The read I feel strongest about in my 3 was iaafr, I think. Felt like they were posting a lot but too much noise, not content or hunting. So tell me why I'm wrong.

So then... 11/5/9? We know there was a lynch on the bottom level thanks to JJJ's slipup, there was probably a kill too.

i feel like more people probably moved up from 1 to 2 based on that
Generally agree. There must be three levels now? But presumably we'll collapse back together at some point.

Can't believe they lynched Spiny's slot.
She was obvtown and on top of that it looks like she was a mason

I wish I'd been there to defend her

super bad lynch
Fill a brother in on why she might have been a mason?
REDACTED section in her flip might have been a link to a private chat with the person she knew to be confirmed town

That's a pretty standard use for redaction IME
Hmm okay. Here on The Syndicate there are typically roles that have *Secrets* attached but which can be anything, not necessarily a mason relationship or anything like that. That's what I interpreted the REDACTED as but who knows
8/10 times its a mason, 1/10 times it's a different role, and 1/10 is that it was targeted by a janitor. Odds are that it was just a mason slot.
It's always at least an Emissary who was an obvious townie

bad, bad lynch

LLD, Quin, Mac, and 112 are missing. And I think we had 15 so that should be everyone accounted for.

I get where you're coming from, but I just keep coming around to their opinions the more I investigate and bounce off other people. I thought they sucked, but maybe they're seeing this game more clearly than me. That makes them Town, and more strongly so than if I'd never really questioned their reads.

I know what you mean about it, but I think it's a stylistic thing. He's my strongest townread.

But I've never seen his scum game, so :shrug2:

One, he honestly isn't low content. Once you look past the jokes and at the intent he couples with them, he's honestly fairly solid looking. And this to ane xtent feels like a style thing, wherein this feels like town iaafr to me fairly well.

I endorse this list in its entirety
except sprit is not fluid he's solidly in the middle group
Is this due to his emotional outburst around EOD? Trying to figure out where you're getting the confidence for the placement there.

The emotional outburst solidified it but I've been feeling like he was town since Day 1: he plays like I do when I'm under serious time crunch

I'd also like to point out that we seem to be roughly halving each day

30/16/9/?

I would bet a dollar tomorrow is 5 players

as such I would really like Epignosis to hurry up and become obvtown today, assuming he can

And if people have that many lives, it stands to reason that mafia's goal could be considered not to kill everyone. Would take too long. They need to reach something to achieve their goal in that scenario.

I don’t think it’s a problem.

Nova had more detractors than Nanook. Someone without a vote at all could say this.

A kill on Nanook is probably important. You know. To someone who remembers his reads.

I assume all the levels are going to end up collapsed together again at some point, and the game returns to 'normal'. Otherwise no one will ever truly understand what is happening and the game could end rather suddenly.

I'm curious if the mafia get daychat even if split between different levels. Probably.

Evenstar: I stand by what I wrote about her yesterday, and still don't quite understand what the disagreement is with my calling her a civilian. I realize she got frustrating during the back half of Day 2 (for me) because she was calling for my head over Godfather nonsense, but at no point did I feel inclined to question if she believed what she was spouting off. Her view was fair even though I 100% disagree with it (and 101% disagree with giving it so much credence). However, I believe she believed it, which is all that matters to me. Still, let's please not do that again. I do appreciate her regaining sense later on in the phase, so thank you for that.

Pawn Lelouch: Again, I stand by what I said about Mr. Front-Line Fodder. The Day 2 stuff largely had me nodding my head.

Master Radishes: My fellow academic was not afraid to get saucy with me early on Day 2. After engaging me and having at least a little bit of discussion I feel like I understand his mindset better and I think he understands mine. I felt like it was a productive Day 2 on that front with regard to my view on the Root Maestro. Civilian lock? Hardly. Civilian lock given the circumstances? :shrug2:

I thought about it and decided it was against the spirit of the game.

If Jay and Sloonei wanted me to have the thread, they wouldn’t do whatever they did to keep me from looking at it.

Plus, I had a Halloween party to go to and wanted to play some Fire Emblem so two birds one stone.

So then... 11/5/9? We know there was a lynch on the bottom level thanks to JJJ's slipup, there was probably a kill too.

You should have remembered it regardless. Evenstar posted it here not long ago:
Evenstar wrote: Sat Nov 02, 2019 6:33 pm Here, I saved the wording of her flip:

"You are the subconscious aspect of conscientiousness.

You represent the mark’s steadfastness in the proper and thorough completion of tasks set before them.

You begin the game with the knowledge that REDACTED is an aspect of the subconscious and not an intruder.

REDACTED

You will win the game if all threats to the subconscious mind are eliminated."

... is it common for janitors to be able to work on lynches? I don't get where you're getting this "janitor" idea from.

Yeah. Janitors pretty commonly work on lynches, otherwise their utility would be severely hampered. Clearing info from cops + gunsmiths are nice and all, but lynches are where the actual main use of the ability lies imo.

And I thought it was a guaranteed janitor since I saw it was boo, but was too busy finishing up my service learning for the day to look at the actual text closely and see that it strongly hinted mason before it was deleted. So I just saw redacted and kinda auto assumed janitor throughout the night since I believe it was one of the listed possible roles at the beginning and it fits with the info removal.

When I played with the role back on MSPAFA it was always NK only. But then again last day's lynch didn't flip, so... Yeah, I guess you could have a point. Still feels much more likely a mason.

LLD, Quin, Mac, and 112 are missing. And I think we had 15 so that should be everyone accounted for.
And Michelle. Just remembered her.
...

Literally everyone forgot she was with us. I feel kinda guilty about that now.
Probably makes her town.

When did I become a consensus scumread?

I’m obviously town.

My three are still iaafr, Radishes and new challenger Pawn, who has basically just repeated consensus shit today and the back half of yesterday.

I don't agree with this.

At first I didn't understand your meaning, and perhaps it is true I still don't, but I think "[REDACTED]" simply is the hosts' way of saying that information is not going to be made public. In other words, boo gets the knowledge, but everyone else does not. It is up to us to look at Spiny's and boo's posts to determine who "[REDACTED] is."
