not understand why he endures such antipathy. The soul of the ninja warrior burns less brightly. She conducts herself much like the flower of the heavens which we long ago vanquished.

Oh, I'm down with voting leetic, I have no problem there.

It's just ninja/blooper that I'm not sure about voting. So you think ninja/blooper could also be Yellow, hence the SpaceDaisy reference? Or a remaining, inactive Nan?

Do you have anyone in mind for the Indy SK who will inherit the Yellow NK? Because that seems like a good place to vote if we're working on vanquishing the Yellows.

I guess I'd also like to hear from Ninja/Blooper herself. Her vote yesterday was weird, to say the least.

If we are willing to assume that the muderers of all factions have not been murdering because of their inaction and apathy, then the answer is simple:

The sole remaining wearer of the yellow turban is leetic, or it is nobody.

The sole remaining bearer of the scent of the Nanman is leetic, or it is nobody.

Both the yellow turbans and the Nanman may even be gone to us already. This is plausible enough. In such a world, the killer who acts alone is leetic, or it is nobody.

The second vote is a matter of who is suspicious without consideration of the variables. The variables do not favor anyone but the one called leetic. This spirit feels that the ninja warrior is the least trustworthy among the remaining souls.

Understand that this spirit respects the rules of nature above all else. I will say though that I am not certain about the ninja warrior, not as I was about MacDougall. My confidence is limited to my ability to judge the heart of the ninja warrior with limited exposure to her public image. However, my confidence against the destruction of the clever fish is stronger. This spirit feels that destroying the clever fish would be no more sensible than destroying yourself, bearer of jars, or even the one who speaks only in metaphor.

Straight up, my votes are skim-decided at best, but 90% random. I don't have time to check this game consistently, let alone actually catch up, but I am enjoying a low-key game for a change where I'm not freaking out and overanalyzing whilst being stupid busy: I'm literally currently waiting to take pictures at my friend's wedding, on a weekend that follows another friend's wedding, which follows a weekend of travel, which followed a weekend of...well, you get the picture.

Anyway, I'm going to vote for not myself and whatever gives me the best chance not to be voted. I'll check back in tomorrow to see where that goes, but it appears leetic will be one of those.

Unless there really is a nanman left, whoever I vote that isn't leetic will be based on indie hunting. nijuu fits the description of an indie Dong Zhuo waiting for their role to activate better than Bass at this point, because she's the one who's coasting. Neither of them has appeared particularly gung-ho about lynching the YT's specifically which I would expect to see from someone eager to get that going.

Yes, this day is still young. Sometimes we are pulled to our callings quickly.

I think Bass is our best choice to battle, because even if he loses, he still has a suspicious cloud looming over him IMO, whereas I think a ninja vote is non productive.
uhmm, no I didn't...

Ok, my bodied friend. (No offense, Zou  ) Now this makes sense to me, and I can get down with it. Maybe I just needed to hear this in mortal terms, but I can definitely get down with this.

And yes, we have until the PM of October 1. According to my mortal calculations, that gives us more than 24 hours yet to vote.

Why are we assuming Zhou Dong is waiting in some sort of limbo? Wouldn't it be in his best interest to appear as civ as possible?

And anyway, Bass fits your description perfectly.

I could vote right now, but that'd mean losing time we could otherwise spend discussing this, so I wont.

indiglo, still think Bass is a good vote? Is it because of his survival history alone?

linki: With Dong Zhuo, I see two ways they'd approach the game, obviously which one it is would depend on the person. They might not do either, but I think these are likely.

1) Dong Zhuo is an active civ. Unless they're incredibly meticulous they'll be likely be hunting for YT's much more than the nanman.
2) Dong Zhuo coasts because their role is useless for a pretty long time period.

Why does Bass fit my description more than nijuu? I don't know if I could accurately describe Bass's activity as 'coasting'.

I'm completely prepared to vote leetic, because I think there's a very high chance he's the last YT. The only issue is that his death will trigger the killings of the SK. A way around that is that we take advantage of his inactivity and try to find the SK first.

I think we have enough votes to put both Bass and nijuu up against eachother, and that's a compromise I'd accept.

And the most willing combatant otherwise is the same clever fish you would destroy. This spirit suggests that you emerge from your tunnel, child.

Many of you forget that leetic is the best candidate for the lone murderer as well as the Nanman or yellow turbans. He may even be our final foe.

I think that if leetic was Dong Zhuo he'd have been replaced way before now. Probably when the last YT was still alive.

To prioritize replacements is to have no regard for fairness. This spirit will not rest on such assumptions.

Ok...
First of all, I'm hardly tunneling on Bass. I've tunneled on many a person this game and this isn't it.

As for leetic being the best candidate to duel and possibly being our last foe: that's exactly what I'm saying. Having Bass, who has won two battles already, fight as some sort of damned champion, seems like a very good idea, no?

Ok, so here's where I'm at. I don't want to vote Bass simply because of his past prowess at dueling, no. I have Bass down as 1 of these 2 Indies: The SK or the dude that recruits.

Yuan Shao
Strategist
Military strategist and commander.
Each Night, Yuan Shao will attempt to recruit a warrior (anyone with BTSC cannot be recruited). He may recruit up to three warriors (one from each kingdom). *Secrets*

So, my theory was to wait and see who, if anyone seemed to stand up for Bass when I declared my stance on him (as him being 1 of these 2 roles). I figured if there was much of a ruckus kicked up, it would likely be from his recruited warriors, which would then identify Bass as the Yuan Shao Indy. So that's why I was formulating a theory that perhaps Zou Ci was some how roped in with the recruiting Indy, and perhaps Quin, after standing up for Bass so vociferously.

To be clear, I have no problem with Yuan Shao or his recruits, I was simply using that as a basis for my theory of identifying which of those 2 roles Bass has. Ya dig?

The Serial Killer is most definitely still alive, because s/he has not lost a duel, and CANNOT be NKed. So no, Leetic is NOT our final foe, spirit dude. The SK is still out there FOR SURE, though we can hope s/he is inactive at best.

It's time for complete transparency, and this is where I'm at.

I don't want Bass votes to be motivated by the hope that he'll win. I want to see Bass votes motivated by suspicion. We're not so many in number anymore so it's becoming more unfeasible to take risks like that.

Hey now, you know, I do not hate this idea.

I'm not sure we still have the votes to do that though, especially with some who just pop in, vote however the F they want, and leave.

Leetic's inactive anyway, and likely won't be killing anyone any time soon... so maybe take out the SK first. It's outside the box, and I'd definitely consider this!
