I'm not going to be here for awhile. MP if you come in see this important post for you from speedchuck here. It's the second section that starts with MP.

Also everyone note the vote is at 3 for Fredwood: Dyslexicon, juliets, speedchuck. Next vote is the hammer vote.

I gotta go for a little while so I can't really wait. We're at L-1 and I am probably going to drop the hammer shortly.

MP: I know you said you wanted to make an appearance prior to the deadline. You can use this opportunity to review the day and orient yourself to the dialogue you've missed, while the thread is locked.

I have no idea what will be happening beyond this phase in this game. Hopefully we can all find the energy to stay engaged just a little bit longer if necessary. We're very close to winning and could become very close to losing. Let's finish strong, gang.

I'll give it a few minutes at least.

Night 6 - Blood on the Horizon

Eugene browsed the overgrown tourist attractions and stalls, long lost to the ages. The whole island combined hiking, exploring, and shopping into one. Although, it probably isnt called ‘shopping’ when you just take the products from out of the store’s broken front window. “Looting isn’t illegal, it’s like treasure hunting,” he assured himself. Gamma continued his hike through the thick vines and eventually found himself at the football stadium.

--------------------------------------

“Aw man, I bet this place was a sight to behold!” he said in amazement. He carefully climbed down the decaying concrete steps and stood on the field, turning in circles to really take in the sight.

“Amazing, I know,” said a voice behind him.

Eugene turned to find man standing not ten feet away from him, in full camouflage. “Nathan Gano, it has been too long my good sir!” he said to the painted man.

“Likewise Eugene...Had a nice week so far?”

“....With you asking questions like that, I wouldve thought that you might be spying on my train?”

“What? You mean listening in on a train outfitted with some of our best security gear? Surely not,” Nathan sarcastically replied. “Tell you what, let’s head back to the sub and i’ll treat you to some quality coffee.”

“Now that, I can’t refuse,” Gamma said with a sigh. As the sky began to shift in colors however, the passengers were having a much different experience.

------------------------------

It had come down to a solid vote. Everyone looks to Fredwood who had been pleading with them all day.

"It's over, scumbag. You've got nowhere to run."

"Pfft, like you're going to stop me?" Fredwood replies.

He suddenly gets up and makes a dash for the door, knocking one of the passengers out of his way. Fredwood hops onto the deck of the station and begins running. But is of course quickly gunned down. The Passengers give a resounding hurray to their success

Fredwood was Fernando De La Garza, The Hacker:

Fredwood-Mafia Forger:
You are the Forger and are aligned with the HIVE (Mafia).

At Night, you are able to choose two players during the game, that player's role wont appear upon death. Can target ANYONE, including yourself. Can repeal the forge, to use on someone else at any time. You cannot repeal a forge once a player has died/ been chosen to die. OR, You may pick one person to be revealed as a different role of your choice. You dont learn the original roles of people that are Forged.
The passengers wondered if they finally had gotten rid of the threat that had plagued them for the past week. But as they kept learning, nothing was ever certain.

Night 6 Ends in 25 hours or 11pm EST 3/2/2017! 24 hours or 10 pm EST. Tonight's Item is the Fire Walk!

Day 7 - Where There's Fire...

And on the seventh day, there was rest. With the murder seemingly having not happened. The Passengers look to one another, wondering if they were finally safe? The train made it’s way across the countryside, and occasionally they could catch glimpses of the Gulf of Mexico from the right side of the train. Everyone ate a solemn breakfast, a few murmuring silent prayers. The air seemed to have lost some of its tension as the people sat and ate.

-----------------------------------

Everyone but Eugene Gamma was relaxed. Or at least appeared relaxed. During the night, someone had left Eugene a note on his bed. Which would be impossible figuring he was the only one with access to the room. It read:

“To my most compliant friend Eugene,

I humbly thank you for your offer to The Federation and I would say this has overall gone most excellently. Albeit my personal endeavors were snatched away from my grasp, the mission was accomplished and you shall receive the coordinates for the North American Vault.

However. This operation will not be complete until we remove the rest of these witnesses. And by ‘we,’ I mean myself. Keep shuttling the sheep around, I’ll take care of them soon enough.

