I originally assumed it was just Rico himself controlling the sock, but since it is a role in the game it might be the player. But why not also think of who even *would* post those pieces. Like, juliets wouldn't, right? I think it's either Rico or someone else with funky musical taste like maybe vomps.

yes. I thought from the beginning that it was rico, but I was trying to consider who else it could be since it might make sense for the player to control it, but since I narrowed it down from a combination of people's reactions and music tastes I went back to thinking it was rico. ya dig?

A spooky experience.

In 2013 we were just going into the local cinema when an earthquake hit. At that cinema it felt massive, I’ve lived with earthquakes my entire life, but had never felt one that big or genuinely scary. I thought our city was screwed. We didn’t go to a movie (the whole place had to immediately close anyway), just straight home. Remarkably, nothing had broken at home - we were surprised.

In 2016 we had another earthquake while we were at home. It was another scary one in that it got worse and worse. Easily the two worst I’d felt, but this one didn’t feel as bad as the first. It turned out it was actually far worse. But after that one, the cinema was never able to open again - turns out it wasn’t earthquake safe and that’s why the first one had been so scary. If anyone had been at the cinema for the second one it would have been insane.

But also I’m freaked out by Juliets dream.

I’ve read only four pages so far...

Unfortunately, I forgot day phases were 24 hours until I read Juliets mention it about day 1. I can’t even remember the last time I played a game with 24 hour days, so I haven’t planned myself around it well. I’ll catch up what I can in the morning, but I’m more inclined to stay present in no content as a priority.

For this reason, please quote or link me to things if there’s anything soecific you’d like me to consider.

In those 4 pages I had no bad pings at all but there were some things I liked. 1) Colin’s self-vote - lacked any kind of pretense, feels like the u-pick colin right off the bat and 2) speeds ‘I promise’ with cloud 9 emoji. Both ‘good pinged’ me, so early town reads on both.

Most everything is fluff though and I don’t subscribe to sigs ‘latecomer to spooky story’ theory, but better to have wacky theories than not try anything.

Oh it's just a placeholder. Voting for Marmot is one of my favorite things to do.

I'm actually pretty lost so far Jules. Any ideas?

Wasn't feeling great about my other options (Dom and Nutella), so I voted a low poster.

Is this something he does? I remember him in AG and don’t necessarily feel the same, but I haven’t looked for exact comparisons
I used to Supah-town as scum, but then I rolled like 5 scumgames in a row and got tired.

nutella wrote: Wed Jun 20, 2018 4:39 pm Meh I think you can narrow it down more than that tbh. Ramses also wouldn't say right out that he enjoyed the music as speed, me, Kyle, and vomp have. maybe vomp though lol. I originally assumed it was just Rico himself controlling the sock, but since it is a role in the game it might be the player. But why not also think of who even *would* post those pieces. Like, juliets wouldn't, right? I think it's either Rico or someone else with funky musical taste like maybe vomps.
yes. I thought from the beginning that it was rico, but I was trying to consider who else it could be since it might make sense for the player to control it, but since I narrowed it down from a combination of people's reactions and music tastes I went back to thinking it was rico. ya dig?
No dig. Find a better candidate and maybe I dig.
One of those musics was from the guy who did Dataplex, an album submitted to SAW (Syndicate Album of the Week).

Given that relation, and assuming many of the people in this game would not have stumbled across that somewhat obscure artist, we could narrow things down.

Two options, then:
1. Rico is controlling it, not wanting the music selection to be indicative of any certain player or role-hinting.
2. Rico doesn't care about that, and Ramses is likely someone who has been in the SAW topic.

SAW people in this game, and whether they knew/listened to the dataplex guy that also did a ramsey song thing

rico (Very involved in SAW for most of last year)

nut (liked dataplex)
inh (never commented on Dataplex)
marmot (never commented on Dataplex)

speed (Aint me)
golden (not in here on N1)
colin (came into SAW much after dataplex)

It's probably not nutella, or she wouldn't be pursuing this.
Could be INH or Marmot.
It basically is not the last three.

I think it's just rico.

I dislike her magic bagging at EOD1, and her D1 callouts.

Light scumread there still.

Unfortunately no. I need to ISO some people and see if I see anything from that view. I was thinking maybe there was something I had missed about Marmot but evidently not.

Is that not a term here? Oohh! It's education time!

Magic Bagging:
nutella wrote: Tue Jun 19, 2018 6:13 pm Kanyway I'm busy at work and really can't keep up with the thread through EOD so don't lynch me k I have a good and helpful town role sorry I don't have time to hunt more rn
Verb: The act of taking your supposed town role and using it as leverage without saying what it is.
"You don't want to kill me, I've got something really cool and awesome inside this magic bag. I can't show you what it is, but you wouldn't want to waste it!"

Generally seen as a scumtell, at least in closed setups. In open setups it might be more necessary, but is still a substitute for actual hunting and towny behavior, and is more focused on moving the lynch anywhere (like to Dom, RIP) instead of somewhere specific.

If you've already answered this sorry, but why Speed? He's a town lean for me.
nutella, when reading through your ISO I also wondered why speed. I don't see a post where you answered sig's question but maybe I missed it. If so would you direct me to it and if not, would you answer please?

It occurred to me that, upon reviewing the topic, this might be angleshooting. I've never heard that term before this game.

I'm going to assume this is Rico and GTFO this line of suspicion.
