Afraid you're mistaken there, Spot. THis makes me sad, dogs generally like me.
Who do you think is bad? :puppy:
I don't know yet. I think LCs story sounds plausible. My initial reaction to that whole thing was that Dizzy jumped on it too quickly. But her backpedal was done gracefully, and it made her look better to me, not worse. That has pretty much dominated the thread as far as suspicions go. Timmers vote, especially after his, "well it's for the lulz" explanation when that is not what he said last night got my eye a bit, but nothing I am ready to vote based on at this time.

Rico and Wilgy appear to be playing for the troll value. Epi is Epi, but I like his vote for Dizzy better than I like Timmers. I think DH would be more intense if he was bad. Sloonei is more laid back than I am used to seeing him.

Other wise I have not seen enough of anyone else to have a negative opinion. I don't like to "scum hunt" and try to find suspicions just for the sake of finding suspicions. That just always seemed like a hecking ass backwards way to play. When I find something you will be the first to know.

Is this why you suspect me; lack of concrete opinions less than halfway into Day One? Shall I go back in the thread and give you a list of the other people with no concrete opinions?

Now be a good doggo and give me something I can work with.
Mentions him in a batch of player salad, calling him an unlikely suspect. Could be soft defense, but I do not get as much of that vibe here as I did in her 2 Nutella-related posts.

Indeed. Wacky enough that I think I am going to vote for Wilgy at this time. Becasue either what he said to me was true (and it was predicated on him thinking I was a baddie) and if so he was trying to make something bad happen, or it was not true, but I don't see why he would say what he said if it were not true. I could see no benefit to it for him.

If anyone has any info on this, I would like to know what it is.

*Voting Wilgy*
Takes a prompt from DH to cast a vote for Wilgy on Day 1. I don't sense anything sinister here, and if anything the casual, throwaway nature of this exchange looks to me like two players who are not involved in any sort of pairing together. Weak read, but slightly in DH's favor. I may just have tunnel vision turned on.

I got an odd message from him. I am not sure I want to put it out there what he said since it could be helpful to the baddies if it is true. But if it isn't, then I would like to know about it since it would seem to be trap directed at me.

Does anyone know anything about an odd message Wilgy might have sent me? Or did any of you get an odd message from Wilgy?

Seems you got real sure real quick there, SVS.
I am sure. What he told me would happen would benefit the baddies. I think that was pretty obvious? :confused2:
This is the most substantial exchange I can find between the two of them in SVS's posts, and it looks good for DH again. He calls her out on a potential slip up, and her responses looks a little bit uneasy.

Not much. But if we assume LC is indie then we just have you and nutella left to claim now. If the two of you claim then we'll have a contradiction somewhere. So what good does not roleclaiming do?

I just mean, with all these soft claims you had a 50/50 shot to land a role that I wouldn't contradict, and your claim came at a time when LC couldn't be here to contradict, so by virtue of you claiming first, if LC is the role you claimed, you present a problem.

I don't like claiming as a whole, even in open games like this but I'll do it if and when I have to. I don't feel as though I have to yet. Which isn't to say you claimed a role that I am not willing to claim at a later date, it's just to say that I'm not willing to claim right now.

For example, if I said who I was before you said who you were, then as mafia you would know (By virtue of the soft claims and my claim) which town sided role to pick before LC got a word in.

But if you were mafia, you were hardly going to claim Indie or possible recruit. What I'm saying is your answer to the claim question was a given, and holds really no weight.

In an open setup, role claims force a mafia role to claim a town role. The town role then contradicts them, and then we have 2 of the same role claimed. This (theoretically) narrows scum down to those two players.

It's also maybe illegal in this setup?

If Nut somehow knew timmer's role, then she would know that he was only a danger as long as Llama was alive. The kill was expended (if I understand correctly), and then timmer was vanilla afterward. Is this right?

So nut would have little reason to kill timmer IF she only learned of his role just after Llama's death. Not only that, but Llama controlled the kill at that point. Even if nut knew, and if she was teamed with Llama, he may not have listened/been here much. For all we know, mafia peeps have to use the PM system same as us. We don't know much about how they communicate.

I feel like the real question here is: How did Nutella know Timmer's role? It wasn't a tracker or investigative role. I see three possible option with my barely-awake mind.

1. Nut got PM'd by Timmer. Why?
2. Nut is 3P, found Timmer. Communication and role details ensued.
3. Nut is mafia, knew that there was a role that could specifically kill Llama. Somehow narrowed it down, and then didn't manage to make Llama kill Timmer or didn't know quite early enough.

