I'm glad to find someone else who is squeamish about Walking Dead. I watched the first two and gave up. I also don't watch GoT or The Following for the same reason.
So far the first two are the worst. I'd stand to say the 4th is pretty close, but it still isn't as bad because reasons that i refuse to spoil.

The character development is pretty good, so I'm wanting to stay watching even when I know I'm gonna have to turn away when things really hit the fan.

It's on the list of "Shows I wouldn't normally watch but I'm getting sucked into" alongside Breaking Bad.

This is duly noted.

I'm particularly squeamish myself and had/have no interest in Walking Dead, but I watched Breaking Bad at my father's insistence right before Season 3 started (thereafter watched it live), and it's one of my all-time favorite shows.

My wife and I don't watch much TV. She actually watches more than I do. Right now, it's the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Once summer comes, we'll be taking in season 3 of Under the Dome. Hopefully it will be better than season 2 was. It was pretty hit or miss.

We'll also be binging on season 3 of 24 this summer. The first season was amazing. The second season was very good. I've been told good things about season 3.

Not sure if we'll get around to a Lost re-watch yet. Even though I was okay with the way the series ended, I feel like I can't fully commit myself to a TV show again because of it.

Nope, and don't really feel like I could get into it. While I was wrong about BB, I just don't see GoT having the premise to even suck me in.

Like, I didn't really like the premise of Breaking Bad before watching it, but I knew that the humanity of it would pull me in. Same with Walking Dead, but I could see even the premise being reasonable enough for me to watch.

Game of Thrones just doesn't do that for me.

I love Game of Thrones, but the books are so much better it isn't even funny. Keys and I have been even debating whether to continue watching. (those who know me know I don't abandon shows though!)

I've been watching this old show Father Ted. Idk how I feel about it.
Hockey has been taking up a lot of my time too.

Has anyone been watching Daredevil? I watched the first episode and I liked it!

I have yet to meet anyone who read the books and didn't already or does not want to abandon the show and also cut the producers' throats in the process. I'm aware of the differences between the books and the show, but I myself refuse to read those brick-like books, so I'm sticking with the show, because it's a carefree hour of TV for me every week.

Anyone watching Mad Men? It's ending next week.

I watched a couple episodes of the UK Office this week. Ricky Gervais doesn't have to do anything but laugh and I just find him hysterical.

I have abandoned GoT the show. It isn't bad per se; had I not read the books, i would think it's fucking awesome. And I know GRRM is slower than a snail convention, and they have to go somewhere with the plot. But I hate that they changed things BEFORE the end of the last book. Hate it. Eliminated characters and changed major plot points that ARE part of canon. I read the episode syopses so I can rail at them ha ha, but I can't watch it anymore.

The whole Sansa story arc is killing me.

I don't mind when a show is spoiler/ruined by me reading a book. A good book being ruined by a show :disappoint:

Fringe.

People have told me for years that I had to watch Fringe. So when i was at the library the other day, I picked up season 1. I wish i had seen it before. I have kind of immersed in it the past few days.

Am I the only one on here that enjoyed the first season of Fresh Off the Boat?

Part 90's Kid humor, part Asian-American humor (which seeing some of the things asians consider/ramble on about/do, makes it too hilarious for me).

OMG, I know. I am hearing about it from my brothers who are still watching it. I loved where Sansa was heading in the books, leaving the whiny 13 y/o girl behind and becoming a player in her own right. Maybe now she'll be an insane player. An insane, blood spattered ax murdering player. At least I hope so, lol.

And yeah, I am devouring Fringe. And I heard good things about Fresh Off the Boat, maybe I'll check it out.

I was actually just debating watching it now! Glad to hear a good review of it though, because I was just considering it based off of that Netflix seems to really want me to watch it and I saw Naveen Andrews in the preview. :p

I'm probably also starting Parks and Recreation soon. I have never seen any of it and am not familiar with it other then the basic premise, who a few of the cast/producers are, and everyone loves it

Everyone should watch "Silicon Valley". Probably the best supporting ensemble in any comedy since Parks & Rec (though a TOTALLY different vibe/tone than P&R). It's fucking hilarious, especially if you have personal experience in or connections to people in the Tech/software industry. My bf spends a lot of the show cringing because it's a leeeeetle too close to home for him, but HOT DAWG it's funny shit.

Agreed, second season has gotten real solid and its funniest bits were both the unforeseen and well prepared kind. Props to whoever played that Russ guy, one can easily play a brash buffoon and not much more these days, but his best bits of acting were kinda subtle.

I binging Parks and Rec this summer (well, it'll probably take me less than that). This better be good, y'all. This better be good. Image

Aaand season 1 went by fast in two sits, because the whole thing is kinda short. I only laughed consistently at Book Club so far. Dat Swanson face when he realized he has to sit through Leslie's confession rather than having it on e-mail was priceless. Fat Pratt is pretty fat; and good, I can see why they kept him. Paul Schneider needs to go oh wait he will woo.

Ok, season 2 ep 4 was insane. That's more like it.

So season 2 was hella fun, but I'm not feeling it with season 3, at least the first half. Say it isn't so. :scared:

Rashida Jones needs to go...damn, I should have known lightning doesn't struck twice.

I still haven't started Parks and Rec. I did start Orange is the New Black. (I am on episode 2) I feel like from what I have heard everyone who has watched it loves it and has called it a great binge show, but it hasn't really grabbed my attention yet. Any fans of the show remember about where they were hooked?

Don't worry, Parks and Rec is definitely good. And definitely worth it. Season 1 wasn't great, but it gets better.

The Strain, second season (based in Guillermo del Toro books, I did read the first book in spanish, and the first season was very close to the book)

Dark Matter, from Sci-Fi channel, I like the concept and somehow I think the main idea will make a good game of mafia XD

I'm watching The Strain right this moment. I'm on episode 6 of season 1. I read all the books a few years back, but I'm starting to lose steam. Should I stick with it?

I just finished Ascension, which was wholly lukewarm and mediocre.

I'm thinking about starting Wayward Pines tomorrow.

it is a slow show, like sometimes it takes a while to pick up on things, but I think is an ok show, but if you finished watching season 1 and you did not like it, you problably wont like season 2 eitheir, so far Im on like episode 3 and I like it as Im not watching other similar themes and I find something appealing about the main characther actor :D
