I'll vote for TH to get the helmet, I think it's a fine choice.
Murder, Mayhem, and Mafia

I didn't want it anyway...Epignosis wrote:Living only, please.S~V~S wrote:@Epi~ could we give it to a dead person? Like could it amplify MMs self protection powers so that they could be used retroactively? I still feel pretty bad about getting him lynched, and if I can help him I want to.
If not, i guess I could use a helmet myself

Yes, why would you think it wasn't? I looked it up and that helmet magnifies powers. SinceMMs power was the power of self protection, I thought it was worth asking.Spacedaisy wrote:I would also feel comfortable with a vote for TH.
SVS, I have to ask if that question was posed in all seriousness?
I had a feeling. I think that it influenced your game. And I can relate because I hate to be a baddie, and when it's two games in a row, I really hate itDFaraday wrote:Well, that escalated quickly. Go baddies!

What does flying under the radar actually mean? I have been posting. I'm not hiding.FZ. wrote:I also think Snow Dog is flying under the radar. This is no where near how he played in Cars. What's people opinion on him?
Yeah, someone said you were like that. I don't remember playing with you much other than Cars, so that's my reference point. So I guess others know better.Snow Dog wrote:What does flying under the radar actually mean? I have been posting. I'm not hiding.FZ. wrote:I also think Snow Dog is flying under the radar. Cars was a different thing altogether. I had btsc with a civ partner so i outright came out and defended him. That is not the case this game. When the game thins out and if I'm still here you will probably see me more vocal. At the moment I am clueless. My position in most Mafia games recently.
Well done DF voters btw.
Epig, I was wondering, would we know how many votes each person got, without knowing who voted?Elohcin wrote:Wait...we're voting by PMs this time. That makes it easy for baddies to blend. I guess we'll have no real info from tonight's votes.
Why did you address Epi here?zeek wrote: I'm CHANGING my vote, Epi, from S~V~S to DharmaHelper.
I didn't even notice that Bass did that. Interesting catch!Roxy wrote: Bass - I know you have had time to play but have not and I also know you are getting ready to help family out and will be afk for several days - if you are still around I am going to be watching as since the tag team event you pinged me. No.FZ. wrote:Epig, I was wondering, would we know how many votes each person got, without knowing who voted?
You're answering your own question. If it was about saving DF, I would have voted for someone who already had votes and tried to convince others to join me. For me, when I see so many votes on one person, it freaks me out and I second guess myself. That was all it was. I asked about Snow because I genuinely wanted to look at everyone and feel sure about who I voteRoxy wrote:FZ - I got to be honest I did not like your last minute push to get people to unvote DF. When asked who else you would consider voting for you said Snow Dog. Which is the part I did not like bc even if you and the others would have moved to Snow Dog there would have still been enough votes to lynch DF. So why Snowy in that instance when it would have made zero difference in the lynch outcome? Why not DH or LC or anyone else that had votes already vs someone who ha none.
Because quite frankly that struck me as the weirdest question I have ever heard anyone ask in a mafia game. When have you ever know something to be able to be used retroactively in order to change the results, aside from maybe something that was used for the express purpose of resetting a period? just really weird to me.S~V~S wrote:Yes, why would you think it wasn't? I'd say it's a good chance the helmet magnifies powers, as it does in the comics. It kinda also shows Prof X whose mutant, so maybe it might show friend or foe to whoever gets it.S~V~S wrote:Yes, why would you think it wasn't? I looked it up and that helmet magnifies powers. Because I was telling him I was changing, incase he wasn't poll-watching.Dom wrote:Why did you address Epi here?zeek wrote: I'm CHANGING my vote, Epi, from S~V~S to DharmaHelper.
You are trying to fit evidence around a theory, when you should be doing the opposite.MovingPictures07 wrote:YES!!!!! BIH DFaraday! Hope to play a game with you again soon though!
So, interestingly, that's the role that has a received vote of negative # of members on his team... so if he hadn't won by a landslide, he likely wouldn't have been lynched. Does this mean that his teammates were waiting to see what would happen and then bandwagoned onto him or voted someone else?
I also think DF flipping bad makes DH look worse. This is because DF and DH both tried to push Made just a bit at the start of D3 AND because DF voted for MM in the tied lynch between MM and DH on D1.
And since I received the wand, I'd be open to considering someone else for the helmet, though I'm hesitant to give it out nonetheless.
I think you know the answer to your question.Snow Dog wrote:So is it universal that TH is civ?
I really don't. But as everyone seems to want to give him the helmet I guess I can do that too.timmer wrote:I think you know the answer to your question.Snow Dog wrote:So is it universal that TH is civ?
I was contemplating that myself, but I was also thinking that an earlier to middle voter could have used the knowledge that DF had negative votes and voted for him planning to change it later if it comes down to it. But when DF started getting all the votes, taking off one vote wouldn't have helped him anyway, so they left the vote.zeek wrote:For anyone who hasn't voted yet, I would like to propose we go for an early DF voter. Is the night over?zeek wrote:Epi, what time should we expect a night post? Wondering whether to stay up or not.
PMs are due by 7:10pm EST. I need about twenty minutes after that.zeek wrote:Epi, what time should we expect a night post? Wondering whether to stay up or not.
I believe I did say that. Is the same not true for you? You vote someone you think is bad and then someone else does something that lets you know they are certainly bad wouldn't you change your vote? That's what I meant by my comment, there was no "excuse preparing".FZ. wrote:I was contemplating that myself, but I was also thinking that an earlier to middle voter could have used the knowledge that DF had negative votes and voted for him planning to change it later if it comes down to it. I remember there was at least one person who said that if something changes their mind, they'll change their vote. Like they were preparing the excuse for later. I just don't remember who it was. Maybe Juliets
Are you asking me? Or someone else?FZ. wrote:
linki: Isn't that obvious? Why'd you feel the need to say it?
I just looked up the role again. If we assume both night kills were of civvies, it means he had -4 votes. He would be tied with someone who had 3 votes if he had 7 votes. Any votes beyond that, are those who actually got him lynched. So I'd say, if anyone is looking not to be on his team, it's Bass and TH, because they were the ones to seal the deal.zeek wrote:FZ - True, but that would make any sort of analysis of the voting yesterday null and void. I don't believe that is the case.
Thanks Epi, I'll stay up a bit longer then and see how tired I get
My point was that of course we don't all know TH is civ. It seems likely TH isn't on DF's baddie team, though, so that makes the odds of civvies ness relatively high. I mean, you must understand this.Snow Dog wrote:I really don't. Ok, so FZ your question is why did I feel the need to say this. In your quote above you laid out there that I said I would change my vote if there was a reason to change it. You further indicated that the statement indicated I was preparing an excuse for later. My answer to you is that I was stating something that would probably be true of anyone who didn't vote at the last minute - that I would change my vote if something currently unknown happened to cause me to change my mind. Many people in this game have said basically the same thing. So, you put out there the idea that I was "excuse preparing", not even acknowledging that there were other reasons to say that, and i corrected you with what I was doing. I don't know why you are confused by why I responded to your statement.juliets wrote:I believe I did say that. Is the same not true for you? As for people reluctant to vote TH due to the later vote, you can feel free to vote for me as an alternate, if you feel I'm worthy.
