Ooop, looks like you already tossed Zephyrus out. Well, no matter. Hope he was that Paradox Police guy. Guess we'll find out if something goes wrong.

INH gave a massive meaty post, so I'd rather not lynch him atm.

What does everyone think of Epi? His push on Zeph seemed very meh and I wasn't a fan of Choutus jumping on.
He’s buddying me. It’s fine. We’re buddies

As for INH- yes it had a lot of substance but it was more of a bean burger than a beef burger, ya dig?
This post is also officially dumb. Dumb, dumb, dumb. What is this, a beloved Disney film about an elephant with a feather? Because y'all are acting like a bunch of Dumbos.

[VOTE: scotty] aubergine
Good one. Also nice NO U
Spacedaisy wrote: Sat Jun 16, 2018 6:10 pm Tell me what your thoughts are on choutas. I have no thoughts developed there yet.
Choutas is a conundrum. I also have no developed opinions of him. I’ll iso him later
ColinIsCool wrote: Sat Jun 16, 2018 6:17 pm Golden, you can say “this is my town meta” all you want, but it doesn’t mean much and to my eyes you are acting differently than in previous games where I played you and you were town. I don’t recall you being a D1 lynch in either AG or U-Pick, I don’t recall you reacting to suspicions so severely and I don’t recall you labeling half the game with scumreads right out the gate.
If anything, your play reminds me of your Easter game. It’s the way you phrase sentences and it’s a gut read I also had on you then. Which is funny because I knew you were bad, except for day 2 when I had a lapse where I forgot I was bad and saw you post and had some sort of weird epiphany that you were way too careful with your words before I came back to earth and realized that you were my teammate.

But it still applies here. I will need to iso you later too.
ColinIsCool wrote: Sat Jun 16, 2018 6:30 pm For example, Golden has offered relatively strong scum reads or accusations of fake behavior against these users: Quin, Epignosis, Scotty, insertnamehere

Scotty has done the same, or voiced his favor for a lynch, for Zephyrus, Golden, Spacedaisy, Choutas, and a few maybe-serious-maybe-not votes for sig and insertnamehere.

Is it just me, or does wildly vacillating between all these people seem kinda weird (particularly for Scotty)?
Does “weird” = “bad” or are you just setting me up on a pedestal and poking the glass hoping you get to see me dance? :ponder:

Spacedaisy wrote: Sat Jun 16, 2018 7:19 pm Ok, after an ISO of Scotty, I found him all over the place. Yet the only person he doggedly pursued with questioning was Golden and he never had his vote on Golden. And that line of questioning with Golden felt like something more intended to get Golden's feathers ruffled than t o really hunt scum. It just doesn't sit well with me. I don't normally have a problem with someone's vote being all over the place in Day 1. Pressure voting is a real and useful thing at times when done properly. but Scotty almost never accompanied his votes with any real accusations or pressure. It feels fake. If he legitimately suspected Golden, why not vote for him. That is what I keep coming back to.

I'll ISO Golden next ColinIsCool
:ponder:
So I’ll ask you the same question I asked someone else they pointed this out- have you never not voted for someone that you found suspicious?

I’m amazed at you people that find me suspicious on D1. You have played games with me before. You have experienced my at times odd D1 gameplay. But you continue to focus on me feeling fake.

News flash: I ain’t gonna be fake on D1. You are never going to trap me on D1 for being fake. Even when I’m bad I express thoughts of people I think look suspicious. Duplicitous? Maybe. But it’s about perspective. If anything, my most suspicious traits on D1 come from who I don’t vote for when I’m bad. I don’t often have great reads on people D1 ever, and I say this every game. I do my best, but I play best after analyzing votes and reveals (and we didn’t even get that tsk tsk)

Aaaaaanyway. Daisy, I put you in my sandwich, and will decide if I want to eat you. I like your spunk. I think. But i don’t like how you came about suspecting me.

nutella wrote: Sat Jun 16, 2018 7:51 pm and honestly the random assumption that my suspicion of you is based on a personal grudge looks even more suspicious to me. like, acknowledge that my perspective can be valid and make a reasonable attempt to refute my assertion that your statement was fake, don't just wave it off and discredit my accusation
It wasn't fake, it was my thoughts as I read that post. I don't care if you like or agree. But there is no proof to convince you of whether or not it is fake and I don't care to waste my time trying. I have better things to do, like hunt scum. And frankly, you saying you don't have some kind of impression of me due to Genius only serves to convince me you are bad, beacuse that was a weak ass accusation. you had already decided to vote me before I started posting and you then grasped onto the one post I made with the simple statment that what I said was fake (no reason to back this up or say why you think it is fake) and that I was teammates with lap? I said nothing about lap, I was questioning Zeph. I don't believe you are town.

