Yeah, a lot of the hosts here like to experiment. Just roll with it. It's the same game underneath it all.
Though make sure you don't talk about your own role. That rule tripped me up when I first came here. Still does. Same to [mention]Dave[/mention].

Sloonei is town because he's already trying to facilitate true to form.

good opening question because it could lead to information that might favour our poll choices today. seemed obvious.

I don't know why Kyle's opening question merits a town read here. I liked the initial stance from Quin to label the post as a good look for Kyle, but this explanation didn't register on the same level with me. It was an easy question to ask, and not one that I'd give a player too much credit for coming up with. Quin doubling down on it here gives me the heebie jeebies.
Then follows his exchange with Jay wherein he opts not to give serious consideration to Jay's point of view because it's Day 0:

Not really. These are the initial "throw shit at the wall and see what sticks" cases. A suspect nonetheless though.

In response, I point to everything contained in the spoiler above. There's no direct indication of "not caring about" Jay's alignment, but there also is no evidence of an attempt to read Jay in this situation, thus the appearance of not caring about his alignment. His immediate response to Jay is to brush him off and say "I don't think you actually care about this" and declare this action to be unreadable. As a defense, I think it reads as false confidence. As a response to Jay, I think it reads as uncritical. Neither of these are qualities I would assign to town Quin.

It's Day 0 and I'm already compiling a thorough ISO case on a player.

That's an interesting way of looking at it.

I still think Quin is town. I don't think any of this is out of character for Quin. I think Quin trying to get a handle on a JJJ read on day 0 would be more suspicious. I think Quin is contributing in his own way, generating content, and making reads as he sees them.

Your 'double-down' call is unnecessary. Was he supposed to ignore the accusation?

Actually, that idea explains all of this. Quin has not been ignoring the accusations against him. He pushes back to get more responses, calling attention to himself. I believe he is doing this to generate early (relevant) content, which is hard to do in a mafia game. I do not think that responding to every accusation and calling attention to yourself is (ideally) mafia play.

This, to me, is IDGAF Quin. And I read it town.

Quin was asking me about why I hadn't commented on the suspicion against him, 'the only real suspect'. it was a comment on his questjon, since I hadn't really seen much suspicion put towards quin yet it seemed odd that he'd list himself as the top suspect. Odd in a "quin is being a goofball" way.

So far there has been no attempt to justify his read on me. If anything, he's demonstrated an aversion to it. Granted it's only been about a half hour since he stated it, but he was given the chance to explain the read and did not.
