The odds that there is at least one mafia in the cascio fam is >50%

Same odds for any three players picked at random but hey, statistics.

I thought of this, too. G Man clearly said in sign ups that he was going to randomize the roles, so I think he randomized the roles. Integrity counts with him, imo.

This reminds me of the only role I’ve ever made that o didn’t rand, John Cavil in BSG. The success of that game hinged on the person in that role being committed and SVS was excellent. (But also I randed 3J as top town and LC as the powerful Indy so the rand loved me that game too.)

Also hoping to hear from the rest of the LP/TP/RM gang.
You left out STV! As usual, I don't say much on day one, but I do read and reread because day one becomes very important later in the game. I'm missing Bea, and wondering if she knows the game has started.

Everything in that game that could have broken your way didn’t, consistently. The rez ships, the final five, the thread deciding to accept cylons could be good, the death order, even the way LCs role played out… there were many I built pathways at the start but I think almost all if not all had closed by about day 5. But I loved how you and G played it.

S~V~S wrote: Mon Nov 28, 2022 3:36 pm I do know it , @Kate . That’s why when I answered Scotty’s question about the Kate Fam, I said I thought you would bus them if you were bad teamies, but I don’t think you’d build cases on them, like hard distancing. You might, though, if you were civ.

It was an active thread today, looking forward to your thoughts on it. The activity seems to have come in large part from people who have a different Mafia mindset than I, and your insight would help me sort it, since we often come from a similar place, threadwise.

Also hoping to hear from the rest of the LP/TP/RM gang.
You left out STV! As usual, I don't say much on day one, but I do read and reread because day one becomes very important later in the game. I'm missing Bea, and wondering if she knows the game has started.
After your first read through, what has stood out to you?
Seanzies post about tunneling is bothersome, I'm not sure how to interpret it, and Falcons post explaining what bothered him about Golden was acceptable, to me. I don't necessarily agree with it but at least, it's surface clean.
Scotty seems like the same as the anniversary game, he notices everything, and questions everything, and he was civ there. (That doesn't clear him, but something I note).
That's as far as the feels go right now, because I need more time before I start making judgements.

But I loved how you and G played it.
IIRC one of the people I had to recruit was Glorfindel who refused to be a baddie or something of that nature ha ha

Idk, I think I'm at least 65% accurate. Pegged 3/4 of the scum in last game only reading like 1/4th of the posts and shitposting half the time.

Fr though, I really want to finish the new Pokemon games.
I think you did a pretty good job picking out three of the four mafia last game.

If you were mafia partners with one of your family, would you sacrifice each other, and if so, who would willingly take the bullet first?

Jack wouldn't be able to think of a way to sacrifice us, Kate would do it without either of us noticing, and I would sacrifice Jack but not Kate; I would need her help. I would also totally be willing to take the fall for victory.
Got it.

You’re giving me Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2 vibes here. Giving the impression that you are an innocent and lost lamb but in reality just might be a devious killer in disguise.

You might be. Or you might not be. I’m just pocketing that thought for now.

Thanks for answering!
One more thought--it's not because we're family. None of us would let that get in the way. For example, I wouldn't sacrifice anybody on my first mafia game, that would throw the entire game. I can respect the your 'wolf in sheep's clothing' call--I would probably do the same. Trying not to rely on being new too much.

I contend it’s not a terrible look, however hypocritical that appears.

Golden, a little bit. I feel like he's been a bit too go with the flow, if that makes sense. Starting a train for a weak reason, and not defending himself is a little weird but it could be the way he plays.

I want to know why you're on my case so much. You've asked me questions at almost every opportunity you get, but said you don't wanna kill a new player D1. So, why is it that you're asking me so many questions?

not digging votes thrown out for no reason or sheeping (wtaf people??)
Golden - I am looking directly into your eyes.

Seanzie - SVS asking a simple question then you tell her to read when it is a perfect question to ask. I wanted to know as well but I do not know you like I know Golden though I am going to be watching for case making vs just throwing crap out to see what sticks.

falcon - slightly better but really would like to know more about your vote.

Scotty - though I am unsure of the reasons why you want to know what people what do with the cop INFO DUMPING role, tbh I am old school and would be shocked to see open INFO DUMPING I come from places where you had to make cases to get your info out I do not understand why anyone would out themselves for a nk this way when the role is so important to the town. If it is/or not my role I would make cases to prove what I have found out.
I do not think you are picking on Dennis I do think you are trying to engage him in the game to keep his interest going imo. Peeps did the same to my son Bass when he played.

Lucy - is your name Beatles related? What is your hang up about ages. I am old. You are young - get on with it.

Kate and the boys - No I do not think GMan would put them on the same team. Poss one of you but not all 3. I like how Dennis has been answering questions and keeping up, Jack seems more of a low poster like me and I dig that.

Mata is starting to get into it but where is splints? Bea?

There was something else but I cba'd to remember right now.

Just off work put still have a ton of paperwork left to finish tonight end of year is so hellish at my job.

SVS's question is based on a false premise -that I voted Scotty because of his vote on me. This should've been clear considering the only post I talked about Scotty being a 69% (nice!) bad doggo, it wasn't about Scotty's vote. SVS wasn't questioning me in good faith, they were trying to push me with a false narrative.

There is nothing about me or my posts that are bothersome. I am the epitome of unbothereomeness. I am about as bothersome as a soak in a jacuzzi. As bothersome as a warm, clear summer eve.
 ok, I'll change bothersome to 'thought provoking'.
Acceptable, carry on.
Spoiler: show
