Hmmmm
I thought Lisa was a vegetarian and an animal lover which is why she'd want to "go", not because she's "a child".
Also I agree with Krusty that Lisa would want to investigate, but I'm questioning how much I should really expect players to remain in sock puppet character because I really doubt Otto would take the time to write something other than a guitar solo.

So, like totally just yeah man.

Totes, was thinking as much to myself when I wrote the post.
Kinda disappointed it wasn't different player to point out that bit of contradiction because coming from you I see it as a bit defensive/passive aggressive, whereas from a different player it might help me with my reads.

Kinda getting the feeling pretty much all the posters so far are town. Maybe one or two maf between Allison, Grumple and Flanders with the bulk of the bad guys laying low hoping for town to destroy itself
Looking at Skinner, Burns, Milhouse and Hugh Jazz.
So yes, I've named half the fucking roster, need more players to post to start narrowing down from that pool.

Okay, slightly out of character post because I couldn't think of a good way to stay in character while writing this.

Lisa's probably my strongest townread right now. (And not just because she's my best friend.) I've got good feelings about Comic Book Guy and Marge. I would probably townread Otto more if I didn't suspect he was Nanook, in which case this entrance is probably totally NAI for him.

In the sense that experienced maf wouldn't omgus without a solid narrative to back it up? Sure.

Oh, so you aren't nanook. Given that I thought you were though, the two of you seem like you'd click together. And I actually think OMGUS is town indicative because town is more likely to feel indignant about being wrongly voted and/or suspect that they're being falsely accused by mafia. Scum is like, "well, they caught me, how can I get them off my back?". Obviously it's not a super strong read since it's so easy to fake OMGUS/indignation, but in a vacuum it's slightly townie and nothing I'd scumread someone off.

I posted that before reading that Comic Book Guy was just fishing for reactions though.

I like bait votes.
CBG and Krusty both seemed like decent odds at town, was hoping for a wolfy entrance vote from one of the slank.

The "both of you are town" is nai for me. Easy post to write as maf, and not a call I'm comfortable making so early on.

Bart's posts strike me as posts for the sake of posting. It's all fluff and his tone isn't a great look but at least he's been somewhat active.

Quite a few people have made this kind of "pop in, say something in character, pop out" post. I think it's just part and parcel of the game's theme that encourages people to do that at the start. It's wolfy if he keeps doing it and doesn't contribute to the game.

Otto Mann, it was more of the context and timing of the post that made me like it. I'm a little confused about your read on Bart. You criticize his posts for having bad tone and being fluffy, but you're null on him overall, just because he has a lot of those (bad) posts? Why?

Nope

My votes on him, Krusty.
Think Marge went there too.

Actually I want to know why Krusty thought Skinner's pop in was wolfy over, like, Homer's or Grumple's.

Because it's not something I noticed until you called it into question and I reread his posts. Was townleaning Bart and a few others simply because they were posting, so he was demoted if it makes you feel better about your work so far.

For myself, it's the pop in & the lack of follow up posting actually playing the game, given that there's certainly been gameplay to get involved with.

Feeling the same way with Burns saying his acct was messed up.

I lumped Burns, Skinner, Milhouse and Hugh Jass as the slanking mafia earlier then boom, both Skinner and Burns pop in with excuse posts.

Oh, I didn't see it that way. I thought it was a reference to the Steamed Hams scene, not an excuse for not posting.

I'm feeling good about Otto and slightly better about Krusty (and I was already a little better than null on him). I'm taking "coming into the thread purely to make Simpsons references" as a null behavior right now, because a lot of people have done that. I think I like Burns' excuse more than Skinner's - having account issues is something that is very rare for mafia members to lie about, especially in a game as chill and laidback as this one.

Milhouse and Hugh are the last remaining zero posters, right?
