obvious misinterpretation of the setup mechanics, but in a towny way? obviously you could argue scum coming in and trying to willfully argue for incorrect strategy but i would expect they would expect to have someone call them out on their incorrect reading of the rules, so such an endeavor is pointless, whereas more likely he thought this was a potential way to win the game for town

I went back and checked the Falcon read, and I gave him a town lean first then u came in also with a townread and expanded on my “idk falcon but this feels town” feel I got from Falcon. So really we got there together.

If wolves can't kill cop, wouldn't it be better to not exile the cop and earn some results that could be potentially helpful? If we're wrong N1 we're only 1/3 into losing and a cop inno could be pretty useful for future exiles.

Actually yeah this. If we can be reasonably confident that the person who is cleared was not targeted by a frame (which works for D1) then I think this is optimal.

The thing regarding me is indeed personality indicative (well, it mostly comes when I don't know many people because my tone of writing tends to be a bit harsher than I'd like but w/e).

I'm actually a pretty active player on MU currently so I have a lot of meta for being overly polite / overly confident in early reads / solving via going "if I were a wolf" as town anyway.

It's not impossible. Like for example right now i'm seemed suspicious because of my question. What we can analyze is how people react to it. Who thinks i'm wolf, and who thinks i'm town? What's their reaction? Stuff like that.

My reading comprehension is sometimes hit or miss lol.

I interpreted that you were saying it was wolfy because you interpreted it as it being something like a purposeful mention by cat to either soft lost wolf or to nudge other lost wolves into trying to communicate and/or being wary of getting spotted (even if they didn't realise it was a post from a lost wolf).

What I'm trying to say here is that I think the post is wolfy but for a slightly different reason actually looking at it again. I think a lost wolf comes into the thread with thoughts about teammates on their mind (communicating with / finding / etc) and I think that it's >rand likely for a lost wolf to unconsciously bring up the topic of communication between lost wolves in this way because it's something already on their mind coming into the thread (and therefore making them more likely to mention it). So a small TMI slip pretty much as opposed to a purposeful soft.

That's the difference I was trying to suggest, at least.

Yeah I agree with what Wisdom pointed out about Creature also. There are some posts there that are really awkward (on the topic of finding lost wolves particularly) and I can see them as LW softs too.

I think what's wolfy is being scared of talking about traitor. The thread is controlled by fools. If you don't know what to look for what are you going to do? I've seen multiple people complain that they don't know how they will solve the game already.

Aight, I planned to read everything and then comment but I must comment.

1. It's not like Mech talk is bad and not appreciated in a game like this where some new mechs are there and we should talk about it, but the whole Miss / turtle conversation had at least one person who had irked me, seemed like pushing too much and their moto in the game is the exile. I cannot pin point who though or for what reasons, but when I read it altogether it just gave me a vibe. Both of them went hard on exiles from the very start which I was not exactly expecting tbh.

2. I have no idea what's going on with exile, I asked it thrice now, no replies but I'll try to re-re-read the opening post.

3. Mac's continuous cop claim is something I would believe in atm.

4. I saw them mentioning "lost wolves" and no nk, now that's interesting and might actually be easier for town to win as a whole but hard to pinpoint the wolves. At least it would be hard to find them through the buddy tales and all.
