I've been wondering that myself. I hope the answer is yes it would end, because if you were in a role playing hard to win for the team you were aligned with, and the game didn't end because of you still being in your first life, which would basically force you to lose after you had worked hard for the win con your first life needed... THAT would be a bastard role.

I was taking a more practical approach to the lynch. though I have at times suspected Boomslang, I have recently begun to feel like I don't find him so suspicious. It was probably just the vastly different viewpoints that he and I were taking early in the game I think. cbob, I don't know. I will do an ISO on him, but I haven't felt particularly pinged by anything there, we'll see how I feel today after I do an ISO. Blooper is a no go for me, and up until his death I trusted him. I haven't seen anything to change that opinion. That left sprityo who had claimed a bastard role. And I can see what he meant since he could possibly redirect a civ's ability, thereby confusing their results. Though I wouldn't necessarily call it a bastard role. I apologize if I made your end unfun for you Sprityo, you are a cool dude and have played hard the majority of the game. I kind of feel like Epi though, I don't think it was the worst possible result.

Ok. Here’s an excerpt from the book of Scotty, now in bargain bins in some lucky Walmart:

He hasn’t capitalized on any of the information he’s gathered and those that we have helped him with. He decided to take his own game in his hands by making cases himself. Or so he said. It’s still more of the same.

The vote today should be weeding out the even from Pikachu 2.0. It’s the best lead we’ve got right now, and it’s one of me, Sloonei, SpaceDaisy and Kyle. Some might say it’s me and they have their reasons. I made a separate case against Kyle a few cycles ago but found it inconclusive on the account that he seemed intent on making do with all the questions he’d been asking. He seemed genuinely frustrated with being behind, so i offered to let it slide on the condition that he start producing his own reads.

I then pushed for a Sloonei lynch based on a case I made on him, but have since backed off since I believe he may be a particular role and I don’t feel like losing that role if he’s civ.

SpaceDaisy I believe to be another role and is probably good.

I good, for reasons being I am good.

So Kyle is the best choice in my opinion.

if it weren't for the fact that I have 2 lives remaining I'd almost be okay with dying just for the PoE benefits. if everything we think we know is true then the real killer of sprityo has to be among you, epi, spacedaisy or Scotty.

My gut feeling says it's Scotty, if it's not him then my second guess would be you. You've been the one pushing the "it's probably Scotty or Kyle" narrative the hardest with relatively weak reasons for clearing spacedaisy, epi, and yourself.

Hey y'all other people than Sprit One have died, you know. The Sprit One POE group is a group of people of whom several are highly trusted by several people, several have two lives, etc. Is this the plan, to plow through this group until we find one person? Kyle has two lives; the plan is to lynch him until Thursday?

If enough people are convinced he's bad, that is what we will do, we did it with LC and Marmot, but we should also keep looking at other options.

I am still trying to figure out the day 5 sigwagom angle, to see if we can isolate an Even on Cerberus, there had to be at least one Original Even. Tying that in with the "Who Killed Sprityo One POE" thing, since he died on an even night, night 8, it could be one of the POE group that came from Cerberus is the Cerberus Even.

So I am going to follow that angle again, but only looking at the people in the Sprityo One POE group who were in Cerberus for the Day 5 Sigwagon.

God that sounds complex, lol.

My family celebrates Greek Easter,so today is our family day, I should be back later tonight and around a large chunk of the day tomorrow.

Also I know we won't know until games end, but Sloonei has led lynches on a few Strex, and Epi on LoRab. I would have expected revenge kills on them from Strex, yet both have two lives. Is it possible Strex is gone? I know we have no way of knowing, but I just looked at Scottys List Of Lives, and was surprised at some of the people on it. I would have expected Strexcorp to have killed Sloonei at least once, but they have not.

OK, I just read Day 5 Cerberus Kyle, the day of the sigwagon opposing LC, and I don't think he had any part in promoting the sig wagon. He spent more time defending himself from Scotty than anything, doing some clarity surfing with Jack, asking for other peoples opinions and missing the vote. His one mention of sig was something like, "So what's the deal with sig". He had 9 posts, most of them one liners.

