One thing I will say, though? Boomslang is trying to get the town a win. You peeps should trust him I believe. He'll help thin the field of potential baddies.

Unfortunately, last time I checked, I wasn't a lawyer living in New Zealand.
I'm still gonna write a case against you, just out of sheer prickliness.
The sad part is that with the short term memory of some of these people, they'll probably forget it by this time Day 7. If there is a Day 7.

Alrighty, this seems to be the thin-ass reasoning behind why no one but myself and Futurama Wilgy seem to not be considering Rico in any real way.Golden wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2017 8:18 pm Of course rico is bonkers enough, but that doesn't mean he's bad. This is a guy who I seriously contemplated for a while as politician, but it just doesn't fit with the facts.
And it's bullshit.
The Day 3 vote made Tony looks shady as shit, and he seemed like primo lynch material. Rico did take a stand against him, by posting cat emojis, but he was much more loudly against myself and Golden.
In fact, Ricochet and TonyStarkPrime both voted against me on Day 2 and Day 4. Ricochet never voted for TSP a single time.
It's already clear how two baddies from two different teams, Epignosis and TonyStarkPrime, were able to use me as an easy target, with Ricochet being the one driving the train with the false accusation against me.
Rico posted a couple wolfie emojis in response to TSP's posts immediately in the aftermath of Day 2, and the Elo lynch. After that, however, he quickly hopped on the "TSP = Tan Jacket" bandwagon.
Spoiler: show
Here are Ricochet's two proposed Politician teams. Note that TSP is not on either.
Spoiler: show
I utterly fail to see any sort of special attention paid to both the Politician team (outside of quoting every post I make and adding a wolf emoji) or TonyStarkPrime, and Golden's statement absolving Rico doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

I wouldn't even know how to go about making a lick of sense to you, but I'll admit I'm not really trying to. My opinions are based on who I think is in each role, and I'm running out of town roles for speedchuck to be in. I'm not sure you're one to mine the thread for info, but the reason my arguments are perhaps not persuasive is because I'm reading between a lot of lines rather than simply going on what someone puts in the thread.
Rico spent several days in a row claiming a wolf team that wasn't and has used a gimmick which conveniently means he doesn't have to provide an explanation for the motivations or reasons for thinking the way he does. I think it's cheap and dirty and if he's bad and wins this way I'd be very disappointed in him, because it's like a hack. There's plenty of reasons that I could point to for why I could justify a vote for rico.
But I'm not going to try to use any of them because fundamentally I do not believe rico is a politician, and I think it would be a waste of a day lynching him.
I don't know why rico thinks quin is the cat, or is he concerned he targeted the cat? Either way, rico just isn't analysing the game well (and I also think quin will vote speedchuck).

I support a speedchuck lynch. I don't have much of anything to say until we get some more information out of that.

Re: Welcome to Night Vale Mafia [ENDGAME]
Well, listeners, I'm back from the weather, and we have rid Night Vale of beagles and similar mid-sized dogs for good. It was a close call for a while, but a few hours of minimal bloodshed is worth saving our town and entertainment over, isn't it? Let this be a lesson to all of us: just because something looks cute, or innocent, or unbelievably furry and floppy on the outside, does not mean their personality is just as cute, furry, and floppy on the inside. We must choose our friends, pets, and foods wisely.
As for the Intern Relay, I would just like to say that it has been a rousing success this year! It is amazing what our young people are capable of if we just give them a chance, isn't it? Why, without this opportunity for them to show off their perseverance, strength under pressure, and knife-throwing skills, we would never know how close each of these young citizens is to becoming a well-rounded Night Vale adult, ready to face whatever wheat and wheat by-products the world may throw at them. Bravo, interns! Bravo.
I, for one, cannot wait to see what's in store for next year's Relay. I don't know how the next batch will be able to top this year's festivities, but I'm sure they'll be able to take on whatever is thrown at them. Literally.
Stay tuned next for three hours of bloodcurdling screams and adorable kitten videos sent in by our listeners. As always, goodnight, Night Vale. Goodnight.
Intern speedchuck has been lynched. He was the Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives in Your Home.
Congratulations, citizens of Night Vale - DrWilgy, sprityo, Ricochet, INH, nutella, Made, DFaraday, Quin, Golden, Lorab, Dom, Jackofhearts2005, and Boomslang - you have prevailed and saved your town from doom for one more day!

Re: Welcome to Night Vale Mafia [DAY 6]
First of all i want to say i thoroughly enjoyed this game and i cant thank the town players enough for not lynching me early on, i tried my best to do things within the limits of the rules and im glad in the end i could prove useful
the baddies played a tough game, especially the politicians, but in the end it seemed the town had all the right roles in the right place in the end
a good job to speedchuck, who to everyone im sure was playing a very convincing town game up until the very end, and that was on half the effort he could give due to cirumstances

I'm really proud of the overall performance in this game, actually. We all went to tinfoilville with the Cecil flip and it worked out, and we co-operated like a well-oiled machine for the most part. That's how you get an overwhelming town victory, y'all.
