@Speed

One time, my mafia team survived a vote by the skin of our teeth and convinced the town that the almost voted out person was in fact unlynchable. Turned into a route.

I agree. It's a shit mechanic.

Murder is the worst substance. Keep that out of here.
I was going to say the same. But then I thought, what if this poll affects the game? And isn't lynching essentially murder too? Its not like its a trail and we finding someone guilty and sentencing a punishment. I don't what to lose a lynch tomorrow.

Two things:
1. I'm glad we got LC. Several of you, including Jack as we now see it, thought the case on him was really strong. I know this doesn't help anyone else, but if someone just wants to be nice and share with me what was so strong about his case, that would be awesome. I just don't get the theory on his baddiness. I've been trying to learn to read LC for years and if someone could give me a quick overview of why he was voted for, that would be great.
2. Rico, please stop smiling and start helping. If you are civ, for the love of Mafia, help us out. You sitting there acting nutty is doing nothing for us.
Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.

IDK, Rico's given clearer reads than most people. I'll interpret them if I ever get a spare twenty minutes

Feeling good about Sprit as of late too
Did an ISO.

Don't feel quite as strong as I did. Eloh's read depends on Dom's read a lot. I could see one or the other as being LC's teammate. Not both.

Perhaps also TSP, INH, Wilgy, or DF.

I need to do more ISOs probably. And then there's the whole other mafia team. Wouldn't be surprised to see Timmer or Boomslang on there.

Like ricos readslist, even though he continues to tunnel incorrectly on me. I'd probably have to catch every baddie for him to reconsider. I'll just give you a dose of wifom and say - I'd not agree to curse you. It was an irrational decision and I don't like me or my teammates using their powers to be more amusing than effective. At very least I'd argue strenuously against it.

In jacks analysis, the thing that stood out that I hadn't noticed before was lcs attempt to poke holes in tsps attempts to stop looking like Marcus. My guess is that if tsp is bad, he's a politician.

Seriously.

That post restriction is less distracting than his self imposed one.

Remind me to pm you good examples of how to use a curse after the game is over.

A good curse can detain a day or cause a modkill.

Plus, not everyone even played in the Poppy game. It's irrelevant now cause LC knew about it but you needlessly confirm that mafia isn't say, Jack/Tony/Slam.

Null on his own merits.

I'm shit at reading INH. He always dies before I figure him out and seems to be playing with cards close to his vest.

I didn't play in the Poppy game so "INH would have used a Poppy curse" doesn't sway me, at least not without more consensus. (Two, three people weighed in on it?) Is there further reason behind suspicion of him?

I don't think he's w/w with any of the players who voted for him yesterday. I feel you and Tony wanted him dead over LC and Rico hasn't backed off either.

Actually, I wanna say I town read him in ASOUE for hunting an opposing scummer and he turned out to be bad. I thought he was anti town in Blue vs Red but he was pretty over the top on purpose in his neutral role.

I guess what I mean is I don't have a good feel for what INH looks like when he's town/bad.

Fuck it. Let's ISO INH.

So you've never heard of distancing?

Like I said, faker, you're the best at pretending not to understand.

INH ISO complete. He's incredibly noncommittal. Even when asked what his reads are (while implying he's not giving any), INH goes WIFOM on Golden and talks about reads on him from Rico, not his own reads on others.

INH's rainbow of voted players yesterday doesn't make sense to me and for the most part, isn't backed up. What is backed up (Golden read), I disagree with.

Doesn't attempt to get cred on LC lynch. Null look.

I guess I'd put INH at the bottom of the yellows, top of the oranges. There are lots of players providing little content (Boom and Timmer come to mind) but those players are on the edges. INH is in the middle and still refusing to pick sides.

I am not pretending not to understand.

You are just bad at communicating. I took you to mean that I voted INH as a means of saving LC rather than as a deliberate means to remove INH from the game.

I looked at the votes with the alternate view that Long Con was being thrown under the bus. I don't think that happened either. speedchuck voted first, as he did with Made. I don't think Lorab is the type to shell a teammate like that (although I don't know what she meant about ties- I don't recall it being a tie when she voted). sprityo's reasons for voting LC look organic enough. INH voted to save his own ass.