Kyle with both lives left, would have to be an Original Even if he was an even. That that cohesive sigwagon formed the same day LC had his final lynch cannot be a coincidence, and I don't think Kyle had anything to do with it. Doesn't mean there was not a recruit to the Evens also in Cerberus, or even another Original Even if there was a team of 4, or if Nutella was not an original. But based on Day 5 Cerberus, Kyle was not trying to save LC. And that day would have been an all hands on deck day in Cerberus to counter the LC lynch, and Kyle was barely on deck even part of the day. This brings down the likelihood of Kyle being the Even Droid who killed Sprit One the droid that we're looking for quite a bit for me.

I am going to read his overall Cerberus later on after I get home.

I'm definitely not trying to suggest we don't try to push our own lynch across. Just that I don't feel it's entirely necessary that we must be the tribe that performs the lynch. I don't know what those other guys are up to, but it's possible (given the state of our thread, I'd even say it's likely) that they've had more solid reads than us through the first two days. I'm comfortable deferring to them if that's the case, but that's not in any way a suggestion that we shouldn't try to suss each other out.

To this thought process on Day 4:

The other tribe is making us look like chumps and there's a reason they keep beating us on the lynch game. If my latest theory about the lynch/nightkill alternating between tribes then I'd like to lynch one of our own so that our top town reads can stop losing their first lives. But if we're going to do that we need to actually reach a consensus. I think I'm developing some town reads, so the POE field is narrowing slowly but surely. So let's get bumpin', bring this place to life. I've hired a DJ to help get us moving. Don't let this guy down.

On D5, you stayed back for the 2nd half of the lynch because I was already a vocal proponent of pushing for a lynch. So of course if anyone looks at it with the mind that one person would be pushing for a lynch, it would be me.

And the answer(s) to your question are things I've stated a number of times already. I got sick of Cerberus having nothing to go off of and being stuck in "extended Day 1" for a week straight, and I also began to suspect that the tribes were alternating between nightkills and lynches. I prefered the thought of us lynching a suspect rather than letting our town reads get picked off night after night. I expressed all of this pretty clearly at the time, I think.

And also sig was never my preferred candidate for the lynch. I believe I was pushing for marmot at the time.

I think that is more complex than just "Scotty". INH had been pushing sigs name for days, on Day 5, Scotty seemed to be trying the hardest to herd cats into all voting for the same person. He did not start lynching sig, but he wound up voting there.

Also Cerberus' day 5 was not as intense as ours, a lot of casual drive by type stuff, so it was harder to tell, it didn't really feel like Scotty was standing there whipping them into line. Just a post or two felt that way. Like with Pikachu, every time Chuck or LC started getting someone to doubt, I would be all in their faces with, "Do you REALLY think the hosts...blah blah blah", I might have even had the phrase on cut/paste. It did not feel like that to me reading Cerberus, so it is harder to pinpoint.

I know he's in a tough position in terms of activity in this game, but we seem to have narrowed down a pool of suspects to just myself, him, and Scotty. Surely he should have something constructive to say about that at the very least, even if it's just a gut read on somebody. Lynching a player with nothing to say is lame for all parties involved.

Ignore my last post, I'm an idiot and somehow looked right past this.
I'm not going to offer reasons for clearing myself. That's not my job. The reason for clearing Epi is that he was instrumental in the cases against LC and nutella, as far as I can tell. I also truly do not believe that he would have killed sprityo there, and independent of all this, he is a strong town read.
I've been firmly town reading Daisy all game and nothing has really changed that. I really don't see her being bad either.

So it's you or Scotty, and Scotty is right up there with Epi and Daisy in the battle for my strongest town read if you take this whole POE thing out. So I'm landing on you, but I've also spent a good deal of time wondering aloud whether this path is really worth following. I still think it could be the case that the nightkills were not restricted to targets within a player's tribe.
