This game, we’re giving you the chance to accomplish a similar feat.

Getting nervous are we?
I will say, as things stand right now, if there’s a deepwolf I think it would be Dennis.

There’s a case for his non-voting for soneji being TMI. And I do think he has a lot of cred off the back of day one.

The only problem with that is that I really want the wilgy wagon to be clean lol.

Falcon
Splints
Neon
Mata
Rox
Scotty
Soneji

I don't deserve a break bc I posted today, I only deserve a break if my post says something you agree with.

falcon - I like his style tbs I do feel good vibes about his posts, I do not always agree with what he says but I am not getting the vibe that his susp are coming from a bad place.

splints - she is townie bc of her haphazard style is in full swing when she is bad she does NOTHING haphazardly. She is all over the map and wanting to save herself screams townie splints. When bad she is more of - you will be sorry at days end/ you have got me so wrong/ you cannot read me/ have we ever played together before vibe.

Neon already posted about them see previous post.

Mata - I feel those who want to give her pass (hell I am one of them). She is just not as in depth as normal - due rl I believe. I feel like I have never read her right as she comes at the game from a completely random angle that I have never fully understood but she is a brilliant player. I am just not sure here. All I can say idk.

Scotty - I said before his game feels diff than the anni g 1 I read along with. Not sure if it is the gym or his hikes I believe we only played together once or twice and it's been awhile since I have played but he just does seem to be as engaged as normal.

Soneji - a fellow low poster and I have read their posts but I am not sure what to make of them. I am not one to led around by other players stating ---- that's their meta/ that's nai/ when they played as a wolf they did this ---- I like to make my own mind up. GTH I would say civ.

Not sure I got anywhere in my head with this post but you asked and I wanted to answer even if it was to someone else.
I like this post,

Not because I agree with most of the conclusions but because she seems like she does. Which is more important on the whole. I really like the acknowledgement of Kate not writing her off as scum just because she posted.

I would say to the splints point: I personally wouldn’t describe Splints’ play this game up to this point as haphazard. It seems more cards close to chest and vague.

And to your point about me: that’s fair. I’m definitely not as in depth in general as I was in Anni. I’m definitely slacking in post count, but then again I hadn’t started a new job taking up my time during anni. It is what it is.

I'm not good at words so let me try my best.

Your opening feels like a wolf trying to cover themself with the over hype doc praise followed by more cover for yourself because you immediately push suspicion onto looking only on the top wagon for scum a wagon you were firmly against.

That cover protects you the deep wolf and your team because the chances we hit correct in a 7 person pool are well 1 in 7 but if we focused off wagon that pool becomes 1 in 5 and it's almost certain all wolfs didn't stack on Soneji.

Oh and your firm anti Soneji position also reeks of TMI but also makes me think the other wagons that were close when Soneji started to take off also were town. I know I'm town and I was one of them.

Neon wrote: Mon Dec 05, 2022 4:54 pm Allow me to explain my frustration a bit

Ever since my wolf game I've been getting called a wolf no matter how hard I obv town. Okay I'm a good wolf I'll say it but that doesn't mean blindly ignore the behavior in front of you. The paranoia is frustrating. At least when Mac said what he said in that quote there was a reason for it I eod things that were decidedly anti town. I haven't here and still I'm being pushed.

But than I'm not even being pushed for MY play I'm being pushed because a new player who didn't like the game subbed out and Sean has decided that automatically makes them a wolf. I don't think you should be allowed to read into anyone but my play. I think subs should be judged on their track record. Sean has spent the last page and a half saying Jack behaved like a new wolf. The fixation on Jack is frustrating especially because I think that's all Sean can say because their reasons for pushing me on my play were weak and they don't hold water. So now I'm forced to defend myself against the mental of a person I am not because Sean is trying to read into their mental state and it is a physical impossibility for me to defend myself on that and Sean knows it.
The fixation on Jack is also ridiculous seeing as how I've said multiple times he didn't like it. @Kate , what are you doing? Help me out here.
I don't feel that neon's behavior has been wolfy. Others feel differently so I was going back to jack to try to sure up my feelings on the slot. I figured who better to try to do that than you and me?
Yeah... that's my point. You know as well as I do Jack wasn't a very willing participant. Having you, who is in practically everyone's towncore, attest that Jack's behavior wasn't influenced by his role would help prove Neon's towniness, no?
I was trying to see if you felt that his behavior would have been different WITH the added pressure of a baddie chatroom. Youre essentially reversing my point.

To be clear: I think if Jack had a baddie role, he would have tried harder because of the pressure of teammates in a chat. Therefore, I find it unlikely Jack was bad.
I appreciate that.

But I'd be remiss if I didn't say I'd rather be judged solely on myself in both cases weather you think Jack was town for his behavior as you do or scum as Sean does.

