I went snooping about our friendly neighborhood poll up there to find DDL teammates in the counterwagons. Then I saw Jack on Luna, and then I remembered Jack doing nothing with DDL, and then I

DDL is lynchable.

I agree with the sentiment, but not with the better suspects I have.

You're the one being dirty kitty again and act dumb.

She's one of the first to voice that opinion of me being town and never vote me or try to throw a shade on me in anyway (she never showed any kind of doubt about it which means she's solid about it). The other either showed doubt or being hesitant to town read me early (several only did near EoD after votes were stacked, got 6 iirc at its highest). Maf has no cop, no way for her to know I'm for sure is town. Each maf has only 3 members, not worth the risk to whiteknight early especially on D1 when it's harder to get solid read. If 1 maf wrongly defend other maf team member, they would get in trouble once that person flips. Too risky to do such thing. Those who did near EoD could in a way get better read if looking from the amount of votes I got and the people on my wagon with their reasoning (or no serious reasoning). She already did since before that, it put her in better light with the amount of risk being higher.

when she can't pinpoint who isn't genuine from people who "townread her", there could be a problem. why make that distinction? she gives luna a "limited" nudge of sincerity, because it didn't explain how she felt about her, only that she was the "most" sincere from those who townread her. what level is "most" though?

What unique methods would need to be used to hunt for this team?

Without a dead member the methods remain general. Any suspicious content which isn't specifically suspicious for its relationship with DDL is applicable. So essentially, I think at least someone ought to approach their hunt with that general mindset as a focus. I want to prevent a total push of the momentum to DDL's team since it is the one for which we have more tools to hunt with.

Another vague theory which I considered earlier today: in a multi-mafia team setup, the capacity for mafia members to hunt might facilitate a unique dynamic -- overdoing it. It's something we see as an accusation often in single-mafia games (and it's usually bunk), but it may be applicable here. I may look for examples of players hunting with rage or fervor even on points that seem frivolous or small. I suspect there's room in the mafioso psychology to encourage extreme authentic hunting for the sake of looking good.

The only one I'm actually reading civ is dunya tho, the other two are whatever.

Jay is just gut because both Jack and dunya look legit in the 3-way argument so I went with my paranoia.

~ "good chance" all are civilian, then...
~ only one "actually reading civ" is dunya

Yeah it looked to me like he changed his mind from "they could all be civ" to "since jack and dunya look town Jay is probably bad" which already doesn't make sense and with only seeing dunya as town as an intermediate step and then including jack later...overall not a good look for jack.
