A respectable readlist, but for one exception.

Care to elaborate?
What specifically is respectable about it?

Turnip Head and I assisted the cop (Daisy) in Arrested Development with fake cop claims which resulted in Dais being able to singlehandedly solve the entire game.

Fake claiming isn’t without risks, but I can’t fathom why anyone would argue against it in principle.
I'll have to give it to you. I don't think I've ever seen fake claiming as a civ being used in a good way.

Switched to NewTraditionalist until they post.

I didn't read Kyle's post as that odd or pingy.

I figured MP was messing/flirting with you over that vote Daisy, I'm surprised you're taking it that way.

I've got nothing else to add besides the fact that I think either DDL or LC is bad, but not both. The other baddies are either semi active or inactive I believe. I must be off for the time, but I'll be back tomorrow.

I would not call it the norm for The Syndicate. In fact people are split in it here because culture began in a strict no role claiming no info
Dumping rule set.

I find it difficult to see why you can't at leDy acknowledge there are pros to fake claims from civs. They can and have won games for civilians. But as with any strategy there are risks inherent. I can acknowledgethat. Can you not see the advantages that they provide as well?

I am not telling people to fake role claim. I don't feel the need to tell others how to play. But I am disagreeing with this assertion that fake role claims are bad. And I can both believe fake role claims are good and that people should build cases. There is room for both.

I am entitled to have an opinion; my opinion is that fake role claims and fake night targets/results derail the thread and confuse town efforts needlessly. I don't have to acknowledge benefits that could work with experienced and when everyone else is on board and everything aligns correctly, with like a 5-10% chance of succeeding. I just think there are better ways to generate conversation, as Quin said was most of the point people do it as well as hiding the real cop... There's literally 1001 other ways to do that.

And anyway, like I said, pointless to keep discussing it and wasting time on this. My opinion or your opinion isn't going to sway how someone is determined to play the game. :)

MovingPictures isn't playing as his usual self. I've been town with him in both games we've played together, so this game seems off for him.

There is room for both.
are you saying my opinion is wrong? :ponder:

Post again and felt it was kind of condescending and I didn't intend it as such. I said I didn't feel the need to tell others how to play, all i meant was I was not discussing what we should be doing, just a theory basically. Does that make sense?

When was your last game with him. His playstyle has had a lot of changes in the last few years.

Last month? We played streetfighter together and then I subbed in Jay's game where he was also town.

I’m sorry I haven’t been able to commit fully to this game. I have had RL get in the way and unfortunately I need to get this proposal stuff prepped ASAP. I hate not being current with the deadline so close but I have no choice. I’ll be in when I can.

On the plus side LCD was epic. The weather was horrific though (50F and raining), and my phone despite having a life proof case got water inside which is why I couldn’t type anymore last night.

It's the first rainbow list we've had in this game.
It also had some good townreads on it. I was the one egregious error.

Quin, you're really going to stick to No Lynch?
Probably not. My vote will probably go to a no-poster.
:ponder:
:coffee3:
:suspish:
Quin, while I hate to fight you on this especially after 3 of the mafia in the Seinfeld game were low-posters, isn't there anyone who HAS contributed itt who you feel iffy about? That person, if someone else and someone third agrees with you on, should be lynched before someone who hasn't yet even had a chance to defend themselves. And that person can also make an effort to defend his/herself and change your mind.

I don't like lynching no-posters on Day 1.

hey mister, don't you be using your RL dissertation as an excuse to weasel your way out of our suspicions if you're mafia, mmmmkay? :shifty:

Seriously though, good luck! :omg:

I'm not sure. I've never learned to read MP well. I just spotted a possible misconception that I've seen people make before.
