So far you've been avoiding locking me town when you know how easy it is, you've just vaguely went about describing my meta but not reaching any conclusion based on it.

I will do my digs itt. But.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 10:39 am I'm about 80% sure Jay is scum. Which is a compliment!
I'm totally prepared to dig into Speed, Sloonei and GMan should I be correct. I'm just thinking one thing at a time.
Winning strategy might be lynch a master -> lynch antimonitor -> lynch master -> lynch master.
I'm not worried about the last neutral at all.
Should probably read Dizzy to figure out what role they had. Could make a difference.
I'm also under the impression that Dom had BTSC with both Epi and Dizzy, which should increase the chances of them being town and mostly roughly clear them of being Antimonitor because Antimonitor had no safeclaim as far as I can tell and the bodies are piling up.
@Michelle the more you can post the better. I townread you. I don't want a repeat of Danganronpa where I incorrectly POE you and I really don't want a repeat of Mountainous (which was an amazing game nontheless) or Girl Genius where I give you the benefit of the doubt until it's too late. Ie keep doing what you're doing right now.
I need Jack of the Mountainous who searched all the thread for evidence even if he was wrong in that game.
I also need Ted of that game... who was correct but no one believed him.
I just realised why this happened. Because he didn't show a progression and came suddenly with a logical approach that mafia players are ignoring usually.
Sorry this post has a meaning just for Jack and Ted :-)

I am like 75% sure you are town. I don't want to lynch you. I need your help.
I wanted to read it and every time I started i had a rl thing who stopped me. My every time impression is you are villager. But I need more from you and you were avoiding things and made me paranoid.tedxtr wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 11:38 am It's not really a case in one post it's like scattered suspicion.
And I'm not sure what the snark is about, given you were the one to say you were gonna check out my ISO like 7 times already. Why are you dragging it?
Moreover, if you have that meta knowledge of me, you know you can get a read on me from like the first page of my ISO or so.

I'm super weirded out by this conversation.
I keep going back and forth on whether it looks scripted. I think it's just the familiarity Michelle and Ted have from another game that is making me think that. But man, it's weird.

We played last time on my homesite and lock each other villagers. Scum made implosion. Looks weird from outside, but if I am wrong and you see this you can make another kind of statement which can proove it. The fact you just show disapointment at our familiarity is strange tbh.speedchuck wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 12:20 pm I'm super weirded out by this conversation.

Michelle, since you are asking everyone what they think about my post you must disagree with my opinion. Do you think Jay is the Anti-Monitor? Why? I'm saying if he's bad I think he's on the Master team, not the team with Radish and sig who he voted for.Michelle wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 8:38 amTonyStarkPrimejuliets wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 8:02 amWell, I don't think Jay is anti-monitor because of his vote record so I think he is trying to shade Jay and Nanook as opposed to distancing from Jay.

Yeah I'm not either but [mention]tedxtr[/mention] you say G-Man did scummy things. The scummy thing I remember is he spent time posting oompah loompa posts when he told us he didn't have a lot of time to post and those posts didn't have much content. What else is there? I agree with Michelle that he was helpful in our dream level, though from what Dom and S~V~S said he is dangerous as a player. So help me out here, what else is there on him?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 11:45 amI'm not clearing GMan in the slightest either.tedxtr wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 11:21 am G-man did do scummy things though

I don't even know what you're stringing jimmy for, I do remember his TH interaction being terribad but I wouldn't lynch just on that tbh.

Re: Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Day 7]
I honestly don't know why I have to make a compelling scum case on G-Man because there is none. My point is he's done nothing. Nada. Zero.
There's barely anything for me to point out, the shtick with oompa loompa doompa dippity squeakitty ittsy bitsy thing was horrible as I saw it as his way of dealing with pressure, but my whole point is that there is nothing town about him, and there should be.
I don't know what this is called in psychology, but what you are doing is saying "There's no way JFK was assassinated by a nobody" because he was a nobody. "There's no way G-Man is scum because he hasn't done anything that outs him as scum" is a bad argument to make in general on a slot that has 10 posts and 8 were hidden behind a shtick so I couldn't snipe his scum tone.
It's as simple as there's nothing that makes him town and that's all you're having. It doesn't always have to be "He's scum because...", sometimes the lack of a town agenda or anything that can be identified as town behaviour is enough.
Hiding behind a shtick and deliberately choosing to maintain the idea of him being cursed by not refuting it only when he was in danger of being lynched and he saw the shtick didn't work - is enough of a reason to place him at some sort of scum position.
It's anti-town to hide behind shticks. It's anti-town to not call out that you aren't cursed, just trolling. Him doing it only when he's in danger of being lynched is the scummiest thing I've ever seen. HE LET THE IDEA OF HIM BEING CURSED SKATE BECAUSE PEOPLE WERE TOWN READING IT, and when people had enough of it, he dropped it.

