Assuming we do get to travel again, I'd feel super chuffed if some of you guys agreed to travel with me and keep me company. Having a tough fighter like myself, proven and seasoned, on your side is pretty beneficial especially this early.

Well I think I might step up and try a fight this time around.

Or should two of the previous winners go at it?

I was planning on going back to DC every other day, to see who has been there, and who has learned what. I think if we all post what we know in the various cities we visit, then we can make informed decisions. I see DC as a baseline of sorts, but I don't trust the people there more than anyone else.

If you want to come to DC tomorrow, DH, I will be happy to travel with you.

Or better yet, we could team up and help protect those who aren't as able to protect themselves. Or don't have our rippling biceps. :noble:

For those of you considering remaining stationary:

Consider that by moving, you learn the results of more fights, as well as the discussion from other cities. The isolationist strategy might have worked for the first day, but as more days pass and more fights occur, its best to know who has wins under their belt before you end up fighting someone with a perfect record of ass kicking.

@MR - I personally don't want to fight any of the previous winners, and I don't think they'd want to fight me considering how that ended for Kate

@SVS I will go to DC with you :D

@BWT - We should definitely consider that as a possibility. For example if a bloc of llama-minded voters decided to pick on someone from outside of WIlmington, I would be the first to volunteer to protect that person, or to fight someone on their behalf.

I'm still leaning towards this strategy. And then possibly hitting up the other 2 cities, with return trips each time. I think by rotating around in such a way, it allows one to gather the maximum possibly information.

So barring unforseen circumstances, I will probably head back to DC as well.

In fact if I don't end up fighting today, those of you who plan to go to DC, should elect me to fight so you don't have to. I would not mind being (maybe one of) the elected brutes/fighters behind a voting bloc.

As an original Wilmington citizen I'm not interested in the "wilmington voting block," like I said earlier, I want to fight someone who has not fought yet.

Also, for my own spreadsheet I'd like to try to figure out where everyone started out. I think I've got all of you except Dom... was he from NJ or DC?

I'll volunteer to fight, though I'm unsure of what the result will be. I'm short and not in shape, but just gimme a few drinks and I'll be scrappy as hell!

Also, I think I share SVS's idea. If I survive, I'm considering returning to New Castle so I can check back in there.

As I mentioned, I believe it ended with DH, Bullz, LC, and I coming here. We were the only ones who voted minutes before the poll was closed, I take it things stayed that way.

I saved the 2 pages of posts from there and our starting group was:

The only reason I was going to let someone else fight was because I wanted to give them a chance. However, if people don't want to go or something then you can nominate me again. I am just scared of what may happen if I lose a fights luckily, SE just got bruised from my cat scratches.

Thanks, I am trying to catch up with the pre change posts in the thread and keep up with post merge~ I am sorry if i missed where you said it before, MR.

Linki~ since fighters gain experience point from fighting, i might feel better putting people who have not fought yet forward. Once we have a better feel for the group, there might be a reason to battle from strength, but for now not letting anyone get too powerful might be a good idea.

Over in Penns Grove, we chatted a bit about the fact that it seems to be in everyone's best interested to figure out who Tyler Durden is, since the policemen need to find him to win, and we all win if we survive to the end. If Durden is found early, maybe that handicaps project mayhem etc and helps everyone win.

So, for whichever of you may be policemen, I would like to point this post out. Hedge is no longer here to reply about it, so I'm putting this post here as a marker until maybe hedge can respond to it later, but.... Hedge doesn't seem to understand about the hometown thing. I checked with MP about referring to roles in this way and he said it is acceptable, so, without going into too many specifics... My original thread was Penns Grove, NJ. I understood the reason I was there because of my role pm. You guys should have understood the name of your first thread based on your role pms.

So all I'm saying is... Tyler Durden could very well not have a hometown since he is a fictional part of the narrator's brain. It's potential that hedge didn't understand about the hometown reference because of a role pm that doesn't have one. Since the policemen search for Durden every night, I thought I would put that out there. Food for thought.
I thought the exact same thing about Hedge's post, Timmer, but I was worried I had said something I wasn't supposed to say about having a hometown, so I tried to cover for myself. She is definitely right at the top of my suspect list for a non-civilian.

I wasn't sure about the level deal until people mentioned they went up/stayed the same according to their fights. Thanks for the info!

