Turnip Head is town.
Explain your thought process on why TH is town now? I liked your point about him watching and commenting and sitting on a dead wagon. (It may have only been 1 vote off, but it had no momentum.)
He's not lying about having a town read on leetic, and the response of telling me to shove my vote up my ass looked authentic.
I never get a pass for that. :meany:

nothing that I posted before this matters k

Now having said that, Dragomir should be the most obvious civilian in this thread right now.
Would appreciate you making some effort to explain this
Look at what he's doing. He just threw up his hands and said "forget this!" and decided to go back to the beginning and start from scratch. I don't think that's how I'd handle the situation, but there's no way a member of any mafia team anywhere decides to do that. Drago hit the reset button for himself and he's following through with it.

Potential to be scum with Long Con there. Like she doesn't like the gambit and she's begrudgingly using it to turn his gamble into a strong townread.
I'm not sure whether her vote ending up on LC d1 supports this idea or not.

I mean, I don’t think Long Con is mafia in this instance, so I don’t follow this premise to the same conclusion as you regardless.

But also yes, there’s a clear difference. A self-vote in the middle of the day is purely for show. It means nothing in the end. A self-vote that remains in place tells us that self-sacrifice was a legitimate possibility for the player. Or at least it would appear so on the surface.

In a game with role madness, I'm more interested in the end result. Maybe mafia has a doublevoter and they wanted to run a gambit. Even then it's within one vote, but it's different.

Then again, I lynched G-man too, so maybe I'm just expecting optimal play and it's not happening.

This first post is free, fun, and has a lot of unnecessary verbiage. In other words, it's comfortable.

Then LC gets some suspicion and for a while his ISO consists of short, unfun, unresponsive posts like this:
Long Con wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2020 11:52 am

Long Con wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2020 11:45 am
speedchuck wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2020 10:34 am Assassin's creed has people in the modern day going into a matrix-like thing and reliving the lives of assassins of the past to gain skillz.

Maybe nutella and JJJ are like a templar and an assassin from the future and they're in our heads right now, living our lives, making our posts.
I haven't felt like myself lately...
Have you know counters to my points about you?
False dichotomy.
Or this:
Long Con wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2020 2:15 pm
Sloonei wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2020 2:14 pm
leetic wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2020 2:13 pm Has anyone actually tried to defend LC? I'm a bit wary of the growing LC wagon at the moment as D1 wagons with little resistance rarely land on scum.
I didn't even notice that he had votes. Why are you worried about the growth of his wagon? Do you have any particular thoughts on Drago or speedchuck regarding their votes?
Did speedchuck even give a reason?

Did Dragomir even respond to my criticism of his suspicion?
For a full 24 hours of the ISO, LC plays low and quiet and without any ease to his tone. The posts there don't have much to say, either. Only later in the day (after I've thrown some shade) does LC loosen up, and the posts he makes there are a good mech of his style. Reactive, inquisitive, comfortable, content-ful. I'm not quoting the whole ISO, just skim it. There's some good stuff.

Then there's the self-vote.

Maybe 60%? I'm not married to it, but I also think it bears talking about.
Care to explain in the simplest terms possible so we all have it moving forward? The thread is silent, we can put forth any ideas we want.

Epignosis is actually three skeletors in a trench coat.
30% is the self-vote, 30% is his early response to suspicion, and the other 40 percent is the stuff in between. LC is like a sandwich with good filling and moldy bread.

I just don't see how we can go with LC today. Tied votes, especially ones without last minute shuffling, are so often v/v, and LC's self-vote was way too risky to be a scum gambit IMO.

I'm not going to vote LC today. I'll only revisit it if we approach LYLO.

TS is a townread for me until proven otherwise. I've not had a moment where I think 'no way a scum says/does that' but their overall play has looked solid.

I agree about Mac's vote. Anyone else and I'd say that was a very wolfy pop-in, but Mac built up enough cred last round in my eyes that I'm willing to wait for him to come back and play properly.

Having not done any associative reads, I'm going with FG and/or Epi as a starting point.

She personified the que sera sera mentality of the thread last round, which right now is not a good look considering I really think we had v/v(/v?) wagons yesterday.
i guess i can see where you'd think this. i defended the (/v?) wagon though and deferred to mikey about another read. not to mention my voting pattern closer to eod was as dynamic as i coulda made it given i wasn't really present

idk if that helps you at all or if you're just set on voting me, which is cool

To elaborate on why that is my thought:
In a 15 player game with three wolves and no additional KP, mylo can happen as soon as Day 6. With four wolves, lylo happens on Day 4. From a game design perspective, I feel the latter is preferable to the former. The only thing that gives me pause is the knowledge that two players were not rolled into the game, so I do not know if that will affect parity math.

ok yeah i guess wolves could self vote at eod like that but if you do that then you're just bad. and like i don't like to call ppl bad, but like if you do that as a wolf then you deserve it
I've never seen an appeal to hypothetical emotion before.

Or at least, not one quite like this.
You got a read on the funny gal?
Potential to be scum with Long Con there. Like she doesn't like the gambit and she's begrudgingly using it to turn his gamble into a strong townread.
I'm not sure whether her vote ending up on LC d1 supports this idea or not.
uhhh no a me/lc team isn't exactly logical here. first of all i'm town. second of all lc's probably town
