so punish the fool seems like a pretty punishing ability for our team.

the best we can probably do is to make scum play whack-a-mole. we all need mana for something...

fix suggestion : everyone should ask for the mana they need (and that's it - just ask for the mana, don't say what it's for or that it needs priority, etc etc), irregardless of how good or bad their ability is.

loop holes : the mafia will target strong people this way, so we're a bit forced to spread the cards to someone they don't need dead. (PoEish targets that can reasonably be town)

my instinct is to say that 3 mana is a bit tough to gather? so let's not try to get caught up in an ability that takes quite a bit to use anyway.

thoughts / concerns about this?

it could get complicated allowing a lot of people to be in control of choices but we could probaly get the host to make a poll so we can keep track of it all

i think i agree with this

i'm sure some people need more energy than others but no one's fully self sufficient

we could at MOST be public about what kinds of energy we might need, maybe. like make a mana wishlist. and people could just generally give spare energy to people they find trustworthy. anything beyond that risks exploitation i think

I am literally incapable of using my ability without people giving me a reasonably specific kind of mana. I don't want to ask for mana from people; assigning people to give mana is bad because of the Mafia artifact mentioned. Because of that, my primary purpose is giving out mana, which I have specifically 3 colorless of. I wanted people to be aware that I both need a specific mana, and give a specific mana. This means, imo, we to some extent need to understand *how* to give out our mana. I want to know that, because I will be giving mana

Which on that note, I want to say:

Everyone who can keep their mana and use it probably should

Everyone should probably say which mana types they can benefit from, unless we think scum has some kind of "targeted removal" which will hurt us for saying our colors. Which I doubt
I believe the OP said that there are no redirects. I bet they have the 3 artifacts and that's all.

The punish the fool artifact looks like it's only a good play if the wolves know who is likely to be receiving mana, if they use it on a player who is given 0, then 4 x 0 is 0 damage.

Just call all colors by their color. That's their literal name

Blue
Black
White
Green
Red

Anyways, yes, you would be able to use the normal effect, but would need more mana to spend it on the additional effect of the kicker, if you wanted the kickers effect
