Sloonei still, I have issues with G Man committing suicide to save him. I think he was wishy before he was pushed. His voting in the Lorab lynch was shady imo.

Golden is a high level player; I would expect suspicions other than low posters I guess by Day 3.

This is a strong thread with a lot of content. A push at low posters confuses me.

I was talking to Golden. Are you his attorney?

But sure I moved my vote. I think Sloonei is shadier than Faraday.

Linki, why Eloh? I think she’s bad even less than Faraday. Switching back.

Her vote for bea was in a post alongside something about 'not needing a tribal council' which I've taken as 'no need for wagons and/or to discuss'. This is largely the issue I have had with today.

Do you think faraday is bad? I don’t. Who do you think is bad other than Bea? I’d rather counterwagon on someone trending bad.
I think he *could* be bad and I’m interested to see what develops from it.

But besides that, he was the only person other than bea who had any votes at all.

And I heard he had a flurry of activity but I haven’t read it yet.
All of us *could* be bad. But do you have reason to think this person is bad? I have reason to think he is not. He is not one of the people I would aggressively defend, but surely you suspect someone more than Faraday?

Linki @Golden sure I have people I suspect, but you’ve been here longer. You don’t have any suggestions of your own? Your top suspicion is a low poster?
There’s quite a number of people I want to investigate who, because of my absence over the last few days, I don’t feel like I have a sense of right now.

DF is one of them. So is bea. So is Michelle. So are you. So is Quin. So is Kate.

I feel good about Sloonei, vivax, wilgy, eloh and sig. i notice bea said she didn’t know she was being punished either so I’m not bothered about/scum-reading sig not knowing at this point.

I’ll do my best to do a reads list before end of day. But although I have been here ‘longer than you’, it’s apparent you’ve been really engaged in this period where I haven’t been able to.

A cheesy low poster counter wagon annoys me, it is beneath this Mafia Supergroup :noble:

I crashed out on the couch last night, so I’m going to bed early. Good night Quin, I hope your client is able to formulate suspicions. Xox

Linki =@Golden thanks for that list. I am a fan of Quins Eloh vote even less than your Faraday vote.

Ping me if you like, but I’m not picking who I vote for based on how much you like it.

I didn’t like your vote on Sloonei yesterday and i think he’s town but did the fact you started a counterwagon give us valuable info? Yes, I think it did, if bea is bad it’s literally caught us a baddie.

So I think you should recognise the utility of my vote with the goal of creating a viable counterwagon beyond whether you agree with my suspicion.

Also, @Golden how strong of a town read on sloonie do you have? If your strongly leaning civ, do you have any explanation as to gman's bizarre exit? @sloonei, I'd love to hear what you think about this as well.

Golden, I saw you mentioned me upthread. You, of all players, in this specific game I thought would know I'm civ and would even guess my role. I think if you read the posts, you'll see that it's in there.

Fair play to Vivax voting me, as I don't think we've played much together/at all. Golden should absolutely know that I'm not acting suspiciously, and focusing on me is clearly to the town's detriment.

Going to go ahead and OMGUS Golden and put a vote on him because this is the first time I haven't felt town about him.

I'm also kind of enjoying playing a loose, unpredictable style this time, doing what I feel like when I feel like. Going after me won't change that.

Btw Kate I *vibe* you town but that is not the same thing as me having paid close attention to your posts.

I have had to choose where to focus my attention in this game, and you’ve not pinged me so I’ve never focused it on you.

It’s that time in the game where I can’t be satisfied with myself if my read is merely vibe, so I actually do have to go back and read you.

Bea vote sticks out as townie, at first glance. I think for a Feb team that doesn't want to stick out too much voting together to save him, G-Man is the more logical choice. With the best choice being to vote off both wagons.
Michelle feels less opinionated than during D1. The DFaraday push could be such an attempt at placing a vote away from G-Man and also not Sloonei.

As in, nothing has stood out as civ.
It's a weird interaction between these two, actually. It's really not the angle most of the game was looking at, and they seem to feel a bit too safe in this bubble where they push each other. DFara openly admits to not reading the reasons behind the wagons, but somehow finds Michelle interesting enough to read. Maybe he was just reading whoever was pushing him, but then he'd have had to read the thread?

