That’s right ladies and gentleman! For this game I’ll be using the wheel decide for my reads! I’ll spin the wheel to determine my results.
During Day 1 (that’s today) I’ll be putting 11 Null Town, 7 Lean Town, 5 Town, 2 Lock Town, 9 Null Scum, 5 Lean Scum, 3 Scum and 1 Lock Scum as options in the wheel and spin it for every player in the game!
Then for the next days I’ll be spinning to see if I should change my reads. “Yes” means I do and “No” means I don’t change it.
If it is “Yes” I’ll be doing Up 1, Up 2, Up 3, Down 1, Down 2, Down 3 to determine the next new read change.
If it’s already Lock Scum/Town I’ll remove the
Up/Down which ever it is and add a “4” to it.

Once I’m free I’ll start doing the reads!

I disagree with Alison’s interpretation of the set-up (why make it the same shrine at all if they’re individually different to each of us?)

It seems fairly obvious to me from the way the OP is worded that there will be roles that do things like "protect everyone that visits a certain shrine" or "track someone who visited the same shrine as you".

It’s far more dangerous to town lock someone early than it is to sus. That’s how town gets shazammed by a towny mafia

Well, presuming that you are town getting bumrushed by tunnelers before the day even gets started is definitely bad for your victory conditions (if you really get hard tunneled that will give the wolves every opportunity to just luff through day one), where a poor town read probably won't hurt you for several days at least.

Meh. I’m used to being a target early because I’m manic. Doesn’t mean I can’t get stuff done. I like discussion. I’m the guy that brings frisbees, whiffle balls and monopoly to the football game in case spectators get bored.

Fair. But it is true that an early "town core" isn't an immediate tragedy, especially since if me, Mac, and Alison are all alive going through the midgame I can pretty well guarantee that the kumbaya hold hands and dance together bit will meet a messy end of tinfoil and tribulations unless we have just slaughtered wolves right left and center to prove to each other that we are on the straight and narrow path. Townreads legit don't do any harm unless they carry to late game.

Town read = / = town lock

Strawhenge got early town locked so hard in Fallout that a red check on him during endgame got completely ignored, and then he won for his wolf team.