Also, I will dismiss your accusations as much as I please. If it's a stupid reason to vote for me, I'm under no obligation to do anything. I'm playing to catch scum not waste my time defending against someone I'm not convinced is civ to begin with. bring a real case and I might actually address it. until then, nah.

It's not random, you used it against me in the last game I played against you. And you were wrong then. Just like you are here.

The only reason my vote isn't on you right now is because the last time I suspected you I was wrong. But then, my suspicious were based on your connections with Elo, this time it's all you.
Wooooah there Nellie. A little too fast too furious. I feel like you’re playing the role of citizen that knows it appears genuine if you say you don’t care if others agree, and you’re here to get down to business. Very tough.

Daisy seems angry this game from the gate. I’d bet on her in the Kentucky derby this year, but as for civilian??? Not strong.

I already said I wasn’t voting golden today
Shades of “I’m not voting JJJ” in Easter? If you’re suspicious of him, why not?
Shades of im not changing my D1 meta regardless of alignment so I don’t get lynched D1.

Seems to fucking backfire a lot though :disappoint:
Oh — so you’re saying you won’t vote for an active player on D1 out of principle/intentional meta?
Yep. Because if I’m wrong and a big potential town talker I’d eliminated, we’ve got some ghosts taking their spot and ghosts are 2spooky4me
@ColinIsCool after playing mafia with this guy for 3 years now I can tell you this is completely NAI for Scotty
Why are you telling me and not everybody else who also thinks the Golden-non-vote is strange?
You seem to be the most resistant to this opinion, and continue to be unable to change this viewpoint. At this point, I was certainly a low hanging fuct and one you could take advantage of. But then some people see reason there and you think you got a free slider at Carls Jr

Now normally at this point, I’m unusually wary of people that are defending me for whatever reason. And normally I can see people’s suspicion of me for what it is and often read them as town because of it.

I don’t see this in Colin.
I don’t see this in Daisy either, and she has less of an excuse in throwing wet hot dogs at me because she’s played with me more. Plus I feel like she is playing from a place of brutal execution where in her current state I wouldn’t want her to watch my kids [though I don’t have any. I hope. Happy father’s day].

Do 2 people that voted for me and parked their vote there for flippant reasons make me want to NO U them hard

I never ever said I wouldn't be contributing much. You are building a completely false narrative here. I've been doing ISO's and playing the game, so where are you getting this idea that I came into a team chat and said I wouldn't be contributing?

I am not being bussed by mafia teammates because I am not mafia.
Sounds like someone that is frustrated for being called out for what she believes are inane reasons, but is still trying to appear good

Quin makes me uncomfortable when he comes to my defense throughout the day, although it can be noted that his main defense is that my D1 meta is NAI. Which I guess is like saying Caribou Coffee has good coffee. I don’t know if it does, but it probably does.

Spacedaisy wrote: Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:11 pm INH reads like someone who takes issue with someone using meta as a defense. He's not wrong. Meta is a shit reason to be dissuaded to vote from someone. If you know your meta well enough to use it to defend yourself then what's to say you couldn't use it to trick us into thinking you are civ? I think INH is just focusing on the wrong thing. He is focusing on a shit defense, and letting it blind him to your overall tone and behavior. I don't think INH is bad. I think you guys are civ on civ.

Mac: It's ridiculous and wrong. Do better.
Ah I see you did expand on why you’d vote me over INH.

But here’s the thing: I already made that observation and also agree that civ metas are not a basis for defense. Your gripe with me seems to be that I didn’t vote golden and put my money where my mouth is. I guess. So to call INH civ because he had the same idea I had is harrowing. If I had just voted golden, would you have looked to vote INh over me if you had the option at the time, considering he made all those observations in a large block post later in the day?

I made a post before my vote where I saw similarities between your blockpost case on golden with fancy fornatting and stars and sparkles and once-you-pop-the-fun-don’t-stop shit and the ones you made in GoC. Givin the semblance of someone that is participatory and making lofty evidential claims to make the masses nod and shrug.

Why is that trustworthy? I read her last scum game that she linked to in GoC and she was pretty active in that game too.

Big difference here than what I’m used to is her duraflame fire that hasn’t burned out. I don’t know what it means.
