You won though.
I honestly don't feel I deserved it with my lack of actually being here. My worst game for participation ever! Well I know I can't play at Christmas again. :D

Talk about bad luck though. DrWilgy and zebra were nightkilled by the other mafia team, and I was nightkilled by the guy who has a 33% chance of successfully killing his target.

I didn't get to use my role ability at all. :pout: Being Esme, I would have easily survived the first lynch against me based on the number of votes. And also, my secrets said if I was the last remaining member of my team alive, I would switch and join Count Olaf's team. Unfortunately, zebra and I were killed at the same time.

Well, the only thing you really had against me was the way I was going after you. If I had been sure you were Civ and supporting that, I have little doubt you would have for someone else that day.

"I am sorry to say that Mr. Poe had not done a very good job so far, and that the Baudelaires had learned that the only thing they could rely on with Mr. Poe was that he always had a cough." - The Ersatz Elevator, pg. 4

Lemony Snicket didn't recognize Mr. Poe's rampaging potential.

XD I am sorry to my scumbuddies and the rest of the players for all of my low access woes; I'm typically not a person to miss the vote that many times but when we were in Florida I didn't have the chance to be around then even when I thought I was and when I got back home I passed out exhausted twice more than I hoped I would >.>

This was certainly not a game with a lot of luck on the scum side; boo on us for killing baddies two times but I guess that's not completely unexpected when we didn't pick our kills the way we should have, and Golden zeroing on Soneji instantly and Sig zeroing on Glorfindel certainly created some remarkably awkward situations.

I very much enjoyed playing with you all; I mostly just hope that my next scum game here is more of a glorious rampage of death and destruction as opposed to whatever this scum game was.

Looking forward to playing with you again Nacho.
Wouldn't it have been awkward if you did join their team, seeing how they killed half of your buddies. :p

Long Con wrote:Sigh... something you should know about Long Con... I can be careless and make mistakes...because I'm bad. Bad at paying attention, especially when I'm having a few drinks in the evening...because I'm bad. Well, I guess it's not so bad to have a few drinks, especially on Christmas holidays, and I shouldn't blame the booze - it's my responsibility to monitor my own situation and do things right, and when I make mistakes, it's not...because I'm bad.

I have made a mistake in this phase, and it was unintentional, but I want to apologize to the player that knew it all along...because I'm bad. My intentions were to play it as straight as possible, and I messed it all up...because I'm bad. I'm sure most of you will fully understand what I'm talking about, and it's not a point I wish to belabor - in fact, the only reason I would even acknowledge the existence of the point is that it was my personal careless mistake that brought it up...because I'm bad.

Oh, yeah, I forgot I wanted to apologize to Vice Principal Nero for messing up my curse. I was supposed to end every sentence with "...because I'm bad." And when I started, it was late and I was tired, and I remembered it wrong, doing most of it as "...as a baddie."

Zebra, I hope you weren't too upset ...because I'm bad. :haha:

I'm also kind of proud that when nacho kept pushing me for an lc read, I kept saying I didn't read him specifically as bad or town. Nailed it again!

I concur. I'm really excited to see how they handle the later books in the series, as I think books 11, 12, and 13 are all stone-cold classics. If they can maintain the level of quality, while gradually becoming more dark and complicated, I'll be happy.

I'm not kidding about the dark and complicated part too, the last few books are basically Thomas Pynchon for kids.

Excellent news.

I don't watch shows at all. But I did read the books as a kid/teenager and enjoyed them, so my main goal is to see it for the nostalgia. But the fact that it's pretty fucking great is a nice bonus.
