I don't like that he said he trusted sig over RDW on Day 0 drafting, and gave sig the role I drafted for RDW to spite me, I guess...but he's never played with rundontwalk so I won't be too judgy.

I think I know why he felt that way. One needn't even have a read on RDW. To trust sig at all and have no clue about RDW implies that sig is more trusted than RDW. Then when the latter is asking for a killing role, well, it makes sense.

RDW didn't ask for a killing role, he said he doesn't care what role he gets. I suggested it on his behalf.

I mean that the fact that Dunya was the one who was mostly pushing for him to get a killing role and not rdw himself lessened my concern on that issue. I might have used the word "contingent" wrong. basically "rdw is bad Because he tried hard to get the wyvern role" would require w/w dunya and rdw.

Wyvern Knight is maybe the most dangerous role to have in the wrong hands in this game, I could see the mafia going a little out of their way to grab WK or maybe one of the thieves to skew the power balance in their favor.

I figured that was probably why Epignosis gave the wyvern role to sig instead, since rdw seemed like he wanted it and sig wanted cleric or something. Of course that's also kind of a different ball of wax, but I think in general the wyvern is better off with a player who didn't want the role.

No. I asked Wilgy first to give RDW with Wyvern Rider role. Then I asked Epi too. RDW said he didn't care what role he got. I planted it in his head, basically, so he asked Epi for it later.

oh, no that's definitely probable. I'd expect the mafia to take varied approaches to seeking roles. If all of them rushed for the good shit then it'd be super conspicuous but if they all acted super casual about it then they might end up with trash.

there's also the factor that the mafia wouldn't necessarily have to resort to begging to get at least a couple of good roles since they could just give good roles directly to each other and control their team composition that way, without having to beg.
