Also DDL: Wow Tranq has been really shifty but its way too hard to believe he's bad. #2bad2bMafia

Cool and good post by DDL who is totally a civ.

Also I made four posts answering the one you just quoted. To requote it again with "etc" and ignore my replies is very rude.

I stand by my point that Tranq and INH are different.

One could be a civ who is just weird.

One is fucking with us for a purpose that is definitely not a civ one.

Well for one I haven't lynched you. For two you are suspicious not for being indecisive but rather because you are being inconsistent with what you find suspicious.

It kind of is. He suspects one player of being too obvious to be bad. He expects another player of being too obvious not to be bad. Those things don’t align, but I don’t think it needs to reflect a dishonest mindset. I think he’s just responding to two different situations and has come to different conclusions.

I know that DDL tried to explain that he feels like there are differences. There ARE differences. I still fail to see how someone could arrive at a Tranq is civ and INH is lynchable because the differences are not stark enough.

But, DDL got upset so he's probably civ eh.

Wild that these posts were made back to back.
It's different.

One thing is INH being drunk and saying something stupid on a whim.

Another is Tranq generally having a suspicious posting style across the whole game that sounds so crazy and weird you have to wonder why would a baddie be trying to post like that.

A single bad post is an accident, 50 bad posts is a trend. Do baddies try to look insane when they are bad, or do they try to look unsuspecting?
It's not different tho. You're saying sometimes the more obvious answer (a baddie fucked up and outted themselves and their shitposting is just that, shitposting of a baddie) is the correct answer. And then you say "Tranq, who is exhibiting a shitload of baddie behavior, isn't bad because that would be too obvious."

Sometimes, baddies just do really suspicious shit, man.

He has two different approaches for two different suspicious whack posters. There are obvious reasons as to why one would do that in this game.

Tranq is run of the mill slippy civ?

INH is genuinely just being a troll and not helping the civs at all.

OR

Tranq is genuinely a slipped up and caught scum.

INH is genuinely just being a troll and is almost certainly an indie with an esoteric win con.

For someone who has the mindset to find INH lynchable for his behaviour, to not arrive at a scum conclusion for Tranq is teammate indicative.

Especially since he also had his vote on Quin at one point. He's just trying to push the lynch that he thinks is most likely to resolve in a "not Tranq" lynch.

This whole situation reminds me of rundontwalk in the FE game.

He was one of the scummiest people Ive ever seen. Yet he was a civ.

He just liked to act like a shady bastard for fun. Pick fights with people, defend mafia members, tunnel vision, repply everything with OMGUS.

That's the vibe Im gerting from Tranq, albeit Tranq's personality is not that aggressive.

I dont want to repeat the mistake I made with rundontwalk.

Either that or actual jester. Not sure.
This is where I’m at on INH. Tranq has been less willfully bad and I share some of your reservations about lynching him. I still see it as possible that he’s just playing a weird game. I don’t think he’s an awful lynch choice, but he’s comfortably in third place on my list of preferences among our three candidates today.

I dunno man its a mystery, guys. Can't crack it. Is the guy who is voting to save Tranq based on a flimsy double-standard his teammate? Who can say. Lmao.

If I'm wrong about DDL then maybe some time down the line we lynch a civilian because of my hounding.

If you're wrong then maybe we don't end up lynching a mafia.

One of those things results in the civs losing the game and one does not.

Lynching a civilian is the same exact thing as not lynching mafia.

This conversation contributes nothing to the game.

Enough of this lameness.

INH wants votes. That's probably not a good thing for us.

Quin/Tranq either way I am happy.

It absolutely is not.

You can lynch civilians and win. You can't leave Mafia players alive.

hey get this guys, what if you lynched me instead?

What if everything I've been doing so far in this game has been meticulously planned out to benefit the civilian cause, but y'all are messing it up at the 11th hour by being a bunch of indecisive pansies?

duckin' lynch me, you cowards.

I do not suspect DDL. I share many of the same viewpoints he has expressed. I think he’s been a strong voice in the thread from Day 0. I disagree with the suspicion which is being brought against him right now, but I appreciate that it exists. My read is not settled but I’m comfortable with it and not convinced by anythinf that’s being said now.

How confident are we that Tranq is bad?
