I had to go back and look because I wasn't certain why we were so certain it was HHH.

I don't know how the role is written in terms of logistics - but could it be that eddie's power is that he picks a person to steal from and a target and might not know what the actual power is till it goes through? I've seen those types of roles written that way before. I might be willing to chalk it up to a misstep on eddie's part provided we don't see eddie steal hogan's power again.

Yes it does, i don't trust indy roles, i never have, and i never will. they have different motivations than we do, and will stab us in the back if it means survival for them. i think an indy with access to a kill is a dangerous Indy.

i have said this is lots of games where i was a civ, and i will continue to do so. Becasue i believe it to be true.

That doesn't make them your priority if you are civilian.

Well, if you look back, I originally mistook the connection to be with Edge. I wasn't sure about the HHH thing, because he wasn't the only kill fail. But somehow that little Hogan phrase slipped right past me. It seems clear to me that it's the most likely.

I think civvie killers kill for the good of all civvies, i think indy killers kill for themselves. One is in my interest, the other is not.

I do really - and I mostly agree with you. As well you know - as stated above - my proudest mafia moment was double crossing the civs at the end of Heroes mafia (all hail the indi misstress queen

) I tend to be more forgiving and willing to give them a chance than you (my glass being ever "but this time it's going to be different") I've played indi's both ways. Your position is the logical one.

Civilian killers and Indy killers are the same. They kill according to their best interest. Neither have BTSC. THAT'S THE THING.

Bad guys have BTSC. They can kill anyone. Civilian killers and Independent killers have no idea who they are killing, so they just do.

An independent can do more for civilians than a civilian can do.

I feel really weird telling you all this.

i disagree 1,000%. Indys can do incalculable harm if they decide to choose a side, and illogical as it may seem they often make that choice. When i play Indy, i tend to play baddie centric; LT tends to play for the civvies, but more people choose the bad side. I really could not disagree more, and while you are more logical i have played over 100 games in almost 5 years, and I am flabbergasted that you cannot even try to see my point.

Let's be clear. Eddie does NOT have a kill power. If it works the way you say (which it seems you know too much about these stolen powers), why wouldn't the person whose power is being stolen just kill the theif on the off night? It's NOT a continual power as you make it out to be.

Yea. I have to say - I'm with svs here. I always want to give them (indies) a chance because that's *my* nature, but she is right. an indi with access to the ninja's kill is dangerous to keep around. There's no avoiding it. We can try to "make a deal" only to have it ultimately bite us in the ass when he steal the kill again.

So...Eddie killing would NOT have had any effect on his target; his target would still have had use of his kill. If there was no kill, there would be other reasons for that.
