I agree wholeheartedly. And we don't know what Sorsha's strategy was - it doesn't mean she didn't have one.

In both Golden's and my case, Quin was able to get out a powerful player and avoid his own elimination through the use of an idol that he had. The difference in the Opt/Quin role power debate is that Opt's power gave her a small competitive edge in some competitions. She still had to bust ass in each competition. Quin's power gave him a vehicle to find and horde immunity until final 4. The two do not compare.

RE: Sorsha I suppose we don't know what her strategy was but from Ponderosa and the thread it looks like she was never "in the loop" on the alliances/big plays that happened. I could be wrong. It just seems like, of the three, she did the least to make it to final 3.

Not a knock on her, I just wouldn't vote for her in the end.

I agree. Looking forward to how Sorsha will respond to these questions.

Quin actually didn't use his role to the full advantage either. There were times in the early rubbings that he instead worked to better the tribe. I remember in like day 6-7 he told his BTSC partners not only his Rolex but where the possible idols were- so DF went looking in one location and Golden went looking in another, while Quin stoked the fire. That shows loyalty in his partners and faith that they wouldn't blindside him.

I wouldn't mind a chart of "Found Idols/Used Idols Per Person".

I'll list all those out after the game.

I hope Quin includes that in his speech

Consider what Opt vs. Quin did *without* their role advantages. Opt wiped the floor with those challenges. What did Quin or Sorsha do that compares?

I would have closed the Ponderosa thread too, tbh. Knowing how the show's format deals with the closing procedure, post-judgement judgement talking feels meh.

I think it is a testament to my play that, even having not made merge, I'm still a ghost haunting the final 3.

Though that would be a hell of a way to decide this game.

In retrospect it is hitting me now that Quin and SVS, two people Golden explicitly told me I could trust, turned on me the moment they had the chance to.

Last time I listen to that goofball.

Seriously, hats off to Scotty for putting this together. A long time ago, a player named Map put together a LMS game based on Battle Royale and Long Con said it would make standard mafia games go the way of the dinosaur. I think this game is proof of that.

Hah thanks man. I don't think this by any means replaces standard mafia games. It's just like going to Denny's and NOT ordering an entire breakfast for once.
