Hmm I can't decide if I think LC missing the vote is at all alignment indicative. Your other points on him are decent though, like Kyle he needs to get more in the game and give us thoughts.

nutella wrote: Thu Jun 21, 2018 2:52 pm What. That's exactly what scum want to do lol that's my point.
Take a look at my recent scum games. Greece. Fire Emblem. Fellowship of the Ring. Probably even Mortal Kombat.

Now look at my most recent civ games. Buffy. GoC - Pikachu tribe. (Excluding U-Pick, because I was burnt out as heck in that game.)

When did I lead town?
When did I fall back?
When did I post content like a madman?

Look at the post counts. Which players posted more than me (especially in these games, where I survived till near the end of the topic)?
Are any of them present in this game?

I'm not going to try to convince you based on my meta. But you can come to your own conclusions. If your argument is coming from a good place, I don't have time to distrust you. I have hunting to do.

Scotty, Long Con, Lapluie, and Vompatti.

I have little reason not to lynch any of these. Weigh in. I feel like half the game is here, and half of those players are playing.

From what I see of nutella's posts, she is very set on getting speed lynched. And speed is trying very hard in this game, which makes him a threat to town. I don't like that look on nutella. She also seems needlessly concerned with the King Ramses sock puppet account. At this point I don't see a reason to be concerned with a sock puppet account that posts random weird videos. And she's voting Lapluie, who I'm also looking at. So they are probably not team mates.

Lapluie looks like low-hanging fruit to me right now. She had a bit of a slow start, and appears to be struggling to keep up. I don't have reason to think she's not town, and I don't want to lynch her today, but I'll definitely be keeping my eye on her.

In fact, after looking at lapluie's posts, if just makes nutella seem that much more scummy for jumping from speed to lapluie. It's like she realized speed wasn't going down easy, so she found a easier target.

I've weighed in on LC and lap. Give me a few minutes to read Scotty and Vomps and I'll weigh in.

Fractal wrote: Thu Jun 21, 2018 1:47 pm Just gonna mention briefly before I post my readslist that I agree with Speed that we should probably ignore the whole ramses stuff because:

1. It takes effort we can use for scum hunting
2. It's something scum can genuinely put their mind to and look town for it. (unlike scum hunting, since they need to fake it all)

---

@sig
Speed posting ISO reads and trying is freaking me out.
Wondering about 2 things here. Are you worried for the same reason Colin was that he's "super-towning" as scum as someone called it?
You comment in general about what he's doing, but do you have any thoughts about his actual content in his ISOs then? Because if for example I was worried from someone doing a lot of work, my initial reaction would be to actually try to read into the content and determine if it was real or faked. So any thoughts on the things he's actually said?
Yeah that's basically the only reason i'm not Town reading Speed and have him as a lean. Context wise it seems honest and civ minding though so he's not on the table to be lynched today.

I'd be more gung ho about lynching LC if he were here to yell at me for it.

I could at least get something out of that. But then, there are a lot of absent-ish players, and only 3.5 hours left (not all of which I'll be around for).

speedchuck Ok Scotty. I lean civ on Scotty. He went after Colin pretty hard which shows me he is scum hunting (I saw the logic in his Colin argument I just didn't agree that it was all that duplicitous). His vote for lap (which he moved off of to go for Colin) I see as NAI as he has voted for no shows (or maybe low posters) in the last few games I've seen him in on Day 1. There's one thing I haven't seen yet that I associate with his town games but I'm comfortable giving that some time to materialize.

Scotty: He voted Dom, easy vote, switched to lap, even easier, then avoided main wagon and went with a Colin vote since he's going after low posters with weak reasoning, but isn't that what Scotty did with his first two votes? Seems like an odd player to switch to.

I have absolutely no idea how to feel about nutella. I'm probably about as frustrated about it as she is.

Every time I start feeling right about things, Nut either rationalizes or pulls back (as she just may have done) to make me start second-guessing myself.

You're, like, the only suspicious player that's actually around, except for Vompatti and nobody thinks anything about Vomp for some reason.

Would you rather lynch Long Con or Vompatti, if given the options?

speedchuck oh geez, Vomps. I don't get anything out of reading through Vomps. I know he has always played like this but that doesn't help me at all - I don't have any sense of his meta, scum or town. His vote for sig intrigued me because I see sig as town but he couldn't provide a reason so that didn't help me analyze. I am completely at a loss with his recent speed vote - I don't know what he means by you are overenthusiastic. I don't see anything that causes me to lean civ and since I read you as town at the moment I have to GTH read him as light scum. What TH said about him being smarter than all of us rings in my ears so I would really like to hear his rationale for his votes.

Voted for Scotty (Which I accidentally wrote as skittle). Reason: Him going for an easy lynch. :shrug2:
The horror she feels at the deaths of Dom and DDL almost seems fake.
Early post said she "barely said anything that looked sus" when she actually hadn't said ANYTHING, sus or not. IDK. Fruedian error, attributing scum comments to herself?

I accused lapluie of acting more upset about my death than she actually realistically should have been in Mortal Kombat, and it turned out that she is actually just kind of dramatic about death sometimes.

Well, I don't really like to vote for someone who hasn't yet answered queries but I'm afraid I might get tied up and forget to vote so I'm going to vote Long Con for now. We'll see if that sticks after he replies.

haha yes but in the last game you crawled out of the can as mafia and if I hadn't had a peak at c-bob and TH you probably would have won because none of us suspected you! You are dangerous (but I love you anyway).

What about the Vomp?
Hesitant to go after a player I’ve never played with and one that is so unreadable, but on thin ice I guess. I’d rather see them offer up some stuff.

I don't actually know whether this is genuine or not. My last two town games (and my last scum game) have been super undisciplined, so I could see where you are drawing that from.

And my problem with it not being 'genuine' is that, if you are scum, you chose me as someone to lead a train against. Am I really the easy mislynch scum looks for? (Granted, I was lynched first in a few of my games on this site, but still.)

I lean toward this line of suspicion being genuine. Colin was bothered by it too, and he's in my top town ranks.

Nutella's suspicion toward me is her one biggest towny redeeming factor. I want thoughts on this.
If Nutella is scum, i don't think she was trying to necessarily get you lynched by giving that read. She already gave a negative read of you yesterday, so it feels more like a continuation of that than an actual push to lynch.

From what I can see, her D1-read on you it was basically just a hunch, and today she's picked up the reasoning of Colin and sig, that you're "supertowning" as scum.

Or is there any sign of her thinking around these lines yesterday? I don't remember it in that case. I just don't see a clear progression, or that townie spark that often appear when someone is pushing a non-consensus read and feel like people aren't listening. Her reaction now is basically "I didn't even try to lynch him, stop misrepresenting me!". That's exactly my problem though. Her attitude is basically "would be cool if people scumread speedy with me, but that's not probably not gonna happen, that's ok". I'm used to people heating up and trying to convince people they're right, or at the very least to see their viewpoint on it. She's not doing that.

On why Scotty was in my readslist twice. I initially put him together with the people i had nothing on and i wanted to post more, but then i added him to the tier above, because i remembered how he took it up himself that he's kind of just "been around" not doing much. I kind of liked that, even if it isn't much

it's ordered so you can ignore the colors if you want. And the people i needed more from are technically below null since there's been quite a few people who's done towny things, which move the rest down by default, see?

nutella's posts relating to me bother me because they make it seem like she's playing from a viewpoint where she's never played with me before even though we've played together dozens of times, if not thousands.
