1~ Write or record music?

Write, I am a better poet than a singer.

2~ You can visit one relative this year and see no others. No dinners or get togethers at the one relative's house. Who would it be?

My nephew Ian, in the Navy in San Diego. I miss that boy.

Kid Rock; Awesome or Eye rolls? (he is playing on the radio now, and people in the background are having this discussion, lol.)

Gomez or Morticia?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Fri May 06, 2016 2:21 pm
by S~V~S
Morticia, she was my heroine when I was 10. She greatly fueled my plunge into an almost all black teen wardrobe.

Re: Would you rather - -

Gotta go with John Chapman, there. Sounded like a swell fellow.

Chris Farley or Phil Hartman?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Fri May 06, 2016 5:36 pm
by S~V~S
Phi Hartman. He had that same thing going for him that Bryan Cranston has. So tragic :(

John Belushi or Eddie Murphy?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Fri May 06, 2016 5:53 pm
by indiglo
That's another tough one. I'm going with Belushi. But I absolutely LOVED Eddie's Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood sketch on SNL.

Adam Sandler or Jimmy Fallon?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Fri May 06, 2016 5:56 pm
by S~V~S
Jimmy Fallon. Adam Sandler is a bit TOO goofy for me.

That one's easy for me. Tina Fey.

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Mon May 09, 2016 2:09 am
by indiglo
Confession time. I haven't seen even 1 measly episode of either show. :puppy:

So, with that in mind, I'm going to say Breaking Bad, because I was just so happy that Bryan Cranston starred in it. He played a fantastic recurring role on Seinfeld - Tim Whatley.

Unbroken; I did not like how Hurt Locker ended.

by Epignosis
Psychological.

Redford or DiCaprio?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Fri May 13, 2016 9:55 am
by S~V~S
DiCaprio; they are both pretentious, but DiCaprio in his prime is more versatile than Redford was.

Hepburns; Katherine or Audrey?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Sat May 14, 2016 12:29 am
by indiglo
I'll go with Audrey. But that's because when I had super bad insomnia about 6 or 7 years ago, I saw almost all her movies in the 5am time slot on that channel that plays old movies. lol

Better James Bond (here's a category that could go on for days) - Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Sun May 15, 2016 11:38 am
by S~V~S
The books were all so 60's cheesy kitschy (my Mom had them so I read them when I was a teenager), so Roger Moore fit the books better, but Dalton fit the character better. Really, I think it was Sean Connery.

Burning. Bring the pain.

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Sun May 15, 2016 1:25 pm
by S~V~S
Stomach ache; I seldom get headaches, and I am a huge baby about them.

You suddenly develop a mild allergy to OTC painkillers; headaches or a mild rash the rest of your life?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Sun May 15, 2016 1:34 pm
by Epignosis
I don't take medicine anyway, so assuming the rash comes from taking the medicine, I'd be stuck with the headaches anyway.

Yogurt or cottage cheese?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Sun May 15, 2016 2:06 pm
by S~V~S
I flirt with yogurt occasionally, but cottage cheese & I have been together for far longer; I always come back to cottage cheese.

Wild canids; foxes or wolves (I ask this becasue I just saw an adorable video about foxes bred over time as pets; they are pretty cute)?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Mon May 16, 2016 8:54 pm
by indiglo
I'll go wolves, but only by a nose. There is something about a big ol' canid that I enjoy. Reminds me of my previous dog. :sigh: Of course, I love the current dog too, but at 22 lbs, she's hardly big. (Don't tell her though, I don't think she knows.)

Miniature horse or miniature donkey?

Miniature horses are cute but miniature donkeys are adorable, so I have to go with the latter.

Would you rather listen to your most hated song thirty times in a row or watch your most hated film three times in a row?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Tue May 17, 2016 11:19 am
by S~V~S
Hrm, Battlefield Earth vs Grease "I've got Chills" song (hey John Travolta is involved in both. I sense a theme)...

90 minutes of "I've got Chills" would make me more suicidal than 3 showings of Battlefield Earth, so I will watch the film 3x.

Talk like Jar Jar Binks, or look like Jar Jar Binks?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Tue May 17, 2016 11:43 am

If I looked like Jar Jar Binks people would understand my suffering. If I just talked like him, people would think that I was looking for attention.

Meat or dairy?

Save the baby seals, or save the coral reefs?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Tue May 17, 2016 12:56 pm
by S~V~S
Oh wow, hard hard hard question. I think the fur industry is abhorrent and that the way they kill those little guys is horrific, but life on Earth depends on healthy oceans, so I would have to go with the reefs.

Would you rather have an ordinary home in an extraordinary location or an extraordinary home in an ordinary location?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Tue May 17, 2016 1:17 pm
by indiglo
Ordinary home with extraordinary location. My house is for my pets, and let's face it, we wouldn't really "fit in" in a mansion. :haha: But we dig extraordinary locations!

Free groceries for a year or free gas for a year?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Tue May 17, 2016 1:27 pm

Gas. I can be creative with a food budget, but when the tank is empty, it's empty.

Regular potatoes or sweet potatoes?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Tue May 17, 2016 8:08 pm
by indiglo
I like both, but if I had to choose, I'd go sweet potato. I could actually eat one of those for a meal, whereas a regular potato is just a side dish to me.