I think you just think I'm town anyways but I'm just saying it so that I don't look like I have an agenda :p
In my stupid brain I’ve imagined that jack has moved out of the house and you seamlessly integrated into Kate and Dennis’ family, watching movies curled up on the couch together and you and Dennis fighting over the last Oreo (or whatever it is kids fight over these days)

Splints comes to mind, but I don’t know who else might have been there.
There is definitely some potentially useful material in terms of who took who out of the PoE… but would wolves willingly remove their allies from PoE? Especially if they’re deepwolves.

I think how the soneji vote came together is fertile ground for analysis today.

I really like this post. What can we do with it? Neon I'm so glad you're here. Don't worry @S~V~S and @Golden I still fangirl you two topsies but neon has entered the chat...
To go further into what I personally think we can get out of this and what I'm looking at personally when I analyze the raw data

I think there's never more than 1 wolf that votes on both maj wagons so at most there's one in Golden, Sean, SVS, Lucy

I TR SVS and Lucy so I think at most one in Sean and Golden and would you look at that this last page solidified that for me lol. It's possible it's none though.

I think there's 1 on Wilgz at least but probably exactly one unless Sean is wolf. Which is one in golden, seanzie, Dennis, svs, Lucy. Which continues that same trend.

Regardless of Sean's alignment I think there's no more than one in Kate Myself and Scotty and probably exactly one in all scenarios.

I think there's a wolf in the 8 who have never has a vote at EoD which is just duh Level analysis but whatever at least one in Bea, Dennis, Falcon, Neon, Kate, Mata, SVS, Scotty

At most one in the group who have never made a stand Neon, Bea, Falcon, Roxy.

I think there's only ever one in Kate, Scotty, Mata

And i think Dennis might be the deep wolf and if Sean flips Red I'm going all in on Dennis.

Is that analysis enough for you Sean?
golden, seanzie, Dennis, svs, Lucy of these I think the most likely hit is Sean

Kate Myself and Scotty of these I think the most likely hit is Scotty

Bea, Dennis, Falcon, Neon, Kate, Mata, SVS, Scotty of these I think the most likely hit is Mata followed by Scotty

Neon, Bea, Falcon, Roxy of these I think the most likely hit is a toss up of Roxy/Falcon but honestly I think none

Kate, Scotty, Mata of these I think the most likely hit is Scotty

So logic should dictate that I choose to hit in Sean/ Scotty/Mata
Going back to this again I do note that Soneji didn't vote day 1 and was on Lucy day 2 so they should be added to Neon, Bea, Falcon, Roxy, Soneji

In this instance I think the most likely hit is Soneji and that they are far more likely than anyone else in this list so my PoE today is looking

Sean/ Scotty/Mata/Soneji.

I won't vote outside this.
Why was splints not even included in your data collection? Like, she was never in any of your cluster groups. Why is that?

It’s honestly what always happens to me and then I get continually called out for low posting because everyone posts like crazy overnight for me
I would still get called out for low posting. Happens every time I play, every time I say this is the last time I'll play then Kate comes around begging the old gang to back together for a game and I get sucked in. WHOOSH!!!!!!!!!

Never again I mean it this time as I am so sick of people down on the way I play because I don't make a 100 posts a day saying:
XXXX Is a wolf
But this is my meta ask XXXX
When is eod
I'm cute
How old are you
Where in the *uck did you find those beets Dwight?
You dig?

FYI splints is not bad I will NOT vote for her.

****************************************************************************************

I am a low poster. I have never denied being a low poster. Being a low poster does mean I am not reading and keeping up.
Am am deffo not lhf as I consider myself more like a bunch of happy carrots. So I am more in the mud vegee's. imv for those of you who adore abbreviations.

The last day phase actually made me want to hurl and also made it so I do not want to even post in the thread. I am *trying* to get past all the awkwardness/weirdness/meaness in this supposed game thread. We are all people with feelings this game can get heated ---------why add to it?

Takes one 'fn second to be kind people.

I will now finish re-reading make my post and call this done.

Questions/posts I noticed so far:

Scotty said I seemed aggressive which I find funny as I am imv. What exactly in a post can you point me at to show my "aggression"?

Neon - welcome but you obv haven't read as much as you say you have. I have never been on a wagon nor voted in this game yet. Had you actually read the thread (and not just my posts but the hosts as well) you would have seen I self voted D 1 bc of a robbery at my work. I host voted D 2 bc of the Host punishment of self voting was to lose my vote. But actually if you read any of my posts I clearly state suspicions. Sorry if you don't like my style and want to lynch me for being imv I am used to it. Happens all the time on this site. However I do like you info then analysis of the voting thus far. So thanks for doing the leg work on that.
I don’t know what imv means.

I think….and even looking at this post especially, your *tone* is what comes off as aggressive to me. It might be a difference in mistranslation of text not conveying the correct emotion but “The last day phase actually made me want to hurl and also made it so I do not want to even post in the thread. I am *trying* to get past all the awkwardness/weirdness/meaness in this supposed game thread” is pretty prickly and mildly passive aggressive at best.

I’m not condemning you for being emotional- that’s pretty human, and doesn’t make me think any less of you. If anything, I believe your frustration. Whether or not I think this is a frustrated civ feeling left out as a “bunch of happy carrots” as you call it or a wolf that is being suspected for unfair playstyle prosecution I don’t know.