Signed, Adam Deitrich.”

Eugene scrambled his mind for if he knew a Mr. Deitrich but couldve think of ever hearing the name before, EVER. If this Adam, could get into his security room, undetected, then Eugene had a bigger problem on his hands than he originally bargained for.

Eugene crumpled the hand-written letter and threw it across the room. He then dug through his dresser and found an aged pair of sunglasses. “Aviators… Classic Eugene,” he told himself, smirking at the thought of his past self wearing the glasses all the time. Eugene placed the glasses onto his face and prepared for the day. Florida wasn’t what it used to be. It was gonna be hot.

No One has died in the night! With 6 Alive it takes 4 to Lynch! Day ends in 25 hours ( or 11pm EST)

Also, I think I can role claim now. Am I right that protective roles can claim since that probably (surely) was the last mafia? Or is there a reason I should keep it to myself?

I am the Backup Doctor, civ. Never heard of such a thing. I had to clarify after Quin claimed that I was an every night doctor and when I found out I was, I figured there was another doctor out there that I was backing up. That's why I didn't believe his claim that he was a civ odd night doctor. The hosts would not clarify if I was a back-up for a full doctor or a partial doctor which is what caused my doubt about Quin being bad.

As it turned out there isn't a civ doctor and I activated when Quin died which makes absolutely no sense to me but maybe does to you guys. So I was wrong about my reason for suspecting Quin, but I was right that he was bad. It would make more sense to me if I had activated when the bodyguard died since the bodyguard was civ but that's not what happened.

I protected JJJ the first night I was active (night before last).

I'm about to go to bed but will be here for a few minutes.

It's plausible that Quin was not mafia and that you were truly his backup, juliets. We see that Fred's role was a forger, which means any of the prior role flips can technically be theorized as having been falsified. Hell, it's even possible that Fred himself was not the forger and that at some point in the game the actual forger tagged Fred as a fake role! The lack of a night kill here might strongly suggest that Fred was indeed mafia and that they're done for now -- however, it's still plausible a night kill was prevented. There were ways.

In any event, given the information in front of us it would seem logical that the focus should be on the marker, who was quite likely not Fred. Which one of you is full of crap? I see a number of solid candidates.

Day 7 Event - Sickening

Back in the dining car, the passengers eat their meals. JJJ suddenly starts coughing, which dramatically increases in intensity over a few seconds, Dyslexicon appears to be having the same problem. The other four passengers scramble to help their friends, who now begin to foam at the mouth and go slack. Their pulses were nonexistent now. And to think they had all been enjoying a carefree breakfast, not a few minutes before...

RIP guys. Good play.

Juliets just went from my most questionable read to my most town read. I had a townread on Quin all game, and for him to be forged by Fred to show up as a bad guy makes sense. Backup roles are a thing, and I doubt Juliets would fakeclaim something she apparently didn't know about, while being perfectly consistent, and also be claiming a role that required two flips that didn't make sense without each other.

http://forum.chocolatepi.net/showthread.php?tid=411 - Game with a backup role in it.

I don't know if everyone else follows, but I'm almost certain Juliets is town. Willing to stake the game on that, and if I need to explain that more, then I can.

Now I'm between MP, a guy whose roleclaim requires Golden to lie for no reason, and a guy who, being marker, would... also have Golden be lying for no reason. And that's the evidence.

Strawhenge, a guy whose roleclaim screams "don't you try to kill me, scum" and allows for a visit when tracked, which most revengekill roles do not do. A revengekill role also fits less in the setup if Quin was town. Mafia just doesn't have enough survivability for us to have a vigilante, and for mafia to be handing out guns to us, and for there to be a revengekill, and for there to be a marker. It felt like the doc was there to offset the vig, but man, a revengekill too, and no doc? Hrm. Plus a town doctor for town survivability...

I know where my vote would go right now, between the two.

We need to be as certain as possible on this last day, but the offer of an extra 12 hours happens while I am asleep. I defer to my fellow players.

Since I'm weary of missing votes, I'm gonna open up with one.

This isn't an omgus vote, but it does have something to do with me. Vote speedchuck.