The banger here is that Michelle didn't vote, so for DF to notice her, he'd also have had to run into posts describing reasons behind the main wagons. So this could be grounds to campaign for a DF lynch tomorrow, as it feels like he's lying here about what he read.
Nope, I just happened to get a nondescript vibe from her posts, which was enough for me. I am actually going to go take a look at her post history though.

I actually think I'm the opposite. I feel more pressured to contribute as a baddie because I have teammates to look out for. I guess technically I do as a civ too, but it's less immediate.

Anyway, Scotty and G-Man are reading civ to me, mostly due to tone. DH, from what I've read, almost seems to want to die, and I'm getting the vibe that his recent posts are some kind of baddie ploy. I will put a vote on him for now, in the absence of strong reads on anyone else yet.
DF gives G-man an unsubstantiated town read, along with Scotty. He cites "tone" for each of them. Okay then.

Four posts. @DFaraday Now that you are not cursed, can you point to a few of LoRab's posts that led you to the wrong conclusion about her tone meta? DF is about as inconclusive as it gets. If I'm lynched, go after Kate and Bea next. Scotty isn't making me feel great. Llama may also be a baddie--I keep going back and forth on him. And Dr Wilgy needs to stop licking people and hiding behind his goofiness--it is making me increasingly suspect him.
To me it almost came across like trying to garner sympathy, but I was obviously wrong about that.

I also now see that SVS replaced DH. That makes me feel much less confident in my baddie ploy theory.
G-man asks DF to justify his LoRab vote, and DF responds with a direct citation. Solid response. DF's response to G here tells me very little, but (as I said in my previous post), I think G-man's treatment of him here looks like a mafioso in search of more "suspects" to push.

DF abstains from yesterday's vote because he suspects neither of the two main candidates. Fine. His town read on G-man is at least consistent, although he never quite articulated why it existed. This is not the worst, but there is nothing in DF's posts that counts as "good" either. Inconclusive.

@Michelle what's up home dog skillet?
longest work day of the week, vacation days giving extra work as well, and feeling sick when i came home around 9 pm so I went to sleep. Waking up at 4 am and skimming the day a little
Also searching for dog skillet was instructive :p

Now about the wagon on Bea, I think it's town driven.
My vote goes there as well.

With no real room for null reads at this point, I have to put him in my poe. It's not because I find him suspicious, but because I have no reason to townclear him based on his content thus far.

Two days in a row I plant counterwagon votes and the person I vote no u’s me.

Like, I have thoughts. Some of them are ‘if you’re town, can’t you get on board with subtext’ thoughts. Others are ‘if you’re bad, am I putting you under pressure’ thoughts.

But my main thought is what I said to svs yesterday. I would have ultimately voted to save Sloonei if needed (and kinda did) but bea is ‘winning’ the poll today and seems to have gone into antispew because Sloonei, someone who I think is civ, is a viable counter option.

I believe in being accountable for how you vote and use an explanation, but I think it’s problematic (and this goes beyond myself, it’s problematic on a level of solving the game well), if people are discouraged for voting in ways that create pressure and the opportunity for mafia to show themselves, for me that’s a net negative to the town.

The MU hammers are not my favourite. But the last time I played there I was mafia and manipulated a couple of hammers to my ends to win.

There’s a philosophical thing going on here about the purpose of a vote that I find frustrating but it also feeds in to why I like non-changeable votes to begin with.

1) G-Man and Sloonei are w/w. I could definitely see G being the type to take the hit over Sloonei because he felt Sloonei had more ‘win equity’. If sloon is mafia right now, not being nked isn’t even suspicious.

2) Sloonei is town, and G-Man wanted the wifom of people wanting to think the reason why he didn’t self-vote is (1). That’s why he made the post about Sloonei being a better town asset than him.
@Kate here are my sloon/g-man thoughts.

Also because I’ve been so absent I couldn’t figure out when or on what page I posted this so I had to iso myself. Guys, I’m sorry for all the times you’ve isoed me over the years.
But, if I understand your posts, option 1 is highly unlikely?
My view is option one is highly unlikely.

I only caught one voting with me on the garbo wagon that I‘m on, Sloonei still only seems to spot me on the playerlist which is unfortunate.

Ah well
