I just created a survival league on Yahoo. You pick one team each week and if they win, you get to keep making picks. If they lose, you're done. You can use each team once all season.

Id like to, but as an AZ resident, I can't use that site except to play the free shit...

I'll look into it. I've never played it before with the playoffs as an option. If need be, I'll change the setting. You would think the playoff-bound teams would all get used up.

Alright, according to Yahoo, the team options resets when the playoffs start. So we get to pick for 17 weeks of the NFL season, then the 12 teams making the playoffs are all available to be picked in the playoffs. The playoffs follow a similar one-use-per-team selection rule, so save your Super Bowl prediction for the Super Bowl I guess.

Now I have Seattle for another go.

Had the Dolphins won, I'd have been ecstatic even though it would have wrecked my fantasy football leagues. Dan Marino was my sports hero as a kid. It's been a long time since I've been able to get excited about the Dolphins. I doubt this will be the year.

So, apparently i picked the Rams in my OTHER survival league with a different group. I'm still in!!!!

Just me and the marmot now. I wish I hadn't set eliminations as one and done. Maybe once we're all out, we can restart it. I guess we'll find out.

While I'm glad to get the pick 'em points for the Oakland game, I was partially rooting against them when I saw Buffalo was leading early. I'm running out of good match-ups to pick from.
