Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 11
The key here is Metalmarsh. Whether you believe he was recruited by the recruiter or the Master (I'm leaning the latter, given MM's rezz posts), we WAS recruited. The player who recruited him had the chance to save him.
Interestingly Roxy did vote Epignosis and may have tried to save her fellow recruit.
He is the way we have to vote today if we still want to win this game. Lynching a cyberman won't help us. Please, vote Dom!
Interestingly Roxy did vote Epignosis and may have tried to save her fellow recruit.
Dom is the only player I believe voted to save MM. I believe he's the Master, but he could easily be the recruiter. Let's look at Roxy's lynch:Epignosis 2.0 - 7 votes
Roxy (9), S~V~S (10), Chris (11), Dom (12), Long Con (14), Bass_the_Clever (19), Metalmarsh89 (22)
MetalMarsh - 7 votes
MovingPictures07 (7), DFaraday (8), juliets (13), Epignosis (16), Snow Dog (17), Elohcin (20), Hedgeowl (21)
Now, Roxy gained an easy majority. Only Chris and DFraday took the other votes that day. Dom was one of the other votes, the first vote out of living players.Chris - 3 votes
Dom (7), sabie12 (8), DFaraday (14)
DFaraday - 2 votes
keys56000000000 (18), Hedgeowl (21)
Roxy - 9 votes
MovingPictures07 (10), Epignosis (11), Chris (12), Turnip Head (15), nijuukyugou (16), Snow Dog (17), Black Rock (19), Elohcin (22), Long Con (23)
He is the way we have to vote today if we still want to win this game. Lynching a cyberman won't help us. Please, vote Dom!

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 11
Yikes, I'm not sure what to do here. I could honestly still see scenarios where Blooper, DF, and Dom are The Master... and I suppose any of them could be the recruiter too, but I still think the recruiter is probably dead.
Going to mull on options and try to sort through to make an informed vote tonight. Until then, I'll be busy continuing to multitask stuff.

MP, vote Dom plz. I'm right on this one, I can feel it.
Both of them were recruited. MM could have been recruited by the Master, but the fact you voted against lynching both of them means you could be the recruiter. I think you are the Master, however.Dom wrote:What even is your argument about the Roxy lynch?

And me making a link while I'm quoting someone is easy enough. But when I'm reading someone else's post with a quote, I have no way of knowing where that original is.

You could be either, as we don't know who recruited MM. You have brought nothing to the table since MM's rezz. You're in stealth mode. Those lynches are telling.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 11
OK, we have already spread the vote out too far. We have Faraday, Dom, Hedge, Ninjajujube & Snowy.
The two I feel strongest about are Faraday & Ninju. Not sure I buy the Ood-ity~ it seemed too convenient to me. And Ninju sounds totally insincere to me. So I am leaning towards a Ninju vote, but will be around for a few hours. I am very, very leery of this lynch. It can all go to hell really fast with this spread. And the case makers, including people I trust, for the most part, seems very very sure about their beliefs. I am not so sure, and really don't want to make a mistake.

Something feels very wrong about all of this...
Linki @ keys: I agree
I also want address something DF said earlier, in regards to my thinking Dom could be Cyber. You said that he voted for three Cybers in a row, but if you remember, that vote for Sabie came very begrudgingly, and late, after a vast majority had already voted for Sabie.
With how obvious they were with their voting, if I was their teammate, I'd be first in line to vote them. Which is exactly what Dom did with Bass.
rabbit taught me a valuable baddie lesson one time when I was a baddie with him, and I fucked up something in the thread. He immediately voted me and made a case on why I was bad.
Nice guy, eh?

How many people missed that vote?
And I am not so sure about that; being the role he was, I still think it possible that he had joined with the Master and that the way it was worded was the best way to convey that, and remain ambiguous. When i first said, "Hey, we don't know who recruited him", i got spanked for it, and told to read the Masters role. When we learned there was a separate recruiting role (presumably) only then did people stop thinking MM was recruited by the Master.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 11
I agree that there are some compelling cases out there but zeek's case and his zealousness plus my own gut feel are leading me to vote for Dom. Another smaller thing that I caught in Dom's posting while defending himself was the notion that if he were the master he would have helped fill in the master's secrets during the decoding since he would have known the secrets. I know his argument is wifom thus my comment is too but I would think it would be just the opposite. If you help make the secret whole it seems to me you would be more suspicious, if anything. I just found that POV odd. Anyway, I think this is the right vote so I'm voting now and like keys said keeping my fingers crossed -
*vote Dom
*also chris I see how you could be right and dom be a cyber but I'm banking on him being the master or the recruiter.

I would have agreed with you if I could. I don't think whoever recruited MM would have missed the vote. There was no telling he'd be lynched even after the poll closed. I'm of the mind that MM was with the Master and Dom fits the bill.

No worries. I got over it. The point was, though, that originally, no one had any problems thinking that Lucy & the Master had gotten together. Then based on wording, which can be tricksy, when we found there may be an actual recruiter, suddenly no one thought that anymore.Epignosis wrote:I wasn't trying to spank anyone.S~V~S wrote:See?Epignosis wrote:Read the roles. I'm not a noob. I've found a lot of baddies leading lynches in mid-to-endgame in the past. You don't like my case, fine.
It's really funny that you think it's based on nothing, because your cases have had far less substance. The voting is there, which you've based your cases on before. It worries me you're trying to discredit that.
