My point is I'm simply not a noob. This ain't my first dance. I'm good at finding them later in the game.

I've given you the benefit of the doubt before but all you've given me here is a put down. Ranting and raving is not the same as trying to drum up support.

You're worried I have info? And yet you're not voting Dom? Make your mind up.

Also, I could meaninglessly analyse every vote of Dom's and you'd still be able to argue the toss. Guess what? The only votes that even matter are the MM and Roxy ones. The Master or recruiter can't be traced from any other day.

Lol... I won't be strong armed into a vote zeek...

I may or may not vote for Dom. But I am going to stay curious how you knew he was bad. Not think he's bad... you know he's something, and I don't think you got there just from thread info.

What's wrong is, I don't think zeek would go after Dom this hard without knowing he was right.

But my problem is witg how zeek knows this. His case is based on basically nothing. All he's been doing is ranting and raving, trying to get anyone to vote for Dom.

This all just seems like a noob role checker who just checked his first baddie...
Haha, that's so funny coming from you. I disagree that Zeek's case is based on nothing. His interpretation of the votes seems solid and reasonable to me.
His interpretation of the votes?

One day of votes. He analyzed day 6, and noted that Dom didn't vote for MM.

OH SHIT!!! HE'S RIGHT!!! DOM DIDN'T VOTE FOR MM!!! DOM IS THE MASTER!!!

Like I said, I'm convinced that zeek is right. My concern is how is he right...
You are such a joker, Chris. Zeek mentions two polls, not one, and it's a fair point that he makes; Dom's an unknown that doesn't vote for the lynched recruits. It's not enough for me to vote for Dom right now, especially considering I liked his response, but it is more reasonable than 95% of what you've brought to the table this game. Hilariously, you think Zeek is right, but your interest is how he knows, yet again you are paranoid as fuck. You're like a clown on PCP or something.

Let's look at Zeek's vote evidence on Dom.

When Dom vote's Epignosis instead of MM, MM only has two votes.

When Dom votes Chris instead of Roxy, Roxy has no votes.

When you consider the timing of each vote, it no longer looks as suspicious as it did. Certainly doesn't look like Dom is trying to save his recruits.

So yeah, I'm off a Dom lynch.

I am still trying to decide if Faraday is a real Ood or a Faux Ood. Plus I still think Ninju sounds faux in general. I am not feeling any of these other cases enough to vote based on them; too many variables. I would like to see where the tow of them vote, but I don't expect it would change my opinion of either of them.

On the contrary,

Dom's vote for Epi vs MM makes it 4-2 Epi. Does it matter when he places his vote if he knows he's not voting MM?

Roxy I am less sure of as I believe Dom is the Master, but if he votes early he can avoid explaining his vote. WIFOM though, I know.

juliets wrote:I agree that there are some compelling cases out there but zeek's case and his zealousness plus my own gut feel are leading me to vote for Dom. Another smaller thing that I caught in Dom's posting while defending himself was the notion that if he were the master he would have helped fill in the master's secrets during the decoding since he would have known the secrets. I know his argument is wifom thus my comment is too but I would think it would be just the opposite. If you help make the secret whole it seems to me you would be more suspicious, if anything. I just found that POV odd. Anyway, I think this is the right vote so I'm voting now and like keys said keeping my fingers crossed -

*vote Dom

*also chris I see how you could be right and dom be a cyber but I'm banking on him being the master or the recruiter.
I acknowledged your criticism of this before you posted it. I'm sorry you feel that way...

Zeek I voted early because I was in NYC and wanted to spend time with my best friend... like what do you want me to do ? Be attached to the computer?

I'm more or less sold on DF's hint. I think that's what BR was talking about when she mentioned something weird happening at night re: DF. I don't think it's the best role to pretend to claim. There's always the possibility that a mafioso figured out whom The Ood was, but then that possibility remained for civs, too. So all in all, things point to the hint being legit.

I think Hedge has to be bad. I can't decide which role she'd be, but the process of elimination + voting records + general gut feeling, all combined, has me more confident about her than anyone else. I'd urge players to join me if they want to avoid a Dom lynch, cause the only player I'd be willing to budge for is Nijuu, who is a bit of a wild card.

Yeah, I can't help but feel like you're trying to force the issue here. Juliets, Snow Dog, if you're civs, which I believe you are, but y'know, recruitment shenanigans aside, take your votes off Dom, Zeek's case really ain't that great.

How I am supposed to garner support without pushing?

You're forcing the issue asking people not to vote for somebody. If they think there's stronger evidence to vote for Dom, let them.

I don't mind admiting that I changed my tune quickly. I was intrigued by your case, so naturally I wanted to take a closer look. On closer inspection, it's really not very strong at all. I'm afraid Jules and Snowy have voted without verifying it themselves in the level of depth I did.

I don't think your interpretation is correct. Dom remains the only person not pegged as a role out of those Epi voters and whoever MM was with wouldn't have missed it. It ended a draw, on the surface, this is the only thing that makes sense.

I have seen teammates miss votes and leave people out to dry. It is one possible interpretation, yes, but not the only possible interpretation, imo.

I get you don't like when people push too hard (N1 for example) so I might as well give up trying to convinced you.

LC made this post during the day 6 post, the one in question.

Prior to that, the polls had been ending somewhere around 11:30 if I remember correctly. This poll ended 3 hours earlier than normal.

LC said there were 6 votes each, with 6 votes to go. There ended up being a total of 17 votes, with 23 players alive.

That leaves 6 players who didn't vote.

6 players who didn't vote in a poll that ended 3 hours earlier than normal, and zeek is CONVINCED that the recruiter would not have missed the vote, and MUST have voted for Epig.

Also, zeek wants to connect Dom to Roxy. zeek is forgetting that when Dom voted for me, Roxy hadn't even been mentioned as a vote candidate. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't MP make a case on Roxy, and then people started switching their votes to her?

How can Dom be saving someone who didn't have votes?

I find it weird that people seemed pretty gung-ho voting for DF during the last lynch (as in, people were saying "If I weren't voting Bass, I'd be okay with a DF lynch"), and yet...Chris is the only one who's voted for him today, and we're all on Dom. This seemed to come from Epi's comment last night about how I would've killed him if I were the Master but haven't, and Dom's the only other suspect, so he gets the vote. Yeah, I see what people are saying about the risk of role-hinting as the Ood, but again...it could very well be a lie. I will say it again - I trust no one. Absolutely no one. And like Dom, I don't really like the idea of role-hinting in the first place. It kinda messes up the integrity of the game for me.

Speaking of Dom, I feel his reaction to the accusations is sincere. I don't want to vote him. I will vote DF, because I have already said why and because I'm comfortable voting in that direction.

I find it amusing that I am a "wild card." Immensely amusing :) But I'm really not that wild if you think about it. Not in the thread, at least ;)

Something may be incorrect with my maths... but my point stands.

You're not wild in real life either. Boring ass English teacher who'd rather read Chaucer than shoot heroin off a stripper's knee.

Keys, why should anyone trust you enough to just vote someone because you say so? Are you SuperGut, the most powerful gut-based detective around?

Epig, I didn't think your case on Dom was that strong because I don't understand the basic assumption: that Dom or Nijuu has to be The Master. Why can't Hedgeowl be The Master, or Keys?