No, Long Con's team stayed on the sidelines.

Epi, for the second time, can you verbalize your stance on me? I asked you yesterday, and you completely brushed me off.

I'd extend that question to everyone who has bandied about my name. Give me a case or some substance to respond to at least.

I think you and your team cursed Ricochet. I know people want to write off the Poppy business, but I came in here at one point to say exactly what Ricochet had already said regarding the curse. Someone who played Blue Velvet is on the cursing team. I sure as hell didn't curse Rico with that nonsense, and Long Con didn't. I think you did. It's that simple. Is it a sexy case? No. But it doesn't have to be sexy to be right.

Protip: Next time pick a curse nobody can link you to. Ask your teammate Jack for suggestions.

So, you think someone who was in BV must be on the cursing team. LC was in Blue Velvet. So was Speedchuck, Wilgy, Timmer, Sprityo, and of course Ricochet.

Assuming that LC wasn't the one who told Faceless Old Lady what to curse Rico with, why does it have to be me and not one of the many other people involved in that game?

Imma gonna ISO Epi.

I'll just keep reposting my own words until people either read them or respond to them.
insertnamehere wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2017 9:53 pm Rico already limited himself this game with his emoji posting style. Adding a posting curse to him reads like a wasted opportunity.

Also it'd be funnier to curse someone who was in the game and got incredibly annoyed by Rico instead of forcing Rico to repeat himself.
insertnamehere wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2017 9:32 pm I think Rico's suspicion of me is idiotic. Here's the sequence of events: Rico does the Poppy gimmick in Blue Velvet Mafia, a game I hosted. The players get annoyed, and Rico gets NK'd. After the game is over, I say with the smug all-knowingness that only mafia hosts can have that Rico was actually more accurate with his baddie hunting than the other players. This game starts. Rico has a new emoji gimmick. I defend him from others due to the similarity of the situation to Blue Velvet. I want to see him present his own opinions before judging him, and analyze his posts in order to do so.

I utterly fail to see why any of that makes me more likely to curse him. And since Rico's limited in his vernacular, I'm not gonna get an explanation any time soon.
insertnamehere wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2017 9:59 pm It feels like I'm being targeted by players who heavily rely on meta for not really having an established meta personality and brand, unlike Epi's stubborness, Wilgy's aloofness, Rico's post-structural take on "gameplay," and Golden's golden-ness.
There's this weird sentiment some people are attempting to spread about my character that I'm more predisposed to curse Rico than other players from Blue Velvet. That's probably the most frustrating part of this to me. If people think this is how I play, come out and say it, don't foreshadow and hint. I'd like to converse instead of being stonewalled.

Ah, they were on different teams. My bad.

One mistake doesn't discount my entire argument. You can either respond, or proceed with smuggery. I'd like to hope you'd do something approaching the former, but I guess I'm an optimist.

Beside the point.

Of the remaining players who played in that game, why is INH the one most likely to use that curse?

Keep in mind that some of us didn't play in Blue Velvet and only know what you and Rico are on about through context clues.

Since LC was clearly bad, explain how you are so sure INH is the curser that you were willing to lynch INH instead of LC?

(Expected response: LC was clearly bad?

Preemptive answer: Yes, which you would know if you'd stop pretending to not understand Golden's case on him. Answer the question.)

I don't think LC would curse someone with that. LC is far more creative.

So now we're just full-on insinuating that I lack creativity compared to others, therefore I must be the one who cursed Rico?

Because I've been having the sinking feeling that's been the underlying sentiment behind this entire thing.

Refuses to lay out his case. Makes getting further details feel like pulling teeth. Accuses anyone who doesn't agree with his unstated logic of being teamed with INH, who, again, is bad for reasons Epi refuses to state. Yet Epi was the one trying to prevent an LC lynch and we know LC is bad.

Not just more likely than LC. More likely than all of them to the point where he should be lynch target priority #1.
