What about the 11 roles with *secrets* ?
What about certain squares that may mess with the info?
What about certain items that may mess with the info?
I guess we should just ignore info then, huh? :kadaj:

Where was this skepticism yesterday? You trusted your own info even after Wilgy flipped town.

Sounds to me like you want to discredit my info cause you don’t want me to lynch your buddies.
This stinks.

sprityo wrote: Tue Dec 11, 2018 2:29 pm So I didn’t read into TH being bad or really read at all, but could someone clear out the possibility for me that TH wasn’t forged into being the trickster upon death?

I never trust flavor posts out of habit (speedchuck and I probably share this) this is a role that can make anyone else they kill reveal as something else. It’s not like I can ask long con “did the trickster for real for real die?”

Linki: very well, I’ll keep that in mind sloon
The answer to your question is that it seems like it would be theoretically possible. If the trickster is bad and killed th and forged it to say th was the trickster and was bad, sure. But... why would they do that? It's interesting that you bring up such a specific question when you have barely participated.
The simplest answer is that a mafia person died. If we make that assumption, we can move forward with analyzing TH and sussing out someone to lynch today. If we get all suspicious that TH only flipped bad, and wasn't really bad, then we don't have a clear path forward for today's lynch. I'd rather assume the simplest scenario that TH was bad, and use that information to move forward.
I like how I pointed at this as Luna's civviest post and now all her recent posts are speculating about secrets and decoys.
This game is full of craziness, and I find it sort of fun to discuss what's going on.

I should probably vote at some point. I want to vote sabie, but her posts are just so calm and civ-like that I'm having doubts even though she was basically scum-firmed by sprityo.

This so-called Sprityo scumslip. I have reasons, provided by my contact, who has joined in the crowd to condemn me, to doubt that the truth is being told. Look into Sprityo's possible ulterior motives.

I highly doubt Sprityo is lying about the crazy old woman and her message. The way the info was shared in multiple ways, makes me trust that it was very likely real. That said, whether what the crazy old woman said was fully or at all true or not remains to be seen. And, either way, that does not clear sprityo.

You, on the other hand, I see no reason to trust. Like, at all.

I think these INH and Sabie votes are silly and too easy.

Sabie's responses to Sprityo's infodump read genuine to me (I disagree with you here LoRab). As Lunalee said she responds calm and civ-like to the Woods Witch statement and that's literally all there is against her. Seen with a Jagged Blade does not mean she is a Jagged Blade. A Woods Witch is a high fantasy trope, their statements and prophecies never literally mean what they say. INH also seems to know what's up.

Anyone have any thoughts on my SVS vote? I know it's hard to make a case against her but I feel she's doing the same as she did to me in that Survivor game on RM a while ago.
I'm changing my vote to Quin who already has 1 vote and has done nothing but post nonsense.

So reading through the posts some people brought up the yin yang thing. How wary should we be of them? And would it behoove us to perhaps figure out who they are if one of them could possibly be recruited by a baddie team?

Anyone have any thoughts on nova appearing all of a sudden out of nowhere day 3?

Funny how you casually forget to mention this small detail until there are 4 votes on you.

I've read better excuses for obvious baddie slips.

Okay so theres not much discussion going on today. I'm leaning on a quin vote. He defended sig who I also think is bad. He changed his vote to wolbre in the first poll and finding out he was civ was like it would have been funny if he was bad though. He votes for epi and I really didnt see any case for that. I haven't really seen much of a case for anything from him so far he also did a lot of distancing in the beginning.
Sometimes life does seem all planned out, like there's no choice in the matter. But that's just an illusion.

I want to know why civilian posts are inherently calm in your mind. Civilians should be flipping tables and swinging whips like Jesus in the temple.

I don't like them. What's your reasoning besides DH not liking a Day 0 poll post (i mean wtf) and my Wilgy vote? If i encounter any of you on a square i'll gladly tell you where i found the Mirror of Truth. Or maybe not as i wouldn't be surprised if the Tranq voters are annoyed Wilgy teammates.
And then kill them?

I see the logic in lynching INH — how can you not? — but I just don’t know if I buy that that’s what he meant, honestly. I post in the thread at least once a game drunk off my rocker as many of you know and I’ve never outted myself while doing it.

It's different.

One thing is INH being drunk and saying something stupid on a whim.

Another is Tranq generally having a suspicious posting style across the whole game that sounds so crazy and weird you have to wonder why would a baddie be trying to post like that.

A single bad post is an accident, 50 bad posts is a trend. Do baddies try to look insane when they are bad, or do they try to look unsuspecting?

I don't have stats but almost every time I said someone was too bad to be bad I was right.

Except for the times where someone told me the person was too bad to be bad, and they were right.

We have this tendency of lynching weirdos in this site for being weirdos. It seldom pays off.
