Jeffrey fires one last bullet into Paul's body. His hands are shaking, barely able to keep hold of the gun, and his eyes are red and watering.

Raymond still has Aunt Barbara's blood all over him, and a switchblade in his hand. Dorothy's still inside the car, at the wheel, horrified at the grisly display of four dead bodies before her.

Jeffrey quickly whirls around, aiming the gun at Raymond now.

JEFFREY
(through gritted teeth)
Dorothy and I...are leaving. Don't move.

He begins moving towards the car.

RAYMOND
I'm really, really sorry, Fucker, but I'm afraid I can't let you do that.

Raymond starts moving towards Jeffrey.

JEFFREY
(yelling desperately)
Stay back, or I'll shoot! Don't test me!

DOROTHY
Just let us go, Raymond, please.

Jeffrey has one hand on the car door, and the other pointing a gun at Raymond, who is a couple yards away, and still slowly advancing.

RAYMOND

Count of three. Leave, or I shoot.

DOROTHY
Just get in the car, Jeffrey!

Raymond begins to grin.

Lifting the switchblade up, Raymond throws it in the exact same way Jeffrey used to kill Frank.

It lands directly into Jeffrey's chest.

Dorothy...

He collapses to the ground.

Dorothy begins to wail incoherently.

Raymond walks over and pulls the switchblade out of Jeffrey's chest.

He plunges the blade into Jeffrey's head.

Raymond leaves the knife where it is, and climbs inside the car.

He starts the engine and floors it.

I didn't like "Just because" as an answer to my Day 1 question at the time, and looking at the bottom paragraph now is tremendously sirengify. Tiptoes carefully over to the llama scrutiny to ask a question and act all defensively.

Nah, not particularly.

I haven't really seen much reason to suspect anyone yet. As it usually goes on day ones. I'm always wary of Wilgy when he's cryptic like this though. Gonna throw a vote on him just to pick someone (just realized we only have a few hours left and I don't want to miss it)

Not a fan of this Day 1 vote at all either. "I don't know what to do, I see that Wilgy's being his usual self and painting an easy target on his back, so I guess I'll vote for him." I liked none of the Wilgy wagon (sorry for not having much to say at the time). SVS drove the wagon home, and it would not surprise me if she had some help from her teammate here.

I'm sorta tempted to vote for Rico because I'm pretty damn sick of the annoyingness, but Epi's pushing me to reconsider since I don't really think Rico necessarily looks like/is behaving like a baddie. Like, he could be "hiding behind" the singsong bullshit and the no-u pattern, but I don't have a particularly strong reason to think that. But the more he's getting pushed on it and remaining stubborn, the more I'm doubting his innocence... idk. WIFOM and all that jazz. If I can't make up my mind on Rico I might join DH in voting for G-Man -- the points there don't feel like much but it's more than I have on anyone else.

Ooo LC's case on Epi is fascinating. I'm a little hesitant to buy into the "tells" from Mass Effect as he was indeed an independent rather than a mafia, but his response has been largely inadequate imo, especially with regards to the "phoning it in"/narrow focus accusation. I don't understand how that one tiny inconsequential response/request for clarification to me, which I didn't even feel merited a response let alone constituted any expression of suspicion, counts as an original contribution. It seems to be just some confusion on my wording, which for what it's worth I'll answer now since he does appear to be taking it rather seriously: I merely meant, Epi, that your post (about considering whether Rico's behavior actually indicated alignment) caused me to take a step back and reconsider that point/whether I should actually vote for him or not. I suppose "pushing" was not really the best word; I didn't really mean to imply heavy agency on your part (though no doubt there was some intent in your post to have the effect it successfully had on me) or that you were putting pressure on me specifically. I just meant to convey my thought process regarding the Rico situation and how you affected it, but I didn't use the most precise language.

Anyway, putting a vote on Epi for now. Really not getting good vibes from his responses to LC or from all the eye-rolling.

These posts are reflective of a problem I'm seeing throughout nutella's posts right now: she is more passive/less aggressive than I am used to seeing her. There does not seem to be a whole lot of independent case-making. She's reacting a lot to what other people are saying, commenting that she agrees with things or likes theories (or that she is "baffled" by the llama push on Day 1). This has the feel of a scum player whose primary goal is to nudge town players toward certain favorable lynches.

And now that I have caught up a little bit and looked at her posts in full, I feel even less inspired by her responses to my questions yesterday. It still appears that she genuinely failed to list Epi as a POE suspect at a time when she was also accusing him of being caught in a lie. Her refusal to comment on this as I questioned her further just seems like she is avoiding having to explain herself rather than any beneficial strategy. Also, when I first asked her to explain her POE reads he response was "POE is pretty self-explanatory." I thought it was pretty clear that I was asking for substantial reads on players but she, again, avoided answering that.

I owe DH an inspection as well, but I see plenty of stuff in Nutella's posts that compels me to vote for her.

I am going to reread Day zero/one. I felt pretty good about Dizzy, and want to make sure I still do and want to look again at peoples reasons for voting her. Same goes for Nutella. She seems fairly average Nutella who always seems shady but isn't. I was fairly focused on her and her bad partner in the crossover game, and think I have a fairly good feel for her current bad game, and I am not sure I see it here, but I want to take a second look.

She was pretty opportunistic there, and picked up and dropped suspicions regardless of logic.

I am also going to look back over some of the things Wilgy said to me.

Hints at the possibility of suspecting Nutella, but quickly adds a soft defense in the same breath.