After reviewing the possibilities, I come up with a shrug. None of them make sense. Nutella, how did you know what Timmer was? Or what Epi was not?

So it looks like we find ourselves in a bit of a pickle. Thanks to some clever soft claims (Which no one seems to want to dispute, which makes me think they're legit), battle lines have appeared out of nowhere.

Which is fine by me, since a majority of the game has been rather bland from my point of view. You guys are practically sleep walking over there. So me and mine have an offer for the last mafia (Seems to be Long Con. Thanks for not killing me until Phase 2 fam)

I really want a win here. I'm sure you do as well. Problem is the math doesn't really play out unless we agree to make a big move today. Three votes is 50%, which gives us at least a coin flip. From there we three agree to mutiny and make this little pact official,

The alternative is, of course, being lynched. Lose by a mile or win by an inch.

Oh cool. I completely missed nutella's post.

DH and Nutella are 3P. I'm civ, along with two of LC, Epi, and Sloonei.
3P is offering a deal to scum for mutiny. Together, they can form an unofficial half-majority and stop civs from lynching them. (Unless ties are random.) A solid plan.

BUT FOR ONE THING!

ANYONE can opt into that mutiny for three option, mate. Then the three will be randomly chosen from those that opted in. You better believe that the two remaining civs are gonna jump in on that. The three winners will be decided by luck of the draw.

Are you okay with that?

It is a better plan than "wait to be lynched or night killed" aint it

And if one townie gets into the mutiny and votes "no", mutiny doesn't happen.

Just so you understand your options. It's risky, but as you said, probably worth it.

I believe Long Con is the final mafia since he didn't dispute any of the current claims or soft claims, and since no one really has. And since the mafia didn't kill me yet.

One of you is bad. Might as well come out with it, eh? (Unless DH and Nutella are pulling a fast one)

Oh. Are we still hunting Mafia?

I thought people were coming up with some way to bastardize a legitimate Mafia game with schemes of reeking of random chance.

I don't know what you're talking about Epi. Randomizing 3 winners sounds like the perfect way to end an INH game. :haha:

Making me grumpy isn't one of them.

Let's look at the odds to get to victory for the 3p/mafia

1 - INH makes a tie (assuming the bad guys coordinate and tie the game) a 50/50 lynch option and not a no-lynch.

Odds: ??? Pretty good?

2 - The 50/50 lynch lands on a townie

Odds: 50%. Duh.

3 - The mutiny for three option, selected by the three baddies, is activated. The two townies will opt in, of course.
This means, in order for the mutiny to go through, no townies must be selected.

Odds: 1/(5 choose 2), or 1/10

If everything goes according to plan, there is a 5% chance of this working. Who knows what happens when it goes wrong? Who will betray who?

Ok, I have only read up on this while I was driving. Is this deal good for me? Can you reiterate it? Just got home from a surprise food truck event. I haven't had a chance to refute any claims, DH, I have hardly noticed any in my skim. If you like, you can list everyone's role for me to make it easier on me. I want to win.

Well,

Sloonei says he's TR
Epi said he was (paraphrasing) "Some douche named Mike" before Mike the role got revealed
Speedchuck has been acting like a dog all game so it is safe to say he's the Dog role.

Nutella and I have put our cards on the table RE: Who we are(n't)

Which leaves you, my dude.

If you *are* the last mafia, your best bet is to hop into this deal and roll the dice, otherwise you're fixing to get lynched what with everyone knowing who everyone is, just about.

If you *aren't* the last mafia, fuck it, do it anyway. Be a legend.

I guess what I'm saying is at this stage, whoever the last mafia is has no reason to hide. There's too many bodies in the way of a mafia win. *Unless* we do this mutiny play.

I was thinking we should lynch Epignosis first. I've been pushing for his lynch all game. And he totally tried to steer people away from the S~V~S lynch, on to Sloonei, who is totally a Civ. He seems really bad to me.

What do you think of that, can that be part of this crazy plan?

Why are you pushing a mutiny play DH?

If you want to win, why not just lynch the last friggin mafia member and be done with it?

I seem really bad to you.

How about I told people my role and even included a description and holy shit the role and description are in the game. :omg:

If the above is the route you choose, you are bad, independent, or completely incompetent at figuring me out.

What's your role LC?
