She wouldn't. Llama was pretty obviously suspicious of Scotty.

I'm thinking of voting Scotty myself.
Which is exactly why she killed him.

Why on EARTH would I kill llama, especially after his comment directly before he got killed?
So that you could say "Why on EARTH would I kill llama"?

I don't know what else to say here.

If we don't walk away with a win here because I was basically talking too much and attempting to defend my ass off while splints sits with her hands under her butt, I'm just gonna take a LONG extended break from mafia. I've never lasted this long here just to see it get thrown back in my face without having won for the 5 months I've been on this site for me to continue playing. Losing is not something I really enjoy for the effort I tend to put into it.

tbqh scotty, in an endgame situation, why would splints throw away her easy lynch? I don't get it.

So you're going to threaten to quit if we lynch you? You better not be trying that shit if you're bad.

What is her easy lynch?

Because it's obviously not me.

Now I'm back to thinking splints is the last baddie.

Didn't golden want to lynch Lacey earlier in the game? Seeing as he was bad it's likely he wanted the lynch of a baddie to buy him some civvie cred.

Plus golden and Scotty went head to head in the thread which I don't really see them doing if they were teammates. I've seen some staged arguments and what not before but this didn't seem like it was...

First off, I didn't convenient disappear. My last post was at 11:30 at night.

Secondly, sitting with my hands under my butt is just fucking rude to say. Despite your insistence that I haven't been I have been defending myself too. For the record, I'm actually thinking about quitting mafia too, but I'm not throwing it into the game to fucking scare you all into not voting for me. I'm going to "conveniently" disappear again, because I'm pretty annoyed to wake up to that shit. I agreed to replace into a game and that is the thanks I get.

Hey splints, I mean no personal foul against you, and I apologize if it came off that way. I didn't think that was rude at the time, and was quite drunk to boot.
I appreciate you subbing in, and don't want any bad jojo going on between us because it is just a game. Frustrations aside, can we agree to just let bygones be bygones?

Ok RNG gods, what's the final result? Did Monty and his cronies get away with murder of our family?

Day 8 - Curtain Call

"Welcome, my few remaining family members," Scotty said to Dom, Splints, and Sorsha. "Please, step inside and take your minds off the drudgery that has befallen our dear relatives."

He showed them inside his church and proceeded to give them the best tour of his life. He was determined to keep them occupied and away from thoughts of murder. Unfortunately, murder was still on some minds.

As the group made their way to the roof, Scotty began to climb the spire for some reason.

"As you can see, this architecture dates from the Baroque period, and is most sturdy. Look how it supports my weight!" he declared.

Just then, Dom and Phoebe ran forward and began throwing vegetables at Scotty.

"Wha-who-why are-AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!" Scotty finally slipped and plummeted to his death.

"I know we've had our differences, but now that dear Monty is gone, we have to stick together to honor his work," said Dom.

"Agreed," agreed Splints agreeably. "The D'Ysquiths are no more!"

"Except for me," said Sorsha.

"But you're invincible, so we're not even bothering at this point. Also, I'm a D'Ysquith too," pointed out Dom.

"Then you will be the heiress and I'll share in the wealth with you!" exclaimed Splints. "We'll pin it on Sorsha and let the fortune fall to you!"

The villainesses celebrated their dastardly deeds. Truly, crime paid off.
Scotty has been lynched. He was Reverend Ezekial D'Ysquith. Dom, Splints, MM, and Golden have won the game!

Scotty, I'm sorry for playing you like that. :/ I hope you play soon.

It's cool. I was a little annoyed at the insinuation I wasn't playing correctly, but I also decided to play up that "annoyance" to get you lynched. I'm tired of the annoyed=civvie thing in games and I was going to prove how easy it is to fake/use to your advantage. I am still considering a break, but it didn't have anything to do with you.
You can ask my team I even said earlier in the game how if we didn't win I wanted you to :)

Great work teammies and thanks for the game DF.

Such is my luck here.

Good game baddies! Was I right in assuming Phoebe was a turncloak should she find Monty? And did Golden slip when he said Dom was Phoebe?

I have a few questions but I am at work for a while and can't formulate them right now.

I tried to protect llama last night but my save was redirected. I was supa pissed.

It's unfortunate that neither llama not Sorsha believed me earlier, but I'll take it as a learning experience.

I was completely serious that if I didn't win this I would leave. I will finish up what I have going on right now here, but this game is affecting my life too much and it's been quite fruitless. Maybe I'll be back after an extended break. I'll never truly leave, but I think I'm just burned out.

Scotty, a short break is good - but you are way too great a person and I would miss playing the game with you. I really love playing mafia with you.

You were also definitely the town MVP. We were coasting to a win and you nearly turned the whole thing around.

Yes. I did a major slip. I really wasn't focussed on this game, and boy did it nearly screw the whole thing up.

The 'quiet' thing wasn't because I was bad, though. I'm just quiet in all games at the moment, relative to normal, because like you I'm a little burnt out and can't dedicate quite the same time to it. I'm going to take a short break after World Reborn.

I was running short on time that day, and I was about to make a post highlighting the fact that none of your suspicions had a civvie thought process behind them, and then you went and made a post linking my behavior to some other game where I was bad. I was like, goddamnit Golden... :P And I thought MM would be an easier lynch target that day, which almost worked.

Also I totes enjoyed being civ ninja and taking out golden bc I cba'ed to make a case (it would have been too much work) :p

I was keeping you alive because I like playing with you.

I even came down on the 'Roxy is good, Eloh is bad' side of the fence because I wanted you to be alive until the end. Even though you suspected me.

You didn't successfully turn Sorsha, and you were still going to die either way. And Dom and Splints were still going to vote Scotty. It's not on you.

Where we really won was probably on night one. There were two roles who could target Dom and get btsc with him, Scotty was completely right about a love triangle. We just got exceptionally lucky that we targetted him first.