It struck me as strange when you POE'd me as the best lynch candidate, when Fred (rightfully) had much more to go on than me. When Fred flipped scum, I felt it was even more strange that you would focus more on me than on Fred, because it was confirmed that he was lying.

Obviously this is very likely not a scum move, but likely a rogue move. (7 scum and a rogue seems steep.) But, in order for you to win, you need a an easy lynch: me: a player who misses EODs and doesn't post much. Notable that your backup is MP, who is also not posting as much as you and juliets.

Also, outright saying you don't believe my claim after agreeing yesterday that my claim is believable is quite convenient. This is now lynch-or-lose, right? So my role can't possibly be confirmed until the game is over. Natural that you'd use my roleclaim as basis for my case.

Thoughts on the rogue in general: Jay finally dying is a sign that the final anti-town is a rogue who believes there's no scum left. You needed Jay to help find scum, scum needed Jay to help find you.

Point by point:
1. I never did POE you as the best lynch candidate. I did focus more on Fred than you, though I might have posted more about you, simply because I was unsure.

2. My backup is MP because he's the only other person I can possibly conceive of as being non-town. I don't think it's the case. As I explained in my previous post, Juliets is in the clear. You could look at that explanation and analyse it, or you can tunnel me because I think you're the rogue, while throwing down an early vote on the most important lynch in the game.

3. Your claim was believable, albeit convenient. Fred's flip made it less certain, as I explained in my previous post. And yeah, it's natural that I'd use your roleclaim in my case. It's something you did. :shrug2: What, should I just ignore it?

4. I do agree that Jay's death points to scum not being around, but I'm not sure what that has to do with anything.

MP, while we're at things, who did you target last night?

Ok, this is not good. I don't know who I believe the marker is.

speedchuck, since you think it's strawhenge as opposed to MP, are you thinking Golden just lied about his targeting JJJ and getting Fred? Thats the only way I see MP's targets making sense. Also, did you find your third name last night (if you want to say)?

strawhenge, same question since you believe speedchuck is the marker over MP. Also Strawhenge I'll look back but I thought speedchuck POE's Fred as the most likely bad not you.

And for all, should we push this lynch off until tomorrow morning at 11:00 am? speedchuck are you in a time zone where that wouldn't work?

If MP is telling the truth, Golden lied about his target. If MP is lying, Golden lied about being driven. Let's look at these cases:

MP is telling the truth case: Golden did not lie about where he went, but did lie about his target. I do not know why he told us anything at all, but hiding his target is reasonable. Why? His target was Fredwood. Mafia watchers often target teammates so that they can know whether townies are bluffing against them and whether they should distance or bus. He didn't want us to know that he targeted Fredwood.

If MP is lying, and is actually the marker: Golden lied about being busdriven at all. This makes no sense, and there's no reason for MP to corroborate it. Furthermore, Golden saw MP/Eloh target Freddie. I assume that this is true, because if it wasn't, both Golden and MP are asking for a lynch. If MP/Eloh targeted Freddie, and Jack didn't, then Fred would have been marked. He didn't die in the first explosion.

Long-winded stuff, but even with Golden's pointless lie, MP was telling the truth. Unless we've gotten a ton more misinformation than we thought, it isn't really possible for MP to be lying. Fred would have died earlier, or Golden would have been lying about even seeing Eloh, which would get Golden insta-lynched. Occam's razor says that MP is truthful. MP lying is tinfoil.

I will be here for the last hour or so anyway, regardless of the time changes. Only a 24 hour increase will really give me more time, though, as I will be gone for most of the extra 12 hours.

I will be here for the last hour or so anyway, regardless of the time changes. Only a 24 hour increase will really give me more time, though, as I will be gone for most of the extra 12 hours.
Like I said, whatever end time works for Juliets, Straw, and MP is good with me.
You are correct, I am not Bellic.

Ok tomorrow night is fine with me.

No, wait, no I haven't. Dammit. Nevermind. Let me tell you all though.

So I targeted juliets and Strawhenge last night. Given Jay and Dizzy exploded, that means neither juliets nor Strawhenge were targeted last night. :ponder:

Also, BIH Fred and RIP Jay and Dizzy.
