Most reviews are lukewarm at best towards the film but the praise for Close is off the chart. Best comparable would be Julianne Moore in Still Alice... insanely good performance in an otherwise by the numbers film. And Close has never won after a ton of nominations, much like Moore.

I think I was put off by the wealth and glamour. That lifestyle makes me retch.
