Explain this bullshit, pls
I’ll explain tomorrow if I’m alive and have longer than 4 minutes.

It was cute accruing votes early, but people like Colin just sitting on me all day is pissing me off

thought #2, this is also true about INH
I think Daisy’s defence of inh goes beyond thread knowledge. I dunno whether I svhould trust it or not but for now I am.

Even if it’s not, I’m not sure if daisy would do that when bad.
I have no information, I am just going on my gut reads about everyone. Strictly my opinions.

Also just because I decided to lolcat a bit, doesn't make me mafia! I'm enjoying myself day 1 while giving content. Master is a crazy fool who should give Siggy socks, instead he's probably going to chop off his head when he's to old to carry a tea platter.

Golden wrote: Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:06 pm Daisy why shouldn’t I vote inh? I still like my vote.

He knows my meta, he knows his past of being unable to read me, but he still goes on a long rant about how things he knows he’s misread about me before make me bad (even though there’s plenty of history that they are just stylistic differences), he votes for me AND blackmails scotty to vote for me all in one post.
this is smug, presumptuous, dismissive nonsense.
Have you ever called my play anything else?
Yes.

You're putting forth this idea that my perspective is permanently warped when it comes to you, and that any opinion I may have on you should be instantly disregarded. You're trying to make all of my concerns about you seem meta-based in an attempt to discredit and lynch me. It's fuckin' scummy, and I'm not gonna disregard my suspicion of you because of one game (where you were an indie serial killer) where I incorrectly suspected you over POE-related shenanigans.

It seems like you perceive this so-called bias only in games where I suspect you, and not in games that we play together where I don't (of which there have been several).
You built the case on that basis. If you want me to perceive it a different way, give a different reason why I’m bad.

Scotty was voicing a large amount of suspicion against Golden without being willing to vote for him. I thought that this was suspicious, and tried to get him to put his money where his mouth is.

It’s as certain as the sun rising. And there’s an irony to it that will be apparent post game.

I’m not a fan of the zeph wagon either but my only alternative was a sig wagon and I didn’t love that either.

I’m back to Quin again... or colin. But it’s probably too late.

what is this in reference to
Inh’s case and vote against me.

He told scotty to vote for me or else he’d vote for him.
didn't realise he did this. this doesn't make sense as a baddie ploy though.
Scotty was voicing a large amount of suspicion against Golden without being willing to vote for him. I thought that this was suspicious, and tried to get him to put his money where his mouth is.
If that's the case then blackmail is the worst term for it. -1 Golden.

But you should know Scotty's voting habits on Day 1. -1 INH.

I am literally and openly last minute saving scotty.

I’m not a fan of the zeph wagon either but my only alternative was a sig wagon and I didn’t love that either.

I’m back to Quin again... or colin. But it’s probably too late.
why does the guy with the best quin reading capabilities have to be the host rn smh

[VOTE: Zephyrus] aubergine
It’s as certain as the sun rising. And there’s an irony to it that will be apparent post game.

@imsertnamehere - scotty had already said he wasn’t voting me, you tried to blackmail him into doing it anyway. How is that town play?
Because I thought it was a fishy action, and I still think it is. I wanted to apply pressure and see what he did.

lap, luna, daisy all have votes.

INH has enough people calling him out to start a wagon there.

Seems like a cheap excuse to switch over.

Is it alignment indicative when Marmot posts WIFOM?
Is it alignment indicative when JaggedJimmyJay spams out the thread?
Is it alignment indicative when MacDougall is antagonistic?

What I'm saying is that there are core elements to a person's mafia gameplay that experienced people should know about and factor into their reads. Yes, these things are context specific, so if that's your argument then I want to hear about it. But Scotty voting an inactive on Day 1 is not alignment indicative in a vacuum and I think you know this.

Retrocausality Mafia - Night 1: Who is your best "write-in" candidate?

#700

Post by speedchuck »

NIGHT 1

Ooop, looks like you already tossed Zephyrus out. Well, no matter. Hope he was that Paradox Police guy. Guess we'll find out if something goes wrong.

Zephyrus HAS VANISHED!

*ahem*

As I wus a fixin' to announce, we are here folks! Where is here? I'll show you!

Observe as I turn, and as the zepplin walls fall away, and... timespace warping, don't you know... and... tada! THe signing of the Bill of Rights!

I see you murmuring. "Did we really go back in time?" "This looks like a nerdy cosplay thing."

Shame on you.

These are genuine poofy white wigs and quill pens.

Image

Yeah, well, these people won't notice you too much unless you start messing with things. Otherwise, time travel would be a mess. How are we supposed to cause precice paradoxes and timelines if the butterfly effect is a thing?

Enough technical jargon. I have one wig and one old pen. Who wants it?

. . .

You did know that we were doing this, right?

. . .

WHY ELSE WOULD YOU GO BACK IN TIME? Someone here is going to sneak up and sign the Bill of Rights, possibly with a secret twist to it or... *drops voice to a whisper* Perhaps you could draw a phallus, if that's not asking too much.

Well, which one of you will it be? Demonstrate some signatures, call in your popularity, do something! We only have a short about of time to decide before the signing is done!

Don't worry. I can yank you out of here the those curmudgeony old U.S. Founders get cantankerous.

Image

It is now NIGHT ONE. You have 24 hours to put in your night actions. Any night actions not submitted may or may not be randomized, depending on the role.

There is a PUBLIC ELECTION tonight. Please elect a single player to recieve the WIG AND PEN. Use the poll as if it were a lynch (and vote tags would be nice).
