Voting Kramer. I might know who Bania is and if I'm right I am less concerned with "hi" and "ok". Kramer's just posted a couple gifs words-free. No pressure, easy-going.

Jerry, I'm hurt that you would say something like that. Hasn't all this time together meant anything to you?? Boy, just when you think you know a guy. You know my friend Bob Sacramento would never say something like that.
Listen, Jerry, you gotta keep me around. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.
Jerry, I know myself. When I'm out there, and it starts to go down, I'm not gonna back down 'til it's over.

Well Jerry, you know, that's a real noodle scratcher...
I've gotta tell you, I've got my eye on that Steinbrenner. He just latched right in on Uncle Leo. What kind of person takes advantage of a guy just because of his name? That's not right.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go fill my freezer with my blood.

That slander is barbed, blatant, belligerent! Why are you calling into question my sensibility? Have I given cause to be called unsensible? Are you a sensibility expert?
Does anyone know what the previous MP sockpuppet game was? Futurama? Who were the Mafia in that game?

Parks and Rec and Futurama. Characters and alignment are never related, it's randomized. The Syndicate users who were mafia:
Futurama - Silverwolf, Epignosis, agleaminranks
Parks and Rec - bea, BigDamnHero, Spacedaisy
Why do you ask?

This whole Mafia thing is totally overrated. Now, the one thing you gotta be ready for is how the man changes into a completely different person five seconds after it's over. I mean, something happens to their personality. It's really quite astounding.

Maybe if I could shrink myself down, like in Fantastic Voyage, and get inside a microscopic submarine, I could be sure. Although if there was something there, it might be pretty scary. Course, I would have that laser.
Someone's gotta go! Who's it gonna be, Elaine?

Vote The Soup Nazi
You leave that Nazi alone. He's a man after my own heart. For the delicious soup, I mean. Not the Nazi part. We used to fight Nazis back in the Army. At least, the Army used to fight Nazis. You know what I'm saying! George, get me some damn soup!
The Soup Nazi wrote: ↑Mon Oct 09, 2017 5:39 pmDisgraceful woman, as expected. Go away, you're keeping the line. OUT!
Lecturing someone on nitpicking for a vote, then using pure roleplay to plant a meaningless one on me. Typical American heathen.

Holds out money
In a loud, clear voice:

Steps to the left
Awaits soup
Do you see split pea on today's menu?
As for that wretched woman, she has proven that her kind is not to be trusted, with her contradictory ways.

Now where did this vote come from? You criticize George, Elaine, Estelle... but then vote Kramer with no real explanation! Not to mention that this is a follower vote on someone I'm feeling pretty good about. Highly questionable behavior.
On another not, rereading Estelle's three posts, I find it satisfying to read them in her roleplaying voice. It works despite her admission that she doesn't know how.

2 hours remain until the deadline expires. Any missing votes will be treated as non-participation. Votes are changeable; there is no reason any player should not have a vote cast before the deadline, especially since all players have now posted. I will not hesitate to forcibly replace non-participants; please see the Game Rules and Procedures for more detail. The integrity of this game depends upon participation. Thank you. Please don't hesitate to let me know any questions or concerns.
Also, the roleplaying is highly amusing and well-done, by the way. Thanks for the entertainment. And I'm glad to see folks enjoying the game.

Take your best shot, Jerry, and lynch an innocent townsperson. With the RP, it's too early to get any real read but I am most suspicious of you and Steinbrenner stirring the pot, changing their votes.

Steinbrenner has made an effort to move the game forward however he can in this puny game thread without breaking character. That's the point of hurling accusations and moving votes around. I don't think he's a good lynch.

Newman, buddy, you gotta do better than this. There is nothing suspicious about Jerry moving his vote around and stirring the pot, that's the way the game is played!

Mr Kramer is a client of mine, so I would normally refrain from discussing anything with an outside source... but this time, you misunderstand me, Mr Seinfeld. It was you I was referring to as someone I feel good about. I like your agressive, game-solving style.

Night 1 has begun. The thread is now unlocked.
I was initially intending to lock the thread during Nights, but in the interest of giving the town a fair balance (as mafia BTSC is constant) and giving everyone a chance to post whenever possible, I've changed my mind here. As such, this thread will be open at all times and you all may post whenever, but posting during Night is optional.
To get the time back on track, please submit night actions by 8:00PM Eastern tomorrow (October 10th), so we can start Day 2 by 8:30PM at the latest. Thanks.

Thanks for playing NewTraditionalist. Join us again soon!
The worst thing about a crappy Day 1 isn't that it's hard to decide who to vote for. It's that there's close to nothing to analyze about it beyond basically randomized voting. Moving forward we're an entire day phase behind the mafia now, and not just because a civilian was lynched.
Let's do better, or we're not winning this game. It's not good enough.
