Anything specific you want to know?

Lands will give a player 1 mana of the specified kind. Giving mana is a day action, and gives the player mana to use at night. The action of who gets the mana will be locked in 12 hours pre-EoD. All mana is lost at the start of each day. Mafia has an artifact which will do 4 damage to a targeted played for every mana they were given from a different player.

A kicker is an additional cost which can optionally be paid to give you an additional effect on top of the cards normal effect. The gray circle with a number inside of it indicates ANY kind of mana can be used, and the number is how much mana is required. A gray circle with a tilted square inside means SPECIFICALLY colorless mana. Tapping is basically activating; it has the same meaning of just using the ability.

Also, tapping will not destroy anything, unless specified otherwise in the card text.

At the start of each day phase, everything is untapped. Tapping is activating land. You can use each land once a day phase, like if it were a normal ability. Untapping, then, is just terminology to say you are then able to activate the land again.

life and mana are separate resources, as are lands

lands have to be tapped to get mana which is something i don't totally understand

mafia has a factional kill that does 10 damage and costs mana for them. the mana cost reduces as they get yote, they can also deal 4x damage of recieved mana (which i think unfortunately counters jack's strategy?) this also costs them mana, it seems generally a bad idea to discuss how we will be sending our energies.

everything costs mana but getting mana is a point of confusion still, involves tapping lands. review this

exiling is yeeting with no role reveal. normally when yeeted, all info is revealed, planeswalker, land cards, and artifacts

mafia are also able to pay life (or 2 energy?) to either reveal the current life to all living wolves, this is the only way to find out someone's life total (it's a tutuu promis) if a player takes damage they do NOT know about it.

5 posts per day required this is not anything to do with MtG i just think it's interesting

so for example let's pretend i am *googles* uhhhhh Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, one of the hot vampires from MtG, and i have an ability that uses uh... .fuckin.... the spooky skull energy and whatever the red one is, and a kicker that requires some additional energy

if my lands are spooky skull place and red place, i wouldn't necessarily need to interact with the trading mechanic unless i want to use the kicker

Just call all colors by their color. That's their literal name

Blue
Black
White
Green
Red

Anyways, yes, you would be able to use the normal effect, but would need more mana to spend it on the additional effect of the kicker, if you wanted the kickers effect

We elect a leader, obvs me since I started the town core and prolly played Magic before everyone but God.


I shall, as a benevolent dictator, assign judgement on what players present for either town or scum points: eg Marmot says Nicol is town cuz of X. I decree it to be true, and assing 1 town point to Nicol. Same for scum points. Both points are measured independently.

Player with the most scum points gets lynched. In the event of a tie, player with most town points lives.


Somebody else has to keep track of my decrees tho, cuz I'm busy.
