Night 3 - Fallen Angel


INH stood in the center of his peers, his fellow passengers as he pleaded with them to listen. “Can’t you people see?! This is all apart of the plan! The Federation, Gamma Corp. Theyre all working together!” He makes large gestures was his arms hands to convey the full extent of his worries.

“And how do we know you’re really who you say you are?” someone in the circle asked him.

“For the last time! I am-”

“Dr. Feni Cash, aka Cashkid,” Eugene Gamma says as he enters the room. “Or so you want everyone to think?”

“Eugene, this is outrageous, and you know it! Look at what is happening!? Dont you see this sick, and twisted game for what it is?” INH says to him.

“I’m not sure what you’re talking about? We are handling this as any survivor in a wasteland would. Wasn’t that the intention of The Cleanser?” Eugene shoots back at him.

“You and I both know that the HIVE Corporation and myself had nothing to do with that day. It was Bardindes. It always has been!”

“A fictional character won’t cover your back this time Cashkid. However, seeing as you have the potential to be the man himself. Why dont you reveal the location of the A.R.M. to me? It might just save your life from your peers here who think you to be a murderer.”

INH glares at the notorious CEO. He takes a deep breath and sighs. “Alright, I’ll talk, it’s located-”

The train enters a tunnel and everything is engulfed in darkness for a few brief seconds. A cry sounds throughout the room. And by the time to automatic lights kick in, it appears that someone had silenced INH before he could spill the information.

INH was Dr. Feni “Cashkid” Cash, The Genius:

INH - 3P Angel:
Dr. Cash had always strived to be the best. To follow in his parent's footsteps. He would've never though he would exceed their expectations, exceeding his own even..... He never thought he would be responsible for the end of civilization as the world knew it either. He had known that from the day He appeared at the facility to work as an intern, that there was something not right about Him. Bardindes. That scumbag of a human, destroyed everything the HIVE stood for and forced upon the world a plague, an era of despair, that would take centuries to truly fix. Dr. Cash was lucky enough to escape with his life, and a few faithful associates.

Now, he had boarded this train, unaware of his good friend, Eugene Gamma. Or so he hopes. Cashkid's goal now was to find a way of explaining himself to the world, but more importantly, find and kill Max Bardindes himself.

You are the Angel, a 3rd Party Independent.

On the first night of the game, you must pick a player to protect. If your protected player is ever selected to be killed, you will instead die in their place. You will not activate for lynches. You win if you and/or your protected player is alive by the end of the game.

Eugene felt a small amount of pity for Cashkid. He had been one of his close friends in business. Gamma had even donated to the HIVE’s causes in his earlier years. But time changes everyone. And the contract must be fulfilled.

As the action started to wind down, someone had snagged JJJ's Wallet and shouted anonymously that JJJ is:

You are the Three-Shot Tracker, and are aligned with the Lifelurkers (Town). You win once all threats to the Town have been eliminated. At night you may choose to visit someone and learn who they visited. You may do this three times.

Well, everyone. Knew exactly who JJJ was now. They all eye'd him, knowing full well that he was a passenger. But for how long he would love. Who knows?

Day 4 - Too Slow



Having arrived back in Border Town, the passengers had gone out to walk around and socialize with locals. Eugene Gamma had gone out and purchased a few more alcoholic beverages to add to his dwindling stock and was carrying them back in the big unlabeled jugs that they were sold in. It wasnt wine, but it would do. He set the heavy cargo down at the train dock and checked his watch. He had told everyone to be back by noon since they didnt exactly need to stay here any longer than they needed to. Not to mention there were still HIVE Insurgents aboard his train. “Tsk tsk tsk,” he says to himself. When they had arrived, they were sure to put Dr. Cash to rest in a proper burial, unlike the mass burial they had had the previous day. Eugene also took the liberty of buying cleaning supplies and of course food for everyone.

Checking his clock again, they sun was about right above his head. High Noon. The Passengers began to appear some greeting him, others giving him a curt nod or an ugly glare. Mostly ugly glares.These didnt phase Gamma though, being a man of business he had grown out of worrying about the opinions of others. Outside of glorification that is. There was one straggler coming back to the train. Nutella was walking back to the train station at a leisurely pace, not a care in the world you would think. And certainly not someone that Eugene wouldve expected to have been around murderers for the past couple days.

“Cheerful morning I take it?” Gamma called out to Nutella, with a twinge of annoyance in his voice. They had a schedule to keep and this was really halting progress.

Nutella, about 50 feet away replies, “Oh, a bit. They had some good stuff at that little shop around the corner. Ironic because the town is called Border Town, so you would think that they-”

The sound of a single shot rings out and where nutella was walking jovily one second, a spray of red and an expression of astonishment was at the next. Eugene hits the ground, but nothing else rings out. He quickly retreats to his private room, being sure to bring the booze with him.

The Passengers waited inside anxiously, trying to figure out who, or what had killed nutella. Eugene Gamma enters the train car not a moment later. It had been a couple hours on the tracks again, but he was able to make contact with the local guards at Border Town regarding nutella’s identity

Nutella was Cara O’Niel, the Reporter:

Cara O’Niel, albeit her sweet demeanor, is one slippery culprit. In her early life, she had to live off the streets, making due with what she could find, usually by stealing it. She eventually was caught by the local police and raised in a foster home, and becoming a junior reporter for her local high school. She pursued this life of information, using her childhood skills to aid in digging for information, quickly gaining her a reputation among the news industry. Around the time Circa The Cleanser, Cara had actually begun working a case of interest involving the HIVE Corporation and something called The Federation. It was supposed to be the biggest release of the year. But nature, or in this case, The HIVE, had other plans. This is why she joined the rebel cause, The Vox Populi, in search for the answers to the disaster of 2121.

In retrospect, Cara almost appreciates her early life, learning the skills she had. Now, just to find the baddies, show them the truth, the light.

You are the One-Shot Public Cop and are aligned with the Vox Populi (Town). You win once all threats to the Town have been eliminated. Once during the day, you may choose to learn someone's alignment. At the end of that Day, their alignment will be revealed to the public. You will not be revealed as the one who outed them. You must activate via PM. You cannot use it on yourself. You can only use this after Night One.

Hearing news of another Vox operative taken down, only piles on the onsetting dread of the car. For some however, it lit, or even fueled, their burning desire to find these murderers and bring them to justice.

INH was self-aligned, and his interests were purely his own. It wasn't the best lynch, it wasn't the worst lynch. Most importantly, in the eyes of the Hive team, he was not one of theirs. In that vein it can be treated as a mislynch, particularly during the day prior to INH revealing himself as an LMS independent role. The votes that preceded that claim:

I would appreciate if the four of you would at least briefly state or restate what motivated your INH votes when you placed them.

Dizzy and Quin voted for INH after his claim. It is more difficult to ascertain ulterior motives there as INH provided an obvious motive. I will still each of you though: what made you feel that the vote was still worth making?

I didn't believe INH. He said he made a poor case to give her a degree of NK protection, but I thought it was good. I'm clearly a special kind of idiot.
