Like I'm having a hard time here telling if you're being good here or not. At first I read that "I was amazingly towny" assertion to be good tone but now I feel like you're trying to dig into it and frame your whole red-check-turned-false & self-vote play as favorable as it can be for you to make up for things you did not think of at first, such as not really naming who you think is suspicious for pushing you on d2 when you've said you thought wolves were taking advantage of you.

It really feels suspicious to me and makes me wonder if you just happened to flip what you did.

This is not the Martin I'm used to. The town Martin has a good grasp of game theory, makes super linear plays and constantly overthinks and second questions himself even when he is sure. This Martin enters the game and immediately tunnels a flipped + resurrected town off one line of text.

Any thoughts on why you didn't get souped, if you softed? Do you think the soupkill is fake?

I think the soup that was posted was fake. I don't think scum would submit that many names knowing their guesses would be outted to the thread if they failed, and without proper claims at that. I do think mafia has a soup kill, but none of their attempts have been successful as no one has claimed to my knowledge.

I don't think my soft was like, that obvious, and most people probably didn't interpreted it as a soft. in fact idk if it counts as a soft really

I was Mystery Player, I knew my posts sucked to start and when SPF voted me I agreed my posts sucked, and I knew that I'd be obvious town to SPF because I know that she's good.

This game I feel like my posts have been fine. So seeing votes on me has me questioning why the hell I'm being voted and people are trying to bring attention to me when I'm towny.

Also the other thing is that I'm trying to figure out how or why she's pushing me. Lately I've been tunneling town players for sus'ing me super early in games for no reason. So I don't want to make that same mistake here.

Well, if you don't townread her, I'd say her reasons for trying to get you killed would be obvious (if you're town).

Could be a biproduct of him actually getting his way for once (see: mansnicks going over), but it's still just flat throughout and this guy's a rage machine

Like when people normally even indirectly challenge his reads he blows up at them and insists they're either dumb or scum for thinking so
Here his early read on mansnicks gets challenged and all he's worried about defending is people's perceptions of him off of it and not much of the read itself
I wouldn't expect him to take a passive approach to his top wolf as town, even if their death was telegraphed

You stuck out after I read the various vote-counts and saw that you self-voted. That's not hyper-focusing you, especially since I just replaced in and am investigating things I think are worthwhile for me to look into rather than aimlessly reading the game to "catch up".

I hardly see self-votes justified, and so I asked about it. You gave some context, and then I responded with some differences but a final note saying I feel like you were probably genuine here.

But then you decided to re-hash most if not everything you said to me about it as if you're trying to really hammer this viewpoint of yours in, and specifying how you took something away from the wolves, and then add that you're the likeliest night-kill target.

There is no reason to "why" me here for questioning a person who thinks they're the night-kill when they obviously aren't. Especially since you, yourself, claimed to have lost your powers after ressurection. If you're that interested in being seen as the night-kill why claim you were vanillaized? I mean, why would anybody want to press that they're the night-kill?

Because I believe (and have believed before this game) its reasonably rare for both of you guys to be alive together for long unless something's wrong with one or both of you

for example: why soup-kill both of you? Why not try to kill Mac in an earlier night if they're concerned about both of you to rush a 4-person soup kill by day 3 which could cost them a night-kill?

I mean, I figure you guys probably know each other more than anyone else knows each other here simply because of that one Space Invaders game where both of you were mafia (which was one of the most significant mafia wins here a year ago). Heck, the discord for that game IIRC got nuked there because someone didn't want more people knowing about something there. I have no clue what that is, but I tend to believe both you and Mac have unique dynamics between you two.
