According to your theory, the only thing that will matter are overall numbers. Let's take a look.

Given a group of maybe 20 players who vote one way, or specifically act one way, 58% of them will be civvie (about 11-12) and 39% will be baddie (about 7-8). But these percentages will apply to any behavior or vote pattern according to your theory, which means that same ratio will exist even if only two players exhibit a specified behavior. Sure there will be more civvies in larger groups, but there will be more baddies to keep the percentages even. Especially in a game where we have two four-player baddie teams and four indies, we have a lot of free-thinking going around, and by proxy, a lot of conforming without hesitation.

So I don't think looking at behaviors is important. Actually, I lied. If there is a behavior that you think is indicative of baddie, of course it's worth looking into. Otherwise, I believe looking at player-specific behaviors is a better bet. Oh and vote patterns.

Linki: What llama said.
Are these Maths a joke too?
I disagree with a good portion of this.
Tbf a lot of your posts make my nose twitch.
No. I was logically proving that Boomslang's theory is inaccurate.

So you disagreee with llama and agree with Boomslang?

Linki: ture
Did I state anywhere that I agreed with Boom? Nope.
No, but you said you disagreed with my post, which was entirely a counterstatement to Boomslang's post. If you disagree with myself and Boomslang, then you yourself are riding the fence.
Roxy wrote:I said I disagree with your posts.
First off is your vote for SVS to get convo going seems like a bit of a stretch. bc A) you never stated any reasoning to, ya know, get convo going. b) bc when asked who you were changing your vote to you ignored and acted like we should have deduced ourselves who you were voting for.
Okay, next game I will start off with "Voting [insert player name here] to get conversation going." That will be mighty effective and also very civvie-like.
Roxy wrote:As far as the quoted post goes your interpretation of how behaviors are not important then go on tosay yes they are important. You rode the fence in your entire post. you say this is important but then say its not as important as this.

I say behavior is a big part of locating baddies. You telling people what is right or wrong in hunting baddies is more or less telling them don't play your own way bc it. is wrong. I super disliked it when inh called boomslang stupid which is the #1 reason I do not like your or his reactions to one post boomslang made. I realize YOU did not call him stupid but you still argued with inh against boomslangs post. (Which may be wrong but who am I to judge how boom plays?) yes its worth noting but is it worth a vote I do not think so.
I have nothing to do with INH, or llama (who also disagreed with Booms). I made the argument of my own choosing because I disagreed and I want credit!
Roxy wrote:I do think your behavior this game is quite different than other games. You seem much more into it than before - more in your face - though thats not quite it either.
I have been a baddie quite a lot, so I don't know how you can twist that logic to make me bad.
Roxy wrote:I do think I will be voting for you.
I think you probably won't.

Not much time left and still uncertain, I agree with Rox, day 1 sucks. I quite like the Boomslang case, I questioned his theory myself but didn't get a reply. Didn't really notice MM's treat much until it has been pointed out by other players, so could vote there. DH and LC are possibly two civs arguing imo. Llama still seems off to me.

Good thing I tried to read some on my phone before now, because holy shit 10 pages and broken internet on the computer at work. Done catching up.

As I was reading, I see the votes have changed around, and several have gone on to Boomslang that weren't there before. I've never played with him, so I don't know his supposed playstyle. I don't really know why others are voting for him other than he's acting weird. I'm also not too much getting the MM votes. I haven't seen the big pings that others seem to see, but it might also be that I can only hold so many players in mind at once.

I'm just going to go ahead and vote LC off of what pinged me in the first place (getting after reywaS for being defensive and voting for him so early), as well as more recent events. The back and forth between him and DH makes me think that LC was actually being quite defensive (more than necessary). He also seemed to be digging at DH's supposed "mudslinging then backing off," but I found DH's defense of himself to be sound (one can suspect something, then back off when it's proven by others or situations that that suspicion might be unfounded). Although DH can be a master of deception, from my little experience with him, he doesn't give me the baddie vibes today (he was more lighthearted and less argumentative when I played with him in Misfits). Anyway, that's what pings me the most Day 1, so I'll be going with that.

Linki - Stop posting so I can post, dammit! :p

Yes and no. My main goal was to kick the game into gear, and to see if others reacted to the vote in some way. I didn't expect you to get defensive over an early Day 1 vote, and I would have been surprised if you had.

Day 1: A 50-50 Chance
“Ladies and gentlemen!” came an announcer who sounded suspiciously like Triple H. “We have a bunch of sucky newcomers in the ring. What if we let one of them handle our newest champion? What do you say?”

The crowd’s enthusiasm blew up.

“Good. Maybe we should let these sucky sucks decide who it’s gonna be!”

Metalmarsh89 began his analysis. “Given a group of maybe 20 players who vote one way, or specifically act one way, 58% of them will be civvie (about 11-12) and 39% will be baddie (about 7-8). But these percentages will apply to any behavior or-”

After Metalmarsh89 finished his analysis, he realized that he was the only one standing in the ring. Everyone else was in the stands watching, and the crowd applauded.

Triple H announced, “Now ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, our reigning champion, The Federal Case!”

A terrifying man in a red, white, and blue singlet with Barack Obama masks for shoulder plates ran down the runway, star-spangled bursts of pyrotechnics on both sides of him.

In the ring, he trash talked Metalmarsh89. “I’m gonna make you pay…your taxes!”

The Federal Case gave Metalmarsh89 The People’s Elbow and the match was disappointingly over. The crowd booed.

Metalmarsh89 didn’t move.

“So is he or isn’t he?”

The Federal Case prodded the downed fellow with the toe of his wrestling boot. “He is.”

Metalmarsh89 has been lynched. He was Mr. Humphries.

“And now, ladies and gentlemen,” said Triple H. “We’re going to have a tag-team match!”

Tonight, you must choose your tag team partner. If someone votes for you before you vote, you must vote for that person, for that is your tag team partner. If you vote for anyone else, you will receive a lynch vote against you the next Day. Votes are not changeable.

Additionally, each of you may privately inform me about your preference regarding changeable votes. Majority rules, and future lynches for this will be run accordingly.
