I think I might give DF a bye for his role hint. No one has come forth to contest it, so unless he knows whom The Odd was, or is gambling that he knows whom The Odd was (I certainly don't recall anyone else hinting at it, but I'm not a show-watcher), he might very well be The Odd.

Any thoughts on Hedgeowl and Gotrees? I'm curious to know if anyone can vouch for Dom. I'm considering a Hedgeowl vote.
I highly doubt Hedgeowl is bad and I extremely doubt Gotrees is bad.

Definitely won't vote either today.

Why has no one given me ANY thoughts on Blooper, despite me asking?

Blooper is Nijuu? What's there to say about him? There are times I'm convinced he's bailed, but then he comes back and makes a post that gives an indication that he is following at least on some basic level. So idk.

MP, why so trusting of Gotrees and Hedgeowl?

linki, yes she has been ready to sub in.

She died N3, I died N4 :( However, MM may have been recruited by the Master.

Blooper is Nijuu, yes, sorry, it's due to her avatar that I call her that. She has been the definition of under the radar this game. Perfect playstyle for The Master, right?

Similar reasons that I trust you for Gotrees, and for Hedgeowl I have her pegged with a confidence a bit less than Daisy and Dana... essentially, she could be bad, but let's just say I'd shit my pants if she were Cyber or The Master. :p I just don't see it.

Interesting... :ponder:

Okay, here's my theory.

Splints was the secret recruiter. Turns out she died N3. She recruited Roxy (they're really close, why wouldn't she?) and she possibly recruited MM, but let's assume she didn't. Let's assume, because she died N3, that she only had one chance to recruit before then. Probably a fair assumption.

Therefore, MM was "recruited" by The Master. I know the wording seems odd, but that would explain him being "recruited"; it's because he was "found". It also explains why, while he was alive, he didn't seem to demonstrate any real knowledge about the secret team, and seemed to just be trolling.

Is it not possible that the recruiter isn't influencing beyond Roxy and POSSIBLY MM as well because the recruiter is splints?

I don't have any role assigned to her. I think this might actually be true.

I don't understand what this means.

Do you have thoughts on today's lynch/The Master? Dom, Blooper, DF, or someone else; what do you think?

I still think you're Cyber, but given Bass was unrecruited and my theory about the recruiter being dead, I don't really care to lynch you today to be honest.

It is odd, but it explains everything, I think... right? Since there was no lynch stop (it was a host error), that means the lynch switch the other day very well could have just been a prize.

And if the recruiter COULD recruit anyone (or practically anyone) and was a secret role, wouldn't that be insanely powerful? If I created a role like that, there's no way I'd give it any life protection.

It also explains why I haven't been recruited, why Bass wasn't recruited, and why its influence seems to be just carried through all of us asserting it's still there... but we haven't seen any further evidence of it.

That and I don't really know what other role splints could be at this point if not one of the two secret roles, based on my notes.

I think he might be. I think it is very likely however. Why do I think it? Already said why. Notice how he is now saying that the recruiter is dead and there are no recruits.

You mean since I started defending him hard and vice versa?

Yeah, probably. Same with S~V~S though for similar reasons, right? Excluding your thoughts on her earlier of course.

I honestly think the solution to all of this is simpler than we've been making it. I thought about it today and then based on what you said too about the lack of influence, the theory just really makes sense. Let's just say there are two Cybers remaining and The Master, which have to be: Snowy, Epig, Dom, Blooper, and DF.

Maybe it's wishful thinking that the recruiter is dead, but it makes sense to me, at least if/until we receive new evidence that says otherwise.

It happens, though. Remember the super secret role in Six Feet Under died like day one or two. That was why you inherited the kill. There are a lot of built in death saves in this game. Not everyone can have one  But yeah, I get your point, though.

Bass not being recruited made me think that the recruiter being gone was a possibility as well. But until we know that for sure, i would prefer to operate as if the recruiter is still out there.

But you keep saying Hedgeowl is the recruiter, not LC. Right?

And why would I not do any of that as my regular old civ self either?

And LC 1.0 and 2.0 are both civilians.

So I'm afraid I don't understand how this is anything other than baseless fear mongering.

MP, I'm changing my vote to Hedgeowl. Little more comfortable with her than DF. I don't know who splints was, but I can tell you she seemed annoyed that Roxy was on the team that killed her. So I am sure she wans't the recruiter. I still think she was most likely a civ.

Blooper is being blendy~ she is not posting much, and when she is it is wall o'text. I read the walls o'text, and it feels more like a "story" then a post. She does not "feel" very civvie to e, based on her other games. As for Dom, I have somewhat of a blind spot. I tend to trust him, then I get paranoid that he is a baddie standing in my blind spot. For a little bit earlier today, he got me paranoid; he had that peevish bitchy baddie thing going on a bit. But then he sounded more like himself. So my opinion on Dom is fairly meaningless.

I tend to discount role hints, but in this game, with ways to pinpoint down roles to some extent, and a civ dead check (does anyone have a belief that Donna may be dead?) no one saying, Um, no way, makes me somewhat inclined to at least think about the possibility. Does anyone have arguments against it? Or thin it may have been someone else that was the Ood?

I didn't see any conflicting role hints regarding The Ood, I only had placed someone as a probable in that role due to POE. Therefore, even though it's possible DF is lying, I'll be voting Blooper.

I worked on this earlier. I don't know if it will help, but I basically found out that if Donna is alive, she would have been able to search all NKed players, not including Elo, BR & LC 1.0 at this point.

Donna check list:

night 1 - none - No one dead
night 2 - none - lynched juliets only 1 dead
night 3 - TH - checks TH or MR (died night 1)
night 4 - MR - MP & Elo survive night 2 NK. only check left is night 1.
night 5 - Splints - the only one who died night 3.
night 6 - zeek - Everyone knows Made was Emperor from night 4
night 7 - Daisy - only 1 to die night 5
night 8 - Made
night 9 - MP
night 10 - LC, BR or Elo.

I looked for thread evidence of any "ah HA!" moments, or anything that may suggest I found her, and I got nothing.
