Can we get a poll for Mac? I think the same options qualify.

Lynch Colin today and then me tomorrow and then Nova the next day then.

Bonus - He's a consensus townread, and isn't feeling in any danger from Nova his only attacker. Just fueling his cockiness

It's such a distracting play though, it's taking a lot of attention away from the other folks we've been talking about. Seems very brazen if this theory was true.

We've got an hour and a half left, votes ever so slightly leaning toward Colin. I support this lynch, but my mind is far from made up. If anything has any concerns about either of these wagons, or about anything else that's going on, please voice them. This is a pretty crucial lynch.

Bleeding over from yesterday, it would definitely be nova. Seems as much as a complementary team as any of the others we've postulated.

I will eat crow. If you are asking me who my third choice is, I'd have to think about it, especially in that Brave New World. i don't have anyone in yellow range right now, so I'd have to maybe do a read on everyone else. Llama being civ seems a foregone conclusion to a lot of you, but he is a tricksy rabbit worthy of the eye of Sauron too.

Okay so if either luna or nova are not bad, these folks remain: MacDougall, you/Sloonei, juliets, Colin, thellama73

I would say maybe Llama or Juliets would warrant the extra scrutiny. This might be unfair since I know them more personally than the other folks, but I know they are both crafty, artful and can finesse their words in the right circumstance. That said, I still don't really suspect Juliets (or llama YET for that matter), but that's my answer. I think either of them having the capabilities of being a hoodwinker.

Same question for you, Sloonei - would you pick (given that you and I feel very differently about Colin)?

You should at the very least read through the madness that transpired between Mac and nova. it's a meme-heavy, so it shouldn't be too time consuming.

Excluding Nova entirely.

Prime suspects = Luna/Colin
If there is a wolfy that's skating through it be = Llama
Tonwnfolks = Sloonei, Juliets, Mongoose

Sloonei juliets Mongoose do you disagree with any of the aforementioned specifically?

Nothing about Luna’s reads progress organically. They are all over the place and not even in a way that sounds justifiable when she’s grilled on it. That post llama highlighted as contrived was REALLY contrived as well.

If I get lynched because I voted no lynch because I’m busy at work then so be it, but I NEVER want to hear anyone again say I’m trying to outsmart you when I’m really just doing dumb shit by accident.
This sounds exactly like how I felt earlier in the game just for different reasons. It reads genuine to me for that reason. Maybe I'm biased.

I'm still not sold on Mongoose, but she looks better today.

To answer her question and yours, I'd rank everybody like this:

juliets
llama
nova
Mac

Mongoose
Luna
Colin

My beef with colin there is that I don't think we're lynching him because he voted for No Lynch. That's not an accurate representation of the case on him at all.

Lunalee has claimed to be the doublevoter. I presume that in the event of a tie in this game that it's a coinflip. Therefore if we tie the lynch up and Colin gets lynched it doesn't confirm her alignment. If we leave her one vote head of Colin then she will either get lynched and proven to be a liar (outright) or get mislynched in a coinflip and proven to be a civ, or Colin gets lynched.

I am not sure I am weighing up the logic right but I feel like leaving her one vote ahead of Colin has a slightly higher probability of lynching Mafia than any other option right now?

MacDougall Read (or re-read) this please sir for why I have good feels about Colin.
Mongoose wrote: Sat Mar 16, 2019 3:06 pm Overall thoughts before ISO:

* I relate a lot to Colin. I empathized with something earlier he said, and that's been a trend this game. He seems a bit in the weeds (please don't take that the wrong way, Colin) and hasn't quite gotten his sea legs yet. I feel like the possibly frantic worklife he is sorting out right now is bleeding through into the game. It's palpable; I can feel his "mind chatter" (basically when you feel like you have a head full of bees and need a pensieve) bleeding off the page.

I feel bad that he followed me into a No Lynch vote and then stuck there. I feel like I put the idea in his head. I can tell he regrets it, but also thinks he is getting a lot more flack for it than he thinks he deserves (notwithstanding me actually understanding the reasons you all hate this, I don't disagree with him on that).

[I picture Colin at a draconian wooden desk with two tall inboxes full of paper and the phones are constantly ringing. Meanwhile, he is trying to defend himself in mafia].

Anyway, that's why I feel a lot of kinship to him this game.

Now for the ISO:

Day 1 Early: Sounds genuine. Bouncing off of others' thoughts and adding tidbits. Clarifying his statements. Did a player list that was appropriate given the early stage (it was similar to mine in that it had few pings).

Day 1 Later: Self-deprecating humor. Statements about work being ridiculous. Votes No Lynch. Concedes he wasn't as present in Day 1 as he would have liked. States desire to catch up.

Night 1: Does the catching up he said he would do. More bouncing off of others' thoughts, but also some confrontation (dunya). Asking difficult questions from most if not all active players, including me.

Day 2: Responds to flack about the lynch promptly. More of the same activity we saw in Night 1. Makes some jokes. Relates to me. Is self deprecating. Expresses more frustration. Thinks that Luna's confusion over the matrix is not a reason to townclear her, because "no one understands the Matrix". Votes for Luna with some great explanation(s).

Point Against: I suppose this stye could be faked.

Point For: This guy reads civ. It certainly doesn't come across as fakery.

To Nova, Sloonei, Llama, Juliets and Mongoose assuming we successfully lynch Mafia today. Who are the most teammate compatible players for Luna/Colin?

Also is there a chance that they are in fact both the Mafia?

Linki: Thanks Mongoose.

I haven’t looked into teammate compatibility yet. I usually save that for confirmation of one scum. But I have been weighing whether or not luna and colin make sense as partners. I’d look into this during the night.

I often actually solve the game by looking at potential teammate patterns before any scum confirms. I think it's worth trying here. You might find that nobody makes sense as one of their partners for instance.