But I’m not discounting you as civ. Not at all, and not because you’re a low poster
Roxy is commonly perceived as prickly, in my view. Just a meta note, don’t think it’s AI.

What about it? And I still don't understand what Lucy meant with the whole 'influence' thing. I don't think I've changed anybody's minds on anything if that what you mean, so feel free to keep pushing that.

I can't really argue with this but I'll try my darndest. I don't think my doc praise was necessarily 'overhype' but I think it's a little wild that doc saved someone twice in a row and wanted to express that.

I immediately pushed suspicion cuz this day feels pretty important, like this is our second or last chance to get a wolf, and I want to make the most of it by saying 'hey, these 6 people like almost definitely have a wolf' and others have said that point too. Do we not have more leads on the people in Soneji wagon than out?

I need someone to give me an explanation of TMI because my context clue skills are clearly not cutting it. It means too much information, I know that, but I don't understand the context it's meant to be used in. What do you mean 'close when Soneji started to take off'? Like wagons who has 2 votes?

I wouldn't be opposed. Kate?

Falcon

Neon
Mata
Rox
Scotty
Soneji
I think that list is everyone who could be wolf unless I’ve been properly pocketed.
Ok so if we give some credence to Rox showing up and posting, we temporarily remove rox and splints. I'm not crazy about voting Neon. And I know Mata has been very sick so I'm not comfortable going there today.

That leaves:

Scotty
Soneji and
Falcon.

What do you think of that list?
I wouldn’t eliminate scotty today, especially with him hiking.

Id happily elim soneji or Falcon. But I’m prioritising not letting Sean get elimmed.
y’all have some weird tendencies with whether or not you’ll vote for someone. Sounds like I should go hiking every day phase (yes, I do appreciate you not voting me for no reason, which is exactly what it would be. It’s still a lolworthy reason not to vote me)

Golden, there are several ways you’ve gone about these chops over the past few days that want me to push you out of the towncore, but I’m having a hard time expressing those specifics. You get so caught up here in making sure Seanzie doesn’t die it feels like you’re willing to just vote wherever the wind takes you.

This is my perception as I’m reading back. This might change as I continue reading
I am willing to vote wherever the wind takes me, to protect people I feel strongly are town. So that’s an accurate read. My vote for soneji was as much pro-Sean as it was anti-soneji.

And no, going hiking every day won’t protect you but I think limming someone who is balance acting townie in their absence is a bad choice. If you’re town cop, eg, you’d have no chance to claim and change the direction.

We are still at 10/13, and we’ve effectively had the doc give us an entire additional day phase, which is also extending the potential lifespan of cop/deputy checks. We are not in bad shape.

Now, let me explain why consensus building is good in this game imo. We have three cop/deputy checks and two doctor saves in the mix. Cop/deputy/doctor things could be replicative, marmot could also account for one, but there’s probably three or four confirms out there. Based on where we stand, I think maybe all of those confirms are town.

Consensus building enables confirmed town info to be applied as reads and lead to good decision making in the context of us not knowing who the power roles are or what they specifically know.

Your take on them in this game.
I won’t hold their previous players inactivity against them. I didn’t have a read on that player and I don’t have strong feels on them either way yet. Specifically no reason to town read whereas there are plenty I feel alright about so they might make PoE by default. They seem kind of upset as of late, and I feel sorry for them because I understand that frustration of being misunderstood in the thread

I’m gonna give you an answer that assumes you’re town.

Because it’s easy for a wolf to know a wagon is town and feel confident they shouldn’t get on it.

Your answers today relieve my anxiety somewhat but my very first thought when soneji flipped town was ‘oh no, is it Dennis?’

Oh no this makes a lot of sense and now I'm really worried. I can very much understand this and probably shouldve thought this through but the way I saw it was: Soneji is civ and Soneji isn't posting so I have to protect Soneji. I didn't really think about suspicion or anything like that.

Yeah, I think your posts today have been very towny tbh.

Also, if you wanna know why I’m not taking a tonne of suspicion from people who know me well, ask @Kate

What about it? And I still don't understand what Lucy meant with the whole 'influence' thing. I don't think I've changed anybody's minds on anything if that what you mean, so feel free to keep pushing that.

I'm still stuck on this. Marmot accounts for one what? Are you trying to say that, it's unfortunate that it was on Soneji but it's ultimately a good thing we had a consensus?

Thanks now I can't stop laughing and my coworkers think I'm crazy

For the same reason Soneji wasn't until it was pointed out to me.

People who didn't vote on one of the days didn't get moved into groups because I didn't see their name twice.

And i didn't notice.

So i will amend that

It’s possible cop/deputy checked marmot night one. I doubt they checked sabi or soneji given overall tenor of how those votes came together.

Yes I’m saying consensus is good, sorry to soneji that he was the wrong target. Once the vote deleter is gone I’ll feel decent about counterwagons, but even then counterwagon by consensus is good in my view. Operating a towncore from here, I think we are in a good position.