Which brings me to my next point - if indeed the fights get more dangerous as the game goes on, I wouldn't mind volunteering now so I don't get stuck as a Level 1 against a level much higher than me. I'll put my name in the pot, even though there are lots of others gunning to fight :D

Why do you say this?

Since it appears that losing fighters do not move on (based on Aces wanting to come here, but not being here after being defeated by BWT), I would prefer not to fight here. I hope to be chosen tomorrow back in DC.

I am planning on voting for a Level 1 fighter, someone who has not fought yet, who wants to fight.

I think people only don't move on if they got seriously injured. Aces was hurt and didn't come here, but Spaghetti wasn't hurt and was able to leave here. It could be safe for you to fight if your opponent doesn't injure you too badly (or if you win!).

I don't recall ever winning a mafia game with love. Not to mention this is fight club, love club would be something else entirely, probably on a completely different website...

I don't recall ever winning a mafia game with love. Not to mention this is fight club, love club would be something else entirely, probably on a completely different website...
Every mafia game I've won has been won with love. I love you, Bullz. Do you love me?
If I say yes will you vote for me to fight?

Only if you really mean it.

So, no.

Bye to some welcomes to others :)

Iunno where my vote is going. I do know that I am not ready to fight.
I do doubt I will vote for anyone that has asked for votes.

To those who say travel is good bc you get more well rounded info the problem I have with giving away too much info is that it helps the baddies (Tyler etc)

Hedge kwigged me out when she was not posting or sharing thoughts then traveled without first discussing the options.

I don't know what I will do yet.

I wish we had two votes. *cough MP *cough*

I'm leaning on letting my boy Bullz beat the shit out of somebody.

Two votes would actually be a pretty good idea. That way people who vote for themselves could also vote for someone else they'd want to fight, or we could vote to have someone 'undesirable' face off with someone who's most likely to beat them due to higher levels.

This is an interesting question. We had some theories in DC, but we seemed to be gravitating to the winner in each presumed thread fight each other.

Since the poll only called for one person, it never occurred to us (or if it did occur to anyone, I don't recall them saying so in thread) that two people from the same thread might fight. I was rather surprised when both BWT & Aces were set to fight. IIRC, we all were.

And reading back, I see Roxy is playing :daisy

Glad to see you, I did not pester you about this since i knew you were on break, but glad to see you!

Llama, which hometown? Past, current?

I have no idea about who to pick. Does anybody besides Sorsha want to volunteer?
I meant the town that is the name of this thread. Does nobody read the name of the thread but me?
I saw that, but it didnt mean anything to me. So you think other people are in a different hometown?
I saw that Timmer mentioned this tonight, and I kinda see his point. I have played games where the baddies did not know certain things based on what was in the civvies PMs (Rox, I want to say Survivor was set up that way?) so you had to be realllllly careful about what you said. It could also be that Hedge just read the "You are a civ" part, and did not pay much attention to the location.

I see you guys also had volunteers.
Devin the Omniscient wrote:Also, like boogs, I was expecting the game to continue in the other forum yesterday and no one was posting. Today I decided to be more observant :)
What other forum? Did you guys have access to another thread?
thellama73 wrote:I feel I've waited long enough and we only have a few hours to go. I'm voting for >SpaghettiEverywhere.

Let me explain.

Since we don't know the consequences of fighting, and we don't know who is good or bad, I believe selecting a non-participant as a Guinea Pig minimizes risk to our group, while hopefully giving us information. Others should follow my vote, because I am smart and it is the right choice.

Or you could choose to tie the vote like Bea is insisting we do (madness.)
Ha ha ha!! when I saw that Llama had a method, I KNEW IT WAS LOW POSTERS. Ha ha ha.
thellama73 wrote:I don't know yet, but I can tell you one thing: I'm never going to stupid New Jersey!
i said something very similar~

I am at my quote limit.

Linki~ thanks DH, I will check that out momentarily.
you are indeed right my Survivor game had the same sort of set up and some PM's contained info to help civs or baddies. Giving away too much could have hurt your team.
Hence my paranoiac thoughts this game - I know how much info is given bts in this type of set up. Its also why I am not sharing my skil level.

I need to vote now bc I do not want to miss it again. I am voting SVS as she did not ask for votes nor did she say she did not want to fight.