Nobody is saying G-man cannot be scum. You are arguing against imaginary people. Point out one person in this game who is saying "There's no way G-Man is scum because he hasn't done anything that outs him as scum."
You are harping on an easy target. A lot of people are okay with lynching g-man but nobody wants to lynch him right now because there are more compelling fish to fry. Fish that HAVE done scummy things other than a lack of contribution.

But Sloonei, could he be the Anti-Monitor? Remember this?
That was him not voting for Radish.G-Man wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 8:26 pmOkay, I don’t trust Sloonei, so I can’t vote for Radish. I’m not crazy enough to vote for myself (yet). That leaves TH. I don’t have a handle on the case for lynching him, so care to share? There’s too much post-vomit to sift through and I’ve got ironing to do.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 8:18 pm Okay so the fact that I have had 6 unmoved votes on me for the past 2 hours approaching deadline is a pretty solid indication that both scum teams are on my wagon imo.
The fact that Jack/TH/G-Man and Radishes wagons have all had no momentum strongly indicates at least 1, probably more of them are solid wagons.
I am not letting you lynch me today. So figure out where to put your vote that isn't me. This ain't happening.
And then I'm pretty sure N3 at the last minute he jumped from sig to Mac. I'll post that when I find it.
Maybe there's a reason he can't be the Anti-Monitor, please bring it up if there is. I'm reading through him right now.

No. Why are you being so dismissive?
G-man entered at the last moment without a vote. It was three way race between Radishes, Mac, and TH. G-man chose Mac because he didn’t trust me, and my vote was on Radishes at the time.
That’s a tremendously bad look and a clumsy play of G-man is a teammate of Radish. It’s also a completely unnecessary step toward endangering his partner if he’s Mac’s teammate. The mindset he projected in casting his vote against my vote suggested an honest civilian who temporarily forgot we were playing a game with tao mafia teams.

Re: Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Day 7]
So G-Man doesn't put vote tags on when he votes, and unfortunately the Day 3 poll has the end time cut off but my memory is this was close to the end:
and S~V~S's response a little later talking about G-Man's vote (I include this because her pointing out the vote was last minute):
S~V~S wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 9:35 pmI'm just super disappointed at the last minute vote change, I feel like I trusted someone I maybe shouldn't have, and I think we would have learned more from a sig lynch. I am getting lectured and my reads are shit, lol. I was really invested in this lynch and I guess I am just disappointed.

Re: Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Day 7]
Ok I see ted saying he is changing to Jay so I'll stop with the G-Man posts. Sloonei, I will read what you wrote.
I guess we need to resolve Jay this lynch. The people I trust as town are voting for him, I think Dom thought he was bad and we keep talking about it and talking about it. I think we have to get past it to sort the rest out. I can't be the only one thinking he is town - it's too much like what happened with Radish and with Elephant in Inception.

Sloonei, I'll think about this but I didn't see the evidence that he forgot we were playing with two mafia teams. And then the move from sig to Mac at the last minute the next day on top of this just doesn't look good to me. But I will ponder what you're saying.Sloonei wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:23 pmNo. Why are you being so dismissive?

Why does ted’s vote make you want to stop talking about g-man?juliets wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:35 pm Ok I see ted saying he is changing to Jay so I'll stop with the G-Man posts. Sloonei, I will read what you wrote.

Re: Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Day 7]
He voted on the wagon opposite my vote because he did not trust me. That looks like a player’s mafia instincts kicking in: “I suspect Sloonei, therefore I distrust the wagon he is voting on.” It doesn’t make sense in this game, but it is applicable to a normal game. I guess “forgot” is a strong word.juliets wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:39 pmSloonei, I'll think about this but I didn't see the evidence that he forgot we were playing with two mafia teams. The alternative is that he made up a poor excuse because he was under pressure. That is not impossible. I lean in favor of the former.

That's why I said I wish this had happened yesterday. If I am lynched today, the civilian margin for error becomes essentially zero. It's too late to "get past it". A mafioso needs to be lynched immediately and I'm not it.juliets wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:35 pm Ok I see ted saying he is changing to Jay so I'll stop with the G-Man posts. Radish was lynched Day 2, not Mac. If G-Man is Mac's teammate, he doesn't know how Radish will flip. The Mac vote provides distance without actually delivering the lynch, and G-Man is then not held responsible for a possible Radish mislynch -- indeed, he has set the table to blame you instead.
