Because he's someone who other people are naming as a suspect. I've had no firm reason to read him as town, but I also don't have a firm reason to read him as scum.
I'm not catching up like Kyle. I'm not going to. I don't like catching up. It's a waste of time and I prefer to work my way back into games directly with conversation.

I lean Wilgy/speedchuck/inh I think. Wilgy's first role seems bad, and it doesn't sound like we'll get more from him to convince us he's town. Speedchuck has been posting townie, but mechanics > reads (and read over the end of FE if you doubt he can pull that off as mafia). Inh never really addressed the reason for my vote, and I don't know whether the anger is more likely to be townie or mafia.
I plan on doing some isos tomorrow now that I have time, so hopefully that will help me sort through some of this.
playa salad, leaves wilgy in there while providing himself tons of room to avoid committing to the lynch. Also later accuses INH of "distancing from the wilgy lynch" because... INH voted for wilgy. This seems like a convoluted argument from a player who is currently wriggling away from a wilgy vote.
I could see this being baddie behavior, but I am still left asking if anyone would bother to act to save wilgy. This doesn't appear like an active or busy save attempt, but it does seem like a passive resistance to the idea, even though all signs were pointing that way. It's like cbob was treating wilgy as bait to catch scum rather than as scum himself.

i did see someone mention how we havent seen haikus recently, but that could be attributed to saying to not perform the action

Which mafia team isn't paying attention? I don't hate your suggestion though. The only suspects I've promoted have been DDL, Scotty and Sloonei (to a much lesser degree). If they're all good it's an easy distance kill.

DDL is someone I'm fairly indifferent about. I don't have an opinion. He's not someone that I have reason to trust. I will try to read up on him maybe tomorrow. How are you feeling about him currently?

But the big thing that irks me about his play in general? Is he’s very quick to civ read someone, and is much more willing to be eased into reading someone as bad. Marmot was one thing. Then there’s everyone else. He’s definitely felt non commital the last week- he’s explained this for personal reasons, and yet he’s still active in the thread enough to respond to things and give opinions. It’s just that those opinions feel...I dunno...beige?
I’m not actively painting him in a bad light, and still view him as civ, but it’s not a very bright civ star at this juncture
I'm also bothered that Sloonei spent more posts explaining his low activity in this game than every other player combined.
And his activity wasn't even that bad.
One theory could be that he cares a whole lot about his image than he should, because hes bad.
Definition for bastard role is super broad, but it generally enconpasses roles that lie to players, force them to play in ways that feel wrong, or are generally unfair to play against. Id call SVS's and Bob's first roles bastard, as well as those roles from Nutella and LC that make people appear as wrong alignments.
Any role that you don't expect to see in a "balanced" and "competitive"l game, and it's common etiquette for hosts to at least let players know there will be bastard mechanics in the game.
