Mostly, I need 24/24 or 48/24 or 72h day 1 with rest of setup 48/24 just to be able to feel like I have enough time to play and solve the game. Too many of the games on MU are less than 24h phases with a very committed player group. I just don't always feel like I'm reaching my potential there.
Yeah, there's a lot of websites out there. I consider DailyMafia as my 2nd home because I've played the 2nd most amount of games there and the community was very welcoming. DailyMafia is video mafia format, but lots of the people in their community play games together outside of just mafia. But I still feel like forum mafia is superior to video mafia. Or forum based mafia gives introvert personalities an opportunity to compete; I feel like I can't get a word in sometimes when playing in video format. I'm too respectful of however is currently talking.

Yeah, that's a really good point. I also think I come to better judgments when I'm able to take a break from the game, let my thoughts simmer in the back of my mind while working or doing other things, and then coming back with a different perspective. It is so much fun to be very immersed in a game and have those background thoughts constantly turning. I'm with you too; 48/24 is probably the ideal for me, and sadly even that seems like not enough time for me anymore.
That sounds pretty cool, like trying to replicate in-person mafia. I love in-person mafia, but it doesn't even come close to the awesomeness that is forum mafia -- there is way more nuance. What you said is true too regarding giving everyone a voice, an astute point, because it can definitely be harder to get words in the live setting. I wonder how video mafia format works; that would be interesting.

Not technically, although it is on the ever-growing technical to-do list. That is probably the one feature we are the most in need of. It’s funny though because even when I play on sites with multi quote I don’t end up using it most of the time because I forget; I’m so accustomed to just saving various quotes.

Haha, thanks! It was a great game for sure. I very much enjoyed both that and Fallen; both games were a blast in distinct ways.
