You are taking issue with the entire concept of meta here and you are also making meta sound like a negative thing by describing it as "putting people in little boxes". This is, again, what I scumread you for yesterday.
It is easier for me to read a game assuming that what I know to be true of people is true. Otherwise I have to factor in every possible variation to their behaviour when reading them, which renders the entire process of solving someone impossible.
Rather than attacking the entire concept of using meta to read someone, you could have just as easily pointed out that in fact you have pushed and caught nut so I could correct what I thought I knew which is now demonstrably incorrect.
it is irritating to be placed in an incorrectly labelled box, but putting people inside labelled boxes and then relabelling them when you receive greater information is in fact optimal town play.

Because I feel like a bunch of people have, like given a read on Tutuu, and it seems to involve her interactions with you (and Nutella to a degree?). Like, it just feels like people have reacted more to you two + Nutella readwise than anything else that has happened so far. That's just my perspective though.
