Sorry for the railroading of posts y’all. I’m in a car and I’ve got nothing better to do

I’m done for now I think.

I just wish we knew who Zeph was. I’m sure we’ll find out at end of N1?
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather;
not screaming like the people in his car

If you know your meta well enough to use it to defend yourself then what's to say you couldn't use it to trick us into thinking you are civ? I think INH is just focusing on the wrong thing. He is focusing on a shit defense, and letting it blind him to your overall tone and behavior. I don't think INH is bad. I think you guys are civ on civ.

Mac: It's ridiculous and wrong. Do better.
Ah I see you did expand on why you’d vote me over INH.

But here’s the thing: I already made that observation and also agree that civ metas are not a basis for defense. Your gripe with me seems to be that I didn’t vote golden and put my money where my mouth is. I guess. So to call INH civ because he had the same idea I had is harrowing. If I had just voted golden, would you have looked to vote INh over me if you had the option at the time, considering he made all those observations in a large block post later in the day?
Scotty, you didn't just express some vague suspicion, you seemed to be going after Golden, to the point it looked to me like youw ere trying to get him worked up, rather than look for real scum. And then you didn't vote him. No, I would not do that. And I think it is a legitimate reason to suspect you. And I think Colin is civ, sio yeah I'm guessing we're teammates. But I won't know that for sure until the game is over.

Also, I meant to say I ahve no idea what anything I said about INH has anything to do with you. At all. I don't suspect INH because I can understand where he is coming from, I just think he is wrong. I found you suspect because your words didn't line up with your actions. That is suspicious to me.

Shit.

Okay, this may be a little less clear-cut.

Let's throw down the guantlet, why don't we. I'm going to put my vote on Golden for right now. If Scotty votes for Golden as well, I'll keep it where it is. If, by, say 10 minutes before the EOD, (wait, when the fuck is the EOD) Scotty still refuses to vote for Golden, I'll move my vote over to him.
This is blackmail. Not a pressure vote or whatever else you want to call it.

I am literally and openly last minute saving scotty.

I’m not a fan of the zeph wagon either but my only alternative was a sig wagon and I didn’t love that either.

I’m back to Quin again... or colin. But it’s probably too late.
lap, luna, daisy all have votes.

INH has enough people calling him out to start a wagon there.

Seems like a cheap excuse to switch over.
Nah, I’d gone through rationalisation about inh and feel pretty decent about him.

I don’t need a ‘cheap excuse’ to switch over. I’ll switch because I want to with no excuse gladly.

Why is ‘words not lining up with actions’ bad as opposed to weird.

You have a good scum game. Do your words always line up to your actions when you are bad? What about when you’re town?

There should be a motive.

“Your words don’t line up with your actions and I think the reason why is because...”

Otherwise the observation is empty. You find baddie conduct in nefarious motive, not something being odd.

Besides, when I said scotty is 100% town I meant it. If you think I’m town then you should not suspect Scotty either. I have no reason to make this up when I was after him half the day.

Daisy, if inh is just a case of you ‘understanding where he’s coming from’ - explain why the blackmail approach seems town. I think it seems like a way to create a two-person false dilemma where either Scotty or I are bad. I don’t think that looks like town behaviour.

You defended him so vehemently and in the circumstances that felt odd to me.

Colin - I just noticed you said I can say ‘this is my town meta’ all I like and it won’t persuade you because I look different.

I never said that though.

I’m pointing out things that aren’t on my bad meta. I have many town metas. If I only had one, my baddie game would be obvious and fail.

PS I’d have no problem admitting things that are on my baddie meta either :p I let fair points be fair points.

Golden if you can’t see my cig game then just Lynch’s he tomorrow. You’re not getting any flips anyway and at thee d of the game then we can talk. Because I have not done anything that should even be a case. I am town.

I can’t believe you of all people are buying into it.

I’m going to leave the thread for now because this has been an exceedingly frustrating game day for me and I’ve wanted to swear at pretty much everyone here except Colin and Kyle. Read my defense of INH how you want, my gut says it’s civ INH. That’s it. You can continue going on about it, it won’t change it. I’ve been nothing but 100% honest about my thoughts and opinions and all I’ve got to skip for it is a bunch of bullshit accusations. I’m completely baffled by how about 90% of the players in this game are behaving. Whatever.

Daisy, when youve had a chance to breathe out and aren’t feeling so attacked, I’d still like answers to those specific questions.

Golden wrote: Sun Jun 17, 2018 3:11 am There should be a motive.

Look I’m not going after Scotty because you vouched for him. That was enough for me. The reason I’m still discussing what I saw as suspicious is because he’s turning into case against me.

And the worst part is with no flips this is how my whole damn game is going to go. There is no way to show you how fucking wrong you all are.
The thing about Mafia is that we don't have the benefit of knowing who the bad guys are at the start so we have to accuse people until we know more and more often than not will be wrong. Even Lord Mac.

I reckon Zephyrus was lynched on day one by the scum on purpose because his day one lynch caused an event. I have nothing to base this on except extreme paranoia.

-Sig is bad and should have been lynched. His townie tinfoil is absent and replaced by emojis and lelz.
-Golden seems like the town Golden that always gets suspected for being scummy.
-Scotty is a fairly strong town read at this point.
-insertnamehere is different to scum INH who I have recent familiarity with (though he was also distracted in the prior two games he played).
-Lunalee I am gut town reading.
-Quin I have suspicion of.
-nutella I have suspicion of but her play has been less suspect than quin and Sig's.
-Zephyrus is dead? Alive? I am not sure.
-Lapluie I have no read on.
-Turnip Head I have no read on but he voted sig so that's neat.
-Kylemii I have no read on.
-Choutas I have mild suspicion of.
-Coliniscool I am in two minds.
-Spacedaisy's pleas are working on me and I am giving her a town check for now.
-Epignosis I have no idea how to read so why bother pretending that I do. Someone just vig him.

If I had to place it in some sort of order it would be.

-insertnamehere
-Golden
-Scotty
-Spacedaisy
-Lunalee

-Kylemii
-Lapluie
-Zephyrus
-Epignosis
-Turnip Head

-Coliniscool
-Choutas
-nutella
-Quin
-Sig

The ones that are grouped are also in order. I am not seeing anybody as an overwhelming townie here but the INH and Golden reads are meta based and stronger than the other town reads.

Why vote for sig? How can we trust him? What does he offer us?

You or a loved one may be asking yourself this type of question and for questions like that you need answers you can trust. And here at Sig co. (non affiliate with the Sig Campaign for votes) we have a candidate you can trust.

Sigurd has a flawless record of being pro civ, pro town, and pro you, yes you!
Is a known entity who's currently being civ read by Golden and Nutella
Is known for his high quality of reads, posts, and fun
And
Is the perfect person to bridge the gap between the old players of LP and RYM to the newer folks we have coming to TS. Afterall he's a veteran of over 9 mafia sites.

Vote for a player you can trust, vote sig.

Golden wrote: Sun Jun 17, 2018 3:21 am Colin - I just noticed you said I can say ‘this is my town meta’ all I like and it won’t persuade you because I look different.

I never said that though.

I’m pointing out things that aren’t on my bad meta. I have many town metas. If I only had one, my baddie game would be obvious and fail.

PS I’d have no problem admitting things that are on my baddie meta either :p I let fair points be fair points.
I guess my point is that self-meta analysis in any form is not exactly a persuasive argument in my mind. It’s just saying stuff and, if anything, tends to make me think there’s a deliberate attempt to “wear a mask” of the town meta or deny the scum meta. “I’d never do that as scum,” etc., I realize these are things most people say but a lot of the time it’s empty.
